Good place and good food. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and neat. Their service also very good.

Super food, super cool host.

It is a fantastic place to stay with wonderful home cooked food. It is also close to Pidurangala and Sigirya within walking distance.

Just stopped in for a bite and found the outdoor dining area quite comfortable and the proprietor gave good service. He also has a pet giant tree squirrel.

The best place around Sigiriya.

Great location between Sigiriya and Pidurangala, ypu can reach both on foot without problem. Tasty food. Accepts credit cards. Rooms clean and with hot water showers.

The location is very convenient, the hostess is very friendly and hospitable. The room was very spacious and clean. The dinner was delicious and the price was very reasonable.

A home away from home. It felt like visiting a family rather than then staying at a homestay. The folks were really hospitable and are ever ready to assist when you need to get around Sigriya/Dambulla area. The room was cozy and clean. Food was excellent. Lion and Pidurangala rocks are just a stone's throw away from here. When needed to get around, Thal Sewana recommended us Tuk-Tuk driver — Kumar. He was an excellent tour guide and driver. He was a honest driver and gave us reasonable rates to get around.

The place is very calm, and very well located. 15 minutes walk to the Lion's Rock ticket office, and 5 minutes to the Pidurangala rock. The owner and staff were very nice, and helpful. Breakfast was very good. And we took 3 dinners there, all excellent. I definitely recommend this cheap place.

Wuasanti and her son, the warmth in Person. The Curry is a poem. Anyone who loves vegetarian or vegan, is here gold correct. Everything is Hand-Made without additives. A small waiting time is therefore essential. The food is served on the cosy Veranda. Thal Sewana is by 4.8.2017 exactly a year old and still the room of Sri Lanka look uncharacteristically clean and well maintained. The accommodation is located right in the middle of the Lions Rock and Pidurangala. Walk a stone's throw away. With a little luck, you can see in the moat of Sigiriya, a crocodile. We have had it. Who loves hospitality, tranquility and family environment, is here exactly correct. One of my top three recommendations in Sri Lanka. The place is very new and clean, located right between Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks. The owner is charming. Highly recommended!

We have been travelling around Sri Lanka for a few weeks. I'm not a usual review leaver but this place was wonderful. It's situated right between both rocks and is so peaceful and clean. The host is friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable and an amazing cook. We stayed 1 night to climb Pidurangala rock (which I highly recommend as it's only 500rps and gives the most incredible view of sigiriya rock without the crowds) We're thinking of changing our trip to come back here for another night. Highly recommended.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Food cooked in the house by her really yummy and genuine, vegan and vegetarian without any problem. I personally recommend it as a point to stay to visit the surroundings.

Stopped here for lunch after hiking Pidurangala Rock. The lady who runs this place is so lovely and a great cook! If you want a cheap, central place to stay I would highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved her hospitality.

Great place… 500m to Sigiriya rock entrance and just in front of Pidurangala rock. Great food, no artificial added for food. Really good people. Great accommodation.
