The most wonderful and up kept hotel and such a friendly and welcoming staff! Our room is just wonderful, ample, quiet and so comfortable! A special thank you to David and the girls at the front desk for your attention and making our stay special! This hotel has the most beautiful serene views, pools and golf course! I totally recommend this hotel! The papamambo restaurant has the most delicious cuisine ever! A must try! Thank you to all of you at the Melia Villaitana! I adore you! I would give this hotel a five star recommendation because of all the extra efforts they are taking to the safety of their clients and workers because of the covid pandemic … well done Melia Villaitana Benidorm, I applaud a well done job! It's the best hotel by far I've ever been. Spectacular service, great food and wonderful rooms.

A lovely hotel all perfect a very large and nice pool the only one sticks the cold food and there was not a microwave.

The site is perfect if you like to feel ripped off.
Two giant pools with a single lifeguard… if you drown, you can take yourself for dead.
The maintenance of the hotel is very improveable with loose lights restaurant chairs full of bird that I personally feel disgusted to sit in them for dinner.
The buffet I think in my house I prepare more dishes a day. Mr. Hotel Owner you at home do three times in a row paella for lunch and dinner? Because I've been in your hotel for three days and I've only eaten paella and fideuá and the macaroni kids.
The subject of celiacs in case anyone has doubt, a gentleman asks in front of me because his son had not liked macaroni and the answer was that there was also spaghetti.
Summary of a buffet of a 5-star hotel:
For the celiacs spaghetti and macaroni and for the other paella fideuá and fritanga.
Not to mention the buffet queues created by bad organization, the security distance is not met and there is no one indicating where to go and where to go, so two endless queues are created and it is a little disastrous due to lack of organization.
Another thing that I find a disgrace is that a hotel where families with children come there is not a fountain available to drink water and you have to buy bottles at 3.5 euros.

Such an incredible and beautiful hotel! Really loved our stay with my boyfriend who is now my fiancé. Thanks to the staff for arranging such a romantic and special dinner at the roof yesterday! ❤.

An unforgettable experience the food very good and I do not miss anything the rooms one pass the workers a charm sd carried 10 and this year if god kiere we will return.

Golf only. Played the course twice this holiday. Great welcome, a starter who knew his job and a very challenging course that required not only length off the tee but care around the greens were strategically placed bunkers. 19th hole served great food and staff were friendly and efficient.

The place was beautiful but there was ants everywhere. The rooms smelled of the sewers. And for a 5⭐ hotel how they could not keep the food warm that was a let down. Ps the golf course was superb. The greens were quick that was only good thing about the complex. Ps very expensive for drinks that are rubbish.

Brilliant hotel, felt like we were in Game of Thrones with all the beautiful buildings. One warm pool which we always got a bed by. Rooms were huge with a walk in wardrobe.

No staff ever on duty. All bars closed except one!

I did not enjoy this golf course. The sand in the bunker's where different from bunker to bunker, some bunkers had soft sand and some had hard sand. Good greens, but did not like the matted grass in the fairways, very hard if you are used to take divots when you hit your ball. Took me several holes to learn to pick the ball clean and messed my game up for a week. Friendly staff and a lot of work going on.

Horrible stay. We had long wait to get our rooms. The porters were very abrupt when we dared to ask for help to carry our suitcasesx4. One of our two rooms was damp and smelled of cigarette smoke and when we complained the receptionist said they were full and they could do nothing about it. The shower and A/C in our room did not work properly and we were given only 1 bath towel as they were in the "busy" season. The second room had an ant infestation and the main door lock did not work. Nobody cares, they are just too busy, all they want is your money. This place is truly YUK and costs loads. Go somewhere decent!

Beautiful place, staff were good. The food at the start of our holiday was out of this world. Towards the end of the week not so much. Spa was nice, needed a little updating/ repair work. Staff at the kids club were great, my girl was the only English speaking child there but they looked after her very very well. We did feel a little out of place here, due to the lack of English, but all in all a stunning place to stay.

I wouldn't stay again for free. Very slow service when ordering anything. The poor staff are worked off their feet and look miserable. I requested a king size bed 3 days in a row and did not receive it. Two singles instead which made a very uncomfortable sleep. My first two days housekeeping did not clean the room. I can keep going on, but I think I have got my message across.

Heaven! A week in May: sunny days but not too hot. A very well heated pool. Not too crowded. Family Suite very quiet and nice. Staff to the small care. I highly recommend this place whether you are with family, couple or friends.

A very beautifully located hotel, it’s built like a small village, even have a plaza with a church. Really great breakfast, nice rooms and good service.

A luxury. It has a very well-kept golf course, several swimming pools as well as internal squares reminiscent of the most beautiful squares in the cities. The customer service is superb.

It has an enviable facilities, nice, well maintained and totally new.
It has shady areas with hurdles and many others for sunbathing.
You can eat and have breakfast on several of the terraces you have, surrounded by pools and bridges that communicate them.
The rooms are really nice.
Those on the floor at least two overlook an amazing private garden, totally silent and without anyone bothering you.
The lounges are spacious and well lit and the welcome terrace, from which you see the Skyline of the city is spacious and very beautiful.
I loved the days I spent there.

