Hi I got to say how great the reception ladies are on the reception they have helped me with so many things I need to do I will be coming back to this hotel because of the staff and the great location if it wasn’t for the hotel staff I would of not in joy myself 10/10 hotel and the reception staff. Hotel must inform Customers, swiming pool is closed. Private Beach? Where? We dont see it!
So you can choose another hotel if you want. Poor and bad qualitat breakfast. Services and hotel in general are not in acordance with 3 start category
I don't recommend Hotel Albahia Alicante.

Stayed here for 3 nights cant fault anything at all. I read the other reviews and I was ready to change hotels but thought its 3 stars can it be really that bad? answer no not at all yes it's a walk to alicante but the pathways are very safe and such a easy walk we also visited San Juan beach 10 mins bus ride for 2 euros. The hotel is based inbetween both and with the bus and tram very easy to get around. Breakfast is basic but we think that's all you need really. The rooms are comfy and overall the hotel is spotless. For a short stay I would recommend. The outside back area could do with some work but I wouldn't say it would put me off coming again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent service and friendly helpful staff.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming, even got upgraded to a sea view and balconied room at no extra cost. A lovely bright and airey room it was too! Nice location, just a 30 — 40 minute walk along the coast to Alicante itself, or you can take the tram. All positive from me!

Very clean hotel, rooms are a good size. The reception staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect to get to the beach only 10 minute walk. The tram is only 7 minutes away and is perfect to get places and the bus it just up the hill both are regular. Breakfast buffee is also good a good few choices. We had bed and breakfast so was worth it and the hotel is a really good price. The view of the sea is lovely!

The accommodations we're great. The food was awesome. The staff are absolutely phenomenal. My wife and I went there for a room and left with lifelong friends and memories.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, the value for money is unbelievable. Okay the pool area isn’t the best but the beach is nearby. I’d happily pay more for this hotel.

We spent part of our honeymoon there, the rooms are spacious, clean and even better when you get the a room with Balcony. Staff are very nice and friendly. It has a lovely beach near by so it’s worth it…

Xcellent value. 3 minute bus ride to alicante marina.

There should be a bus stop outside the hotel at the front and one top off the bank. Hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. But not good for disabled people and it’s too far from the centre off Alicante. The hotel should have entertainment on at least twice a week. The pool should be open most off the time in the year.

Tragic food, didn't get the room on high floor as booked, only on first floor with no view but they moved me after while.

The hotel is fully price/quality. It's clean, it's cozy! Delicious breakfast!

When we arrived I found the reception quite helpful. Around 6 days in we noticed ants in our room all over the bathroom and when we approached the man by the name of Remmey he was very rude and accused us of leaving food in side our room and then proceeded to look through our bin to see if we had eaten in our room. Taxis are very expensive and not much near by.

Hotel is lovely spotlessly clean my only disappointment was the pool outside of hotel and quite small open limited hours. Food is ok and several restaurants close by lovely beech ten minutes walk away and tram bus to Alacante and Benidorm very handy and reasonable price. No entertainment at hotel do wouldn't suit if you like night life very quite.

This hotel looks like a prison from the outside but looks good (like the pictures! ) on the inside. The service is okay. The food was not good. It's about 3 km to the center, so prepare to walk alot. There is a buss and tram station, but I could not find it and a bit confusing how to get a ticket.

Although the façade is uninviting, the interior is not bad. Very clean rooms and very nice sea view. Unique flaws… My room like other unfortunate few if it is not sea view is on view stone wall at distance crca 5m from the window. From rhyme Rcare The noise of tram rattling from 6.00 forward…

Hotel 30 min from the City Center on foot, count €26 the airport taxi to the hotel, clean room and Nice staff, room with sea view (Supp ~ €50), bathroom with bathtub.

Looks can be deceiving! From the outside it looks like a grotty tower block, however inside it was very clean, modern and spacious. Large room with a balcony and air conditioning. Great free Wi-Fi, no problem streaming videos etc. Gym access between 9am and 11pm everyday which was free. Tennis courts and outdoor pool too. If you are on the correct side of the site you will get a sea view. The restaurant is good value. Buffet breakfast was a good mix of Continental and full cooked. Evening meals are well priced for the large portions which you get. There were only really 2 downsides which I did notice. Some rooms are below the reception and restaurant upstairs and can be noisy well into the night with people shuffling chairs around etc, and the location lacks many other restaurants etc nearby. However the new Tram system is a 10 minute walk away and is relatively straightforward to use and gets you to Alicante Town in around 10 minutes or Benidorm in an hour. If you want good value accommodation and don't mind staying out of town, then I would definitely recommend this place.

Clean and nice hotel with lovely staff! Easy to go in different part of Alicante. Is about 7 minutes by bus, to center of Alicante.

Normal. It is not too central nor does it necessarily have the best sea views. Comfortable and very good service in the restaurant and reception.

Very good value for money. It is a bit far from the center but you have the tram a 7 min walk which takes you downtown. He's in a quiet, curious place. To come to Alicante is a good option.

