You can get a good view of Ma Oya river and elephant bath from this place. Lunch buffet was not good though. Tickets from elephant orphanage are required before entering this hotel.

Good place for wedding ceremony. Delicious food is served too. Nice scenery of the elephant bathing just adjacent to the hotel. Has spacious car park as well.

It ia an amaziing place at pinnawala, very close to the pinnawala elephant orphanage. You can enjoy with foods seen many elephants visinity around hotel premises.

Staff are rude and clearly don't care about their guests, we're just there to be taken of advantage of for money. Food was disgusting and price was too much. We had to pay 200 lkr for purchase orphanage tickets just to get into the hotel lobby an hour before check in at 4pm. Not even worth it for the view of the elephants because all ticket holders can see the same view. All the great reviews purely for the elephants are misleading people. Think twice before booked it.

The hotel with the best view of the River (Elephant bathing). Buffet lunch starts by 12pm and goes to around 3pm. Snacks can be ordered any time. Friendly service by attentive waiters! Clean toilets!

We had a great time in there best place to chill in rabukkana. Pinnalanda hotel has a nice river view rooms and food was delicious and the stuff also friendly. Highly recommend ❤

Visited the place for my classmates wedding, nice place with good view of the Ma oya and if you are lucky enough you can see elephants bathing. And the food is delicious and nice helpful staff.

Good hotel to view the elephants. Bathing elephants 8-10 am, 1 wave of elephants — you can feed from your hands, take pictures, touch
2 wave of elephants from 10 to 12 adults = not particularly feed and not touch … only watch and take pictures. The hotel is right ABOVE the bathing of elephants … no entrance fees! convenient. 12-13 "elephants" come to an end and everything becomes dull, dusty standard landscape of Sri Lanka. Arriving in the night you need to book the whole day … in this situation, be careful — deception when leaving the hotel (was there for 5 hours in the morning — afternoon) tried to get extra payment for the room … for Breakfast…) )
Makes sense to visit immediately upon arrival. Transfer round 3 (4) hours. To stay overnight only if you have small children. The hotel is clean, well maintained … a solid 3*. The staff is dumb about the deception) ) )

This hotel is horrible. After spending over 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, this place stood out for all the wrong reasons. Staff are rude and clearly don't care about their guests, we're just there to be taken of advantage of for money. We had no running water in our bathroom and the pipes made our whole room smell like a sewer. Food was disgusting. I could barely even get through it. Lied to us about the Wi-Fi being "deactivated" — until we guessed the password. We had to pay 2500 lkr each to purchase orphanage tickets just to get into the hotel lobby an hour before check in at 4pm. Not even worth it for the view of the elephants because all ticket holders can see the same view. All the great reviews purely for the elephants are misleading people. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

It's a good place to stop overnight, or even half a day, if you come up to 16:00, you need to pay for the entry tickets to the nursery (February 2017 the price of 2500 rupees per person), because this is an elephant road and the hotel will not be available for free or before 10:00, but then We need to pay the hotel half the price for entering the nursery. The elephants are great, we can get to the hotel again, and have some breakfast. The room was very clean, towels and laundry were excellent.

The hotel's ten rooms, the rooms are decent (though small), furniture and bathroom new, Breakfast is usual for Sri Lanka. Faced with the fact that as soon as I entered, the room was not cleaned and towels not replaced with clean. It was unpleasant, and although the staff immediately fixed this, the precipitate, as they say, remained. To rambukkana to go 15 minutes by tuktuk through the city, about 250-300 rupees, all know this hotel, very convenient.

The elephants start swimming from 8:30 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 15:30. The place is quite decent, but I had to on arrival immediately require staff full cleaning of the room, replace towels and clean the sinks. However, the Lankans dolt and this should be always ready :)

A must stop place to see elephants close by. Make sure you stop by during the elephant bath times.

There are running a scam. They get the customer to sign on the back of the receipt and charge tips from the credit card. Fool that I was, when the waiter ask if I could put my initials on the back of the invoice for his reference, I sign it. To see that waiter has written an extra tip and charge to my credit card. Do not go here.
