Beautifull hotel, Staff are very kind and good. Very comfortable. Swimming pool is very nice. Bathrooms are superb with hot tubs… foods are very tasty.

Dont know what happend to the place but very dissapointed by the experience. Not even close to the experience expected by the recomendations. Understafed and subqualified. Restaurant is patettic forgot some orders brought dishes different from the menu TV worked first night but second night TV was disconected due to non payment of the bills. Definetly not something you expect from a 5* hotel, room and bathroom nice.

Stayed one night at Villa Pinnawala with my family. Definitely a good place to stay. A fantastic location. Delicious food. Wonderful hospitality by the staff. Nice swimming pool. Large washroom in the villa with a bath tub and a top open shower with heaters. Good restaurant. Good Clean environment with a view of a paddy field. Enough space in the villa. Affordable price.

We stayed at Villa Pinnawala for 1 night in June. It was a memorable stay and the staff made everything possible to make our stay smooth and perfect! Room was filled with amenities and welcome drink was amazingly good (we had it for breakfast too! ). Room had a TV and the bathroom was spacious (Initially bathroom and pool looked a little less spacious from outside but it was not when you go inside). They have two kinds of rooms pool view rooms have a sophisticated bathroom with a outdoor merge. Room bathroom was sparkling clean. Pool was superb, had a jacuzzi area and separate levels for kids shallow and deep which all were clean and fine. Staff was knowledgable with the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage data and they were eager to help us with our running queries. We have no complaints and we will definetely return if we come back to Pinnawala. Thank you for everything plus arranging the room upgrade :)

A seven star experience from a three star hotel. A hotel which concerns not only the comfort of their customers but also the corporate social responsibilities. A hotel with Really helpful staff, Delicious cuisines, A fantastic swimming pool, luxurious villas and a beautiful garden.

Villa pinnawala is nice restaurant and hotel. The place is next to the car park for Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage entrance. The restaurant is having DJ and music and no crowded and having good western food, example good Pitzza options available which kids like. If walk little further inside, the hotel is with nice rooms and swimming pool. Next to the hotel, they have a good buffet restaurant and having both western and local food option. Possible to order with menu too, but buffet is nicer. Hotel is very calm and quite and having beautiful view of paddy fields next to the hotel swimming pool.

The place had a fresh atmosphere. The individual villas were cozy. The washrooms gave a spa kind of a feel. The place is very quiet so if you want to just sit back and relax then this is the place for you. The omly drawback was their food selection and recipes in lunch and dinner buffet. The taste and quality wasn't up to the mark and didnt justify the price.

What can I say, Villa Pinnawala &Restaurant haveGreat Villas, great location near the Three Elefant Sanctuaries, and they absolutely cannot, and I mean cannot do enough for you to ensure your stay is the best it can be.
We had breakfast included in our package, but to be fair the prices over here are ridiculously low for everything.
They do a buffet lunch (Chargeable, and also Dinner the same, or there is a Restaurant next door which is part of the Complex that serves Alcohol, and also a small bar upstairs called “Cheers”!
Just remember one thing, Accommodation and service is second to none, and weather you choose 4*, 5*, or the best Hotel, outside of the places you stay are very poor, and low grade, but this is a wonderful place to visit, highly recommended, and great value for staying, food, recreation, and location.
And a massive Thankyou to all the Staff, they really are wonderful!

Restaurant is recommended tasty food (always freshly prepared — show cooking) Nice bar — wide selection of drinks the best hotel in the region is right across from the elephant farm.
Rooms and villas very nice, spacious and very residing (nice bathroom).
At lunchtime a tasty extensive buffet is offered at a reasonable price (11:00 am to 02:00 pm) restaurant (in the evening) very high quality dishes — always freshly prepared (show cooking! ) Large selection — super appetizers and desserts. Price adjusted to quality.
A visit to the bar is absolutely recommended — nice selection of spirits — shisha is offered.

I can highly recommend this hotel. Delicious food best surrounding. Nice staff.

People who visiting Elephant ophanage in Pinnawela an ideal place to stay.

They have poor customer care, food was ordered promised to serve in 20mins served after 1 hour, The cashier gave a balance of 1000rs short and again another 200 We saw some other customers complaint aswell. If u want to save time this is not the place.

Location is good, very close to Pinnawala elephant's care and zoo. But need more improvement of services. Customer care is less and have to ask everything from them.

Good place for eat. Both buffet &pub available. Small swimming pool situated in front of big pays field.

The staff Lilith, Charith and Nuwan went out of their way to prepare us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner on our request. They were so welcoming, hospitable and kind. It is a very comfortable hotel in a beautiful place with lovely staff. We had a great stay and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Jane and Neil from Australia.

Very comfortable indeed. The room was lovely with a very pretty and large bathroom (included a shower with a sky view. ) The restaurant served a god selection of freshly cooked food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Swimming pool very clean with a pretty view.

Expensive good, hotel looks good.

Extremely slow service. Buffet however there was hardly by food. They keep minimal quantity and food gets over soon. Food quality also was not its best.
