It was a few days ago, it was only for one night since the flight did not leave until the next day and the ferry services were canceled due to the high swell to Gomera. We have paid 90 euros for 2 people with breakfast in a double room. That was 2007, we got a small hose line room with court view, TV defective and worn out. It was probably simply taken advantage of our situation even though enough was free. The breakfast (buffet), on the other hand, was really good, enough choice also local specialities. We preferred to end the evening with a few cool Doradas, then we went to sleep.

Super nice staff, good food, hotel built straight into the sea. Only recommended.

We stayed here on the July weekend of the Médano night race as it is at the hepick of the test. We've been going for three years. The views of the apartments facing the beach are very nice. The rest, those who face the street do not have this privilege. The rooms are ok, they have comfortable beds, tv, free internet connection with a code that they provide on arrival, at the hotel reception. The bathrooms in some rooms are very cramped but there are others that are great. In the rooms where I have stayed there is a bathtub, I have not seen any with shower. The water pressure is exaggeratedly optimal. The breakfast buffet is perfect, they do not abuse junk food, pastries, etc. But at dinner we've always found it a little sparse. Room prices are not cheap, at least at that time.

The hotel is small. For a 3 star very good: tasty food (despite the small dining room has a choice), the rooms are spacious and clean. There is a pier and a descent to the sea. To the beach to descend 2-3 min. Good location.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is up to the guest to fulfill every wish. The room service comes every day and makes its work very thoroughly. A star must be deducted, as the food tastes somewhat (little spices), but after 3 days you will know the whole menu. Wanted to say that the food could be more varied. Every day there is at least once rice. Noodles always in a different variation. Fish is always the same, but always in a different variation. Otherwise the hotel is very good.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very expensive.

I can't understand the good reviews here. Room absolutely loveless and bald with cold hospital light. Beds as with the Bundeswehr. Food is an absolute disaster. In the morning bun that taste three days old, in the evening almost everything cold. Next to the Buffett stands a microwave to make your food warm. Where is there such a thing? Drinks in the evening are not included and cost more than in any restaurant here. Absolutely unkind staff. The sea location is beautiful, but you can't sleep with the window open. Far too loud! Even with the window closed, the noise is extremely loud.
We only ate outside, very annoying for the money but then you could at least eat decent.
We would never visit this hotel again.

Very beautiful location, directly OUT the sea, you have a wonderful view of the water and the lively center of Médano. Three (Spanish) star hotel from the 60s. Not a luxury, but that's a good thing. The staff is natural, not an elaborate charm, all can be sufficiently English, many also German. One is here close to Médano and the locals, no pure holiday area, urban, friendly, age-mixed. The place is very child-friendly, great for families. A more wonderful holiday with a lot of rest.

Great rooms and location. Nice terrace and lobby. Awesome views from balconies. Terrible (! ) food, bad coffee, totally overpriced drinks. Mixed service staff. Some friendly, some don't know how to behave towards customers. If something goes wrong, instead of an apology you get justifications and explanations why it's actually your (the guest's) fault.

It doesn't get any worse. Despite booking with sea views, we got one of the shabbiest rooms. The window goes to the terraces of the neighbors and is located between the restaurants. Opening windows is not possible due to the smokers next door and if you want to have your peace and quiet (which is due to the two restaurants right in front of the window or. Under one is not possible at all), you have to close the curtains because the neighbors look directly at the bed. The room, with its bare walls and linoleum, resembles more of a cell. After all, there is a bed, a chair and a small table. But that probably exists in every prison, too. Complaints are noted, that was.

Location and service are great. The rooms are nothing special but still clean. Depending on the room location, more soundproofed windows would be desirable. When eating, there is a daily change of food.

Super nice service hotel is a bit older but very clean and the food is great. Highly recommended also because of the direct beach location. Very child-friendly. We would come back anytime.

Great views and location. Crashing waves at night were loud but awesome. Appeared clean but room was sparse. Wi-Fi stable but slow so used 4g most of time. Safe cost extra. No fridge or kettle in room just hair drier. Hotel bar closed at 9.30pm though and during a couple of the evening meals no drinks were included free, forcing you to pay. Note; El Medano itself is a little off the excursions route so some advertised trips may only be available for pick up on certain days, despite the brochure in reception saying otherwise. El Medano always first to pick up and last to drop off making long days.

Very peaceful, we had a room with a sea view. Perfect. Food isn't very good for children but there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Amazing location with nice rooms, good price with two meals. On the other side, it is not soundproof at all with terrible windows.

Hotel 3 * * *, in the center of a small cozy town and on the ocean with an outdoor terrace of the Hotel café, built directly above the water.
Located on the edge of a small central square of the town of El Médano and a beautiful little beach-a favorite place of the inhabitants of the island of Tenerife.
There are very few tourists here, so come here after work native inhabitants of the island from nearby villages to relax with families and spend the evening in a vpokojnoj and cozy atmosphere.
Around the square a lot of cozy cafes and restaurants where you can eat for every taste.
Easily accessible from the South Airport, it is easy to reach any famous and popular amusement parks of the island by public transport.
Every week, in the evenings, the city arranges magnificent holidays (folklore performances, foam shows for children and young people, etc. ) AK for own residents and for guests of the town.
A wonderful place to plunge into the real Spanish life of the Islanders.
A great place to spend your holidays in a quiet and cozy environment.

Sea Sun Wind Beach downtown hotel and all this in one place.

The hotel is located in the heart of El Meda, near the beach. The hotel is a bit old, but if not to fault, it is quite. Every day is crowded, in the evening on the square can be holidays. There are many restaurants and bars around. Not a boring place.

Good hotel for surfers.

The location of this hotel is unique, one of the most unspoiled Canary places of Tenerife, El Medano, the building is partially built over the sea. Back on the terrace you hear the clapping of the waves among themselves, climbed the steps into the water and can swim immediately go. Class!

Nice hotel, located directly on the ocean, on the birthday brought a bottle of expensive champagne with a card of congratulations from the Manager. Of the downsides of a lot of retirees from Europe and no Russian)

First stayed here in March 1987. Been coming back once or twice a year since then.

This place smells bad. The food is horrible. The place looks cheap. Only one plus, the service is nice.
