We stayed in on 2 different nights as we were traveling around. We had 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms were perfectly fine, had AC and a fan, the outdoor shower was a nice touch. No bar fridge. There was a pool right outside the rooms. As for the restaurant we had 2 different experiences, first night the food was really good if a little show coming but that was something we got used to in SL and didn't overly worry is. Second night food was very slow and not as good. My wife had the buffet the first night and didn't think it was worth it. The staff were generally warm and helpful, as we found in most places in SL. The reason you stay here is to visit Sigiriya Rock and it is well worth the visit. Lots of steps to the top but well worth it. The gardens at the bottom and fantastic.

We stayed here for one night and had an amazing experience. As we entered the resort, there was a couple of peacocks in the garden area and we got overwhelmed with a safari-like feeling… The rooms are designed as cabanas. They were very neat and clean. The surrounding atmosphere with the low lighting was charming. Food is also delicious and we were amazed by the hospitality & the friendliness of the staff. Also the rates are extremely affordable and our experience is fully worth the cost… This definitely is the place I'd choose when I travel to Sigiriya again!

The hotel is beautiful and the food was great. The reason for my one star rating is because of THEFT. I had left my cigar humidor with a few expensive cigars when I checked out, once I learned I had left it behind I called the hotel right away to notify them and to confirm that it's there. After numerous calls and hang ups the next morning I was told my humidor was there but all but one cigar was left. The housekeeping had STOLEN my most expensive cigars including the humidor device inside. I have zero tolerance for theft despite what was stolen. Apart from it the toiletries in the toilet was half full, toilet paper was not a new roll and the sink was clogged. Our toilet kept running as well. Very disappointed and I would like a refund but I doubt it would happen. I urge hotel management to train their employees to be ethical and honest.

Rural environment and friendly decor with nice pool. But mosquitoes present and noises in the early mornings due to songs or prayers.

Pretty bad hospitality. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. The food is alright, they recycled last night's dinner and served it as Sri Lankan breakfast! The waiters won't tend to you if you re not "white"or of you haven't come. In a larger group, but theyll come. Multiple times to come and confirm your room number once you ve placed an order! I'd suggest you stay some place else if you have a choice. I'm so glad I just had to stay here for a night, I was at flower garden eco hotel the day before and their hospitality was SO MUCH BETTER. Terribly regret spending Christmas Eve at this hotel.

Good foods, Good service, Quit Place, Pool and well maintain garden. Near to Sigiriya rock. Around 12 km… free Wi-Fi and friendly staff.

Charming place, very pretty detached villa, attentive staff, two swimming pools and a point of view on Lion's rock perched in a tree hut.
The kitchen is good and varied.

Very lovely place close to Sigiriya and they have 84 rooms. They grow their own paddy fields to give that experience to the foreign crowd. Also the swimming pool very nice.

Very quiet and a beautiful place. Their breakfast buffet was awesome and the swimming pool also very nice. One thing which was curious was how they had two single cots put together instead of a king or a queen size cot. Bathrooms are huge with s nice tub.

Nice hotel in the nature, having cabanas, very closer to Sigiriya Rock. Have a short cut with carpet road to Sigiriya Rock from the hotel.

Clean and relax place to stay in THE resort Category. THE breakfast and evening buffet are wealthy and of good taste. iDEAL place to visit Sigirya and Ponowara. In THE Morning THE hotel is almost empty, so you have a private pool.

The place is clean, good food, very quiet, good food and friendly staff. No entertaiment in the hotel exept pool, but this is a good place to return for a night sleep after sightseen nearby.