It is very clean and the rooms are good. The breakfast is adequate too.
The worst was the low quality of the food and dinner menu. Unfortunately, the site is very secluded and the nearby gastronomic offer is too scarce and of poor quality; With which you should take the tram to eat or dine something decent.

We have gone on Easter and all very well. I have seen it very well for Easter and weekends as it is not very big, but has a swimming pool, several tennis courts for rent and pin pon.
Staff and cleanliness very good. The dishes cooked very well. It's a hotel I would return to. That if you need a car, or you can walk a bit and take the lines 21 and 22 bus or tram.

Hotel was adequate and clean, although not many places to eat or drink. Reception staff were helpful when needed, but need to make you feel welcome.

The restaurant has an unbeatable quality price. The menu for two is brutal, do not stay hungry, includes a bottle of wine, three starters, main course, dessert and coffee for €45, which as I say, I think a very good price. The quality of the food accompanies it, fresh and quality ingredients well elaborated.

Impeccable services. Do not hesitate to take the supplement upper floors sea view to enjoy the view on the coastline from the private terrace of the room: C was really nice.
On the other hand we deplored that no member of the hotel speaks French: A pity for a country so bordering ours…

Discreet and well located hotel with public transport to Alicante. At 500 meters bus and metro. Only flaw in the restaurant with little choice.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. The staff really nice. But the distance to the centre of Alicante is quite long, about 15 minutes by bus (direct bus). The exterior of the hotel and the surroundings were a bit dissapointing. The train goes very close to the hotel and for us, the noise was disturbing on day and night time. I would recommend a sea-view room both for the view and to avoid the noise.

Great visit, All staff were great and spoke good English, with a little exploration this hotel has everything you need, it cost less than 8 to 10 euro to go into Alicante using the hotel Cabs, I even came back using local Hackney drivers for less than 7, there is a tram less than 5 minutes walk if you want public transport, you can walk to the beach 10 to 15 minutes or there is a small beach, cafe and bar restaurants just 2 minutes walk, the hotel has breakfast buffet, cafe, bar, games room, and of course tennis and the pool (not open all year round)

Excellent hotel. Very clean, very friendly and professional staff. 100%. Had an issue with a neighbouring premises, adjoined, but not property of the hotel, and they arranged a different room for us immediately. Close to tram, 7 mins walk. We both have restricted mobility and there was no problem getting g to the tram. The tram was a different matter please locate a machine on the tram to pay for your fare. We were unaware of this and as I was about to pay the guard, we were frog marched from the train, accompanied by two police officers, only to be met by two others on the platform. Had we not paid the on the spot fine if up to 100 euros, we were going to be detained. Not the best start to a well needed holiday.

Rooms are clean, bathroom and toilet ok. Restaurant in the hotel very good. Unfortunately the view from the balcony to the sea is restricted by tennis courts or the sea is not visible.

Nice hotel and really friendly staff who are keen to help if they can. The rooms are fairly spacious and comfortable and the food is great. We had the buffet breakfast each morning and the variety was amazing, I would say that the egg wasn't very nice though. You can hear the tram and cars on the nearby road however you do get used to it. Overall a very good hotel and not expensive.

Very bright Hotel with a good atmosphere and close to the beach something quite relaxing, the rooms are super comfortable and the beds great.

Good value for money and amazing views to the sea. The rooms are quite new and you will appreciate renovations in the common areas. However the bathrooms… just regular. They need updating. As a great advantage is its departure from the lower part, near the sea, next to the tennis courts. The cafeteria decent but somewhat expensive, like in all the hotels.

It is hard to find the site, and the exterior aspect is not the one they teach, since they only have two floors of hotel and there are apartments where people live. The tennis courts and the pool are shared with these floors. Inside is not bad and the rooms are pretty good.

Simple Hotel. Spacious and quiet rooms, at least weekdays, which overlook the sea and farthest from the restaurant. I don't know what the train tracks will look like. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking spaces of the hotel closed individual outside the building. Access to the hotel somewhat complex if you don't know the area.

It is a peaceful place. Close to all Alicante can offer without being in the centre. Great pool in season. Close to tram for easy travelling. Superior rooms have a great sea view. We were there in late October and it was still quite warm. Only down side is that the door key-card needed to be re-programmed every second day My fourth time there, I am a fan!

Really enjoying our stay here. Very reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is very tasty. Simple but very nice and fairly cheap. Room is very comfortable, air con, modern good shower. Perfect for a relaxing break. It's a good 20 min walk to the centre we didn't mind this at all. However if your looking for a central location it's a long way out.