Location and complex were amazing, not the place to go on a budget, water 3.50 Euros for 500ml, no tea/coffee facilities. Go prepared with this in mind. We did enjoy ourselves, pools were amazing, 1 heated, when you've swam in the North sea the others were OK which made those observing think we were mad. Highly recommend.

Despite the large size of the hotel, it is quite quiet. Simulates a small town the views and the surroundings are breathtaking.
If you practice golf The visit is a must.
It is worth strolling through the interior of the hotel and discovering the countless corners.

Stunning hotel and great location! You wouldn't know you were anywhere near Benidorm! We did have to change rooms, but that was only because we didn't have much of a view in our first room — the views are Stunning! Reception was brilliant and gave us a choice of rooms and allowed us to view them first before we made a decision! Highly recommended!

I've given 5 stars, purely for the course and facilities. The fairways are in great condition, and the greens are superb, although very fast and incredibly hard to read. If I could give 1 star for course management, then I would. Me and my mate played the 23rd and 26th of March, and we were told there were 300 golfers booked in to play on both days. If I book in as a two ball, a two ball is what I would expect to play, but we were paired up with an old couple on Friday, both well into their 70's, and very slow. We finished the 18th a full 25 minutes after the group before us. Just a little bit greedy if you ask me.

Superb golf course.

Had 200 euros stolen from our wallets in the room by maid or housekeeper when we left the safe open by mistake. Also took 6 hours to complete a round of golf and staff didn't care after complaining. Spa doesn't open until midday. Smaller golf course is basically a pitch and putt. Would never go back again.

Entertainment for corporate event, but we stayed overnight too. Fantastic hotel with great amenities, stunning views and beautiful architecture. Recommended!

It's the most hospitable hotel I've ever met. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was alone with two children, one of them incapacitated. My daughter and my nephew. They pampered us, their attention to and for us was very human

After a round we wanted to have a drink in the restaurant with 25 golfers.
We were very disappointing, we were very poorly served, you can not recommend.
I can't say anything about the food offers, as we have visited another place for this.

It's not very cold in winter, it's not very hot in summer.

A magnificent hotel. In the mountain of Benidorm. Away from the hustle and close if you want to go to town. Very familiar atmosphere, excellent buffet and very well maintained swimming pools. Large hammocks and very friendly staff. We'll be back safe.

A special hotel with some things, few, to improve.
The hotel is really good, from my point of view well taken care of.
You can park in the outdoor parking for free, as it could not be less.
At the reception they are friendly and they make things easier, also the employees that you are finding down the road, the hotel is huge.
The rooms are more than correct.
What if you could improve are the directions to move around the hotel, get to the rooms as you forgetfulness can be tricky.
I also think that the restaurant, we had dinner at the Restaurante La Tratia, is very better.
Breakfast very good, plentiful and constantly resetting.

What are the facilities are very good … regarding the staff we met people who were very prepared but also to another, under my point of view is not to the height of a hotel of these characteristics… we are in the room two beds together which had wheels and it was inevitable that they move by their instability. Lack of information such as, for example, that the drink in our booking of the full board was paid at the party. A pity all those details for the rest all good.

Beautiful location and architecture, but the food served at our closed event was sub-par.

The facilities are spectacular (spa, golf, swimming pools, playground, artificial beach etc. ) and the service of the hotel is very attentive. The aspects to improve are: the great distances to travel between some rooms (especially the family suites) and the services of the hotel (parking, reception, restaurants) coupled with the little availability of the boogies, the food is something loose, there are signs of Little Maintenance (peeling paint, rust), the playground is plagued with Wasps and in low season most restaurants are closed.

I passed the December bridge with my wife (celiac) and the site we loved. It's spectacular!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. My wife was taken a celiac survival KIT with a brownie, a cupcake and a baguete. Besides there were many things I could eat from generics (fruit, tortilla, York, tomato, …)
For celiac food we saw an Italian that makes you the gluten free pasta and the bar that is in front of the reception that makes you sanwiches and gluten free burgers (delicious! )
For the celiac dinner type buffet We went to the restaurant Los Naranjos and Normal… They prepared a gluten-free baguete and then have grilled things that will fix your dinner. For dessert we were offered again the brownie which is a detail.
To get him some "but" did not know to tell us if the cheeses were gluten-free, but we would have given the same, because the island where they had was all decorated with colines (muffins).

I went to an international food/event. We got an unforgettable rice… but bad and hard. Tasteless! A lot of service roll but we went hungry xq the rice was impossible. … and that Q I am of those of not throwing anything!

Surprisingly calm oasis just outside Benidorm, very easy for the airport and the town centre. 2 golf courses both worth playing, the shorter course is more mature and more scenic.

We had a generous family superior room overlooking the huge grounds and on Benidorm.
Overall a nice facility. In the postseason, however, already quite empty — thus no more animation, pools completely points. The breakfast was ok but nothing special, the dinner buffet presented appealing and quite good.
Overall quite good, but in all areas would go a bit more.
The tiny reception was, incidentally, even with the few guests somewhat overwhelmed.

