Such a cool place with great vibes! loved my first Kitesurfing lessons here. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Also, did I say, it is a paradise location!

I have been to kitesurfing Lanka a few times and have always had a great time. We have conducted 2 or 3 yoga teacher training courses and we have always been looked after very well by the staff. The resort has a very “chilled out” vibe and lagoon and sea around are stunning.

This was my 4th time at Kitesurfing Lanka and I highly recommend it:
— exceptional spots with places like Vella (butter flat water with a consistent wind… and nobody out there — paradise)
— amazing staff, incredibly kind and helpful
— outstanding coaching with Franzi from senditkitecoaching. Com, who in just 3h of lessons taught me the darkslide, darkslide transition with a kite loop, to jump higher (and in style :) ) and the front roll… … To sum up — I’ll come back here as soon as I can!

Calm, relaxing place near to beach. Main attraction would be Kitesurfing, but to me it was the super pod of dolphins and sperm whale sitings. I visited in March, off season for kite surfing but the best time for dolphin and whale sitings, provided LUCK is with you. Towards the expensive side. Food is awesome. Staffs, extremely friendly.

If you're looking for a chilled out spot next to the beach with decent accommodation for the holidays, this is the place. As the name suggests the place is popular for Kite surfing but through personal experience I may assure you that it isn't the only attraction there. The beach provides an unparalleled experience with minimal danger. Also Kayaking is an available activity for those looking for sport. The views during sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. Even if you're not a water person, the resort gives you many options from playing board games to kicking back in one of their cool villas for a good read. A bar is available. The meals are pretty good as well offering continental meals as well. Tea and Coffee available throughout the day as well. Accommodation is available for Rooms as well as tents (of which the conditions are extremely good). Overall very good place.

It is a marvelous place to stay and be relax with lagoon breeze. I enjoyed serenity of the natural based accommodations with luxurious feelings. They used many environmental friendly methods to decorations. There used recycle and upcycle products in this beach resort. If you looks around you can see many creative things. It's more than a resort and it's like a nature paradise which gives us a our own destination. Go and feel it. Be a part of it. Live a another life there with best hospitality.

Stuff is really nice and I guess during high season it's a great place. Right now almost nothing is going on, and for this the place was too expensive. Especially because they tried to let me pay more at the end (for the reason there were too less people for a group for the kite lessons … but they didn't tell me before the single price). Anyways: Food is awesome! Rooms are nice! People are super friendly! Sadly the price is so high, it kinda disturbs the great feeling of this place.

Beautiful place, nature and sporty, delicious buffet and lovely staff. Even without kite, it was TOP!

Very relaxing setting, Good food, great vibe and the staff are brilliant — especially Ragita the amazing Barman/artist/comedian/legend! Nice beach right infront and a nice bridge over the lagoon to get there!

I didn't stay there. Just viewed. They have offered me an iglu tent with mattress for 6500 rs. The spin after all. Live around the corner now in a really nicely made beach hut with terasse and bath for 5000 rs.

Kalpitija a strange place, if you ride a kite or learn to skate-that's it! Besides, there is absolutely nothing to do here. But for kite surf-just a paradise. Prices for housing inexpensive, food-frankly cheap, blowing in the winter almost all the time, what else do you need? For training there is a perfect flat depth on the knee.

Wonderful place to come alone, with family or friends. Super Good food, friendly team and very clean accommodation.

Great place. Very chilled out and relaxing. Great food and value for money. Keep in mind, you don't need to kite surf to stay here, though as the name suggests that is their main attraction. This is a great place to go and relax in Kalpitiya amongst friendly people. It's also pet friendly with one of the owner's dog Wendy (pictured :D) being a constant friendly presence, which is amazing. Offers villa type, room type and premium tented accommodation. Beautiful location seconds away from the beach.

Very nice place but the nicest thing is the food.
Hearty menu, varied and unlimited.
Team welcomed, good accomodation and cleaned center.
The place is perfect during winter season because it is direct on the ocean and direction of the Wind is good at that time.

A very nice still preserved place… The beach remained wild as this part of the country.
The buffet, hospitality, the friendliness of the staff is far above the price of the accommodation…
The kite spot is beautiful; It is on a lagoon allowing beginners as to the super pro to have fun by West South West wind… For me this was my first navigation by 34 knots ;-) on flat water, a pleasure…
A place to go for kite surfing and something else…

Hello, so I stayed 15 days to KSL it was a great experience. There's some kite spots a bit around the camp, a great atmosphere, there's also a great leader who will make you very good dish. Especially go for the trip on velha wind off ultra flat for freestyle and there's the downwind to do before arriving.