Very clean and modern rooms and restaurant with friendly staff in the hotel. It is beautiful here and some lovely swimming in the sea nearby. Travel is great with a tram nearby leading into the city. The food is very good with some very tasty chicken, however, would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for finding small bugs in the salad today…

I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this hotel resort. Reason being is when we first got here staff were so unpleasant had no welcome at all just asked for our details I had pad £250 on travel republic and when we got to our room 211 it was an absolute joke. We were looking onto a brick wall our so called room was tiny I felt like I was in some sort of basement. We had a window that opened from the side and no blinds they were panels that stuck onto a ralling. We also had a massive shutter which made the room even more horrible. We went up to speak to staff who couldn't have cared less and told me to “write a review if I wanted something to change”. We then ended up paying €68.70 euro for a room upgrade which was a lot better. The next morning we went to get breakfast to get told if we weren't all inclusive we weren't allowed to eat in the dining area We then paid 7 euro to get the breakfast which was a okay the water that was serving was so arrogant asking for our room number and making sure we had already paid before even entering the dining area. The woman who dealt with us for a room upgrade told us we could have our room a litter longer because we paid extra to then be told by another member of staff that we had 12pm to cheek out on the 21st of September and he couldn't help us at all. The hotel food was average but expensive. The hotel is a 40 min walk to Alicante Center no way you could walk this the roads are crazy and no walk way path.

Excellent service in this hotel, our room was cleaned immaculately everyday. Natalia from the restaurant was amazing and made our visit fun she is a credit to the company. Good location great beach 10 mins away. Restaurant food was delicious thanks Danny. We would definately go back. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean hotel, good breakfast and large pool. Only downside on outskirts of Alicante and 7 minute walk to tram but this reflects the price.

Good service and the hotel rooms have a nice view over the ocean but the windows for the room are not sound proof. You can hear people laugh/talk loudly and when scooters/cars drive bye. Also it is hard to park near the hotel because it's always crowded with cars and it's a very tight road to the hotel.

Excellent 3 stars for service and structure. If you want something just outside the center.

Cozy, located a few steps from the sea.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of choice for brekkie and a 3 course evening meal for €12! Really good Wi-Fi and plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee tray available on request. It is a bit out of the way bit that just encourages you to expand your horizons! L1 tram takes you all the way to benidorm or the other way into alicante (mercado stop) the shop at the end of the street has lots of stock and is really handy. Recommended.

Location away from the center Very nice structure but if you ask for a double you will find two beds united which if you are not careful you find yourself sleeping on the ground in a heartbeat! Breakfast Affordable prices.

Walls are so thin I could hear person snoring in the next room!

Rather than correct hotel to spend a few days with family.
Easy access, economic and very close to the city centre.

It has n door public transport Asia aunq this outside the village is well located, renovated recently, quiet and good on attention.

Rooms perfect, complete and clean; necessary to navigate by car, difficulty of parking in summer, good price. Only unpleasant thing is that we were on the ground floor and up to the room which was perfect, had to travel a long Hall, old, poorly decorated, it smelled to closed and was hot… it was pretty claustrophobic and think that it worsens the good image that the rest of the hotel offers.

When I read criticism, I think that bad and I've booked in this hotel, but after having been I can say that the breakfast that someone said four not that, nothing, pastries, oven and non-industrial, food well-made and fresh, friendly staff with great kindness, as often happens in some forums, the opinions I think that are the fruit of your emotional state (are never objective, and if subjective). To go with children I would not recommend it, but one must know how to choose as in cars, whether mountain or road, sports, or todocaminos.

The Buffet breakfast is limited and little varied, the coffee is good name if terrible, clean very well the room for 4 people we were a bit low but there was still enough space to move around. Has free Wi-Fi but limited to 3 devices once connected these 3 devices won't allow you to connect any more even if you disconnect 1, the quality of the Wi-Fi is acceptable by pulling it to low as there are cuts sudden signal, and the speed is not that is amazing it allows you to read mail and little more.

Excellent hotel but why does the swimming pool close at the end of September?

Quality/price very ben. We spent a week in alicante staying at this hotel. It has been our base camp to visit the northern beaches of Alicante and the interior of the province that had recommended to us trying to get out of the areas most overcrowded. The hotel a success. The rooms have been refurbished recently and are go large and quite cosy. Everything very clean, thing that "exhaustive control" of my girl. The attention at reception very good, in addition I was recommended a couple of sites to visit that were a success. It is well-connected because near passes a train with which you can go to the center of Alicante and also takes you to the beaches. The perfect breakfast. Each day was different, something that is appreciated with long stays … in order that very well.

I will be very clear 1 — bad food, just the breakfast is good and not only the food is not at all good if you serve the same already heated to the dinner. 2 — is not a three star hotel, as much one, floors are a community made hotel and the swimming pool is communal, luckily the residents of the community are very pleasant and friendly. 3 — the room is more or less decent but with a tele old and not more than 4 channels from the DTT. 4 — the positive points would be that the attention is good, the waiters are friendly and do what they can in what they apparently tell their superiors and that the room despite being the most economical had a view of the sea.

I had a very good time staying here. The rooms are spacious and quite luxurious for affordable prices. The buffet for breakfast was plentiful and really good. The view on the sea from the room or the cafeteria is a nice bonus and gives the impression to be on holiday even while on business trip. It was really nice. Thanks to the staff's members for their disponibility and professionalism! Keep going on like this!

The breakfast pesimo. The toast was a dash split in half cold and with a hair of a waiter or the redhead (a maid in charge of the bar by the way) know-it-all that campaba waving the hair by the bar. The cafe is cold and the coffee with milk but cold is still all of that€ 4 and peak throughout a theft.
