Fabulous week at the Hotel Colon. Room had fantastic views over the beach, was spotless, comfy double bed, free air con, Wi-Fi and a fridge to keep drinks cold. Staff were super friendly, nothing too much bother. Will definitely be back.

The basic rooms do not know if you have reformed but ours certainly was not. I guess the score has them for the location basically because the hotel is in decline. To climb you had to leave the elevator on the fifth floor and climb stairs to the room. Dinner was a shame. Hospital food and I say that I work in one. Purees. Soups soft meals and very basic. To choose between three dishes and one of them was always mixed meat.

Friendly and comfortable Hotel. The location and the views were great. The treatment of the exquisite owners and the employees of the hotel, especially the staff, the cleaning girls and especially the confidence to leave my puppy alone. All very majas, is special Carmen, the laundry girl and make my room because we cared and treated us very well in everything with affection and we were very quiet my mother and I with her leaving my puppy alone or while doing our room and what we need. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great and the room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. I have repeated many times and without hesitation.

This is the second time we've come. The location is excellent, the beach is very good. The service is very good, the cleanliness great and the attention of the workers very simpatico. Highly recommended for this we repeat.

I really liked it. A cozy apartment overlooking the beach. Great to be able to rest in the holidays.

It is a small hotel but very cozy, good cleanliness excellent treatment and the normal buffet breakfast, the rooms are not very big but they are OK, then you have the beach at 20 meters and you are completely in the center.
The price is very good, even having three stars is a perfect hotel to go on holiday, it is very well in every way.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Colon. We both loved the sea view room and sitting out on balcony. Truly worth paying a bit more to wake up to each morning! All the staff were extremely helpful especially storing luggage because had a late flight. A self service breakfast which was very filling and still enjoy the sea view! We will definitely be back. Great hotel clean modern very polite staff only disappointing thing was we payed very reasonable price of €60 — nite asked how much for sea view room €80 — NITE EXTRA YES EXTRA BUT STILL NICE HOTEL Considering a nice hotel however stayed in MONETEMAR across the road this time last year paid same price. But sea view no extra cost amazing hotel brilliant staff!

Excellent service and a good value for moNye establishment.

1) The check-in took a really long time. The guy doing it also asked if we wanted Wi-Fi.! The staff overall were rude, not helpful and clearly not onto it. 2) Breakfast was average, nothing special, sort've like the whole town and vibe actually. Food in Benidorm is bad, period. I got sick, actually because of the poor quality. Eat out at your own risk. 3) The tiny, hot and slow elevator. Terrible. 4) The annoying and loud puppet show downstairs, egged on by screaming toddlers. And until late. 5) For LGBTQ travellers: — There is nothing gay about Hotel Colon. It markets itself as such but this was not our experience. In fact the whole town markets itself as one huge gay mecca. It is absolutely not the case. Be warned. — Do not visit Benidorm in July or August (if at all). Gay Pride is in September. The place was inundated with obese, tacky, annoying English and Spanish families. Many gay places are closed for staff holidays in July and August, and there is a petty rivalry between the English / Spanish owned establishments. At best, the small amount of open options were practically empty. — The only interesting and (not exclusively) gay beach is Playa Raco del Conill (about 10km south of the centre, it says 4km in the guides…! ), will cost about €20 each way in a cab and there are no buses / trains. — Benidorm's scene is mature, unfriendly and not in shape. Ibiza it is definitely not. — It is unbearably hot.

Met up with friends here for a quick drink and it was very pleasant, would go again.

Staff were very pleasent the hotel is very clean. The reception staff were very friendly we would love to stay there again.

The hotel is very well located although parking is a nightmare. Very good cleaning and correct with the deal. The normal food. Very good relation quality price. A pity that you do not have a swimming pool!

Perfect, it was the first time that we were going. It is located in the best site. The excellent treatment. The amazing food. We liked it a lot. We will repeat.

Very good hotel for its unbeatable location with respect to the city centre and the beach. Excellent treatment by the staff of the hotel as well as a cosy, familiar atmosphere.