Fab Golf Course, in Great condition, Buggy Bar service regular, food in d restaurant was good and very reasonable for a top class Golf Course. Definitely one to play again as we played it Twice and highly recommend it! Def will back.

The worst experience I have ever had in a hotel in my life. We arrived and there was a queue for the check in for an hour. When we were finally greeted they told us that the room was not ready yet and that we would be notified (we were told at 3:30 pm). When we got to the room we found the extra bed that I attached in pictures. At night I wonder where to dine and they recommend one of the locals called "the BBQ". When we arrived it was closed and when we asked the buffet he said, "What if it closes at 20:30, it's for between hours … ". Total, as there are not many more sites, we decided to pay the ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡30 EUROS! thinking the buffet would be ok. What a big mistake … Very scarce and, to top it all, at 22:30 they were already picking up and at 23 almost closing (it should be said that we arrived at 22 and nobody told us anything …). Above, for more inri, it was a lie that they closed at 8:30 p. M. As it puts it in the welcome paper … When we are going to pay they tell us that they had been charged to the room, when at no time we had said that they did, but they could not remove it because the person in charge was no longer and was very lioso … We went to have a drink and IT TAKEN ONE HOUR IN SERVICE AND 15 MINUTES TO SERVE US 1 CUP AND 1 WATER! Of course, they had the detail of realizing and inviting us (the only good thing I can say …). The next day at the buffet the coffee machine did not work well … As you can see, the worst visit of my life.

I only was there at dinner and I could see a beautiful show after it. There was a lot of people, but the service was good and so did the meal. I recommend it, especially if you go with kids.

Like last year a few days in love in this heavenly place, an incomparable view of the city of Benidorm, the sea and Terra Mitica, a corner reserved for adults the Level, a pool that seems immense so we are almost alone, the staff Smiling, thoughtful and rider and spacious rooms not to mention gourmet meals with far too many choices to test everything. Thank you for these few unforgettable days.

Good for families. If you're a couple staying it would be worth splashing out to stay at The Level. English speaking with allergies was a little difficult but staff are nice for the most part. Try a message at the YHI spa, it was very relaxing and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

If you love a restful no stress stay then this place is pretty good. We got all inclusive so just ask for food or drink and you get it. Nice gym and pool. Mostly for the families so be prepared to go the 'Level' option if you want a quite couples without kids retreat. Otherwise… so many kids. I mean heaps of them.

I am housed in a room deluxe and the truth is that I am very disappointed between what I paid and the sefvicios that I receive, recommand food and very little variety in the buffet, and very expensive hotel restaurants to eat.

Ivan's phenomenal reception, Jacobs and Sandra employees also. The hotel is very well and even more The Level part. Good place for a summer getaway.

Very Nice Resort Good food, Very Close to Tierra Mitica park.

We spent 7 night at the hotel that was apparently rated 5 stars. The experience was disappointing because although the estate is beautiful the service was lacking in many respects! Our initial room had a stinking bed, a cigar smoker must have slept and smoked in that bed for several nights, unfortunately it is only the first night at 0230 am when my breathing became impossible and we rushed into a second room! The restaurant where the half board buffet was served was invaded by unruly kids that nobody dared to control, it was also populated by small birds being frankly a health hazard! The service was of the lowest level! Finally most distressing to me, as a business person, was the fact that the Wi-Fi never worked, apart from two short half days at our arrival and at our departure of our seven days stay! By the way our room rated superior was large, nicely furnished unfortunately had strictly no view because of an enormous palm tree right in front! Our English neighbor had the same experience! Apart from the reception low quality staff all over! Apart from the great set-up, disappointing, three star at best! As far as the golf courses are concerned the LEVANTE is of high standard and the smaller course is of good quality as well! Phil.

Hotel for couples seeking tranquility is ideal but we were 4 friends we loved absolutely everything. Ivan, reception has been a fabulous deal with us, we must stress this. We find a chollazo by a traditional travel agency for €12 the room! The breakfast included! We know that it is not a usual price therefore, we want to say thank you in a certain way with this comment. But if we put some glue, this drawback is in the orange juice, which seems of powders and put a bit of pulp to disguise but in general, one of the best hotels on the Spanish coast money.

Excellent service and treatment, variety when it comes to food and good facilities make it a perfect place to spend holidays. 100% recommended.

Second year that we spent a week at the hotel in summer and I hope to repeat next. The animation and the people of the hotel are a 10, as well as the facilities. Perfect to go with children.

This Hotel is definitely not " family-friendly Benidorm hotel" as they claim, we do not consider our 12 year old daughter an Adult, but the Melia Villaitana Hotel does. As a consequence of her not being 11 our room rate has shot up by around 40%. The call back service on the website left me speaking with an adviser who also thought this was crazy! We will now be looking to return to the professionally run Villa Gadea Hotel in Altea. If the management read this, then please contact me with a reply as you have no email address on your website.
