Great hotel for the Centro zone.

A very central hotel, at the end of the castle street, an old pedestrian shopping street. It has comfortable rooms and a bathroom also very complete. The breakfast is quite good and the hotel is very friendly. Parking available on payment, only drawback is that it is with elevator.

Fui al ático a tomar algo, era aproximadamente las 00:30 y ya no sonaba la música pero había buen ambiente para una buena conversación. Quizás había un exceso de humo pero para los fumadores esta genial.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't forget to visit her penthouse.

Urban Hotel. Accessible and with the style of the NH chain.
The Terrace Bar offers an out-of-the-ordinary view of Santa Cruz. Especially recommended at night.

This is a fairly long review so I just want to start by putting up some useful advice to drivers: if you are arriving by car and plan to use the hotel car park I strongly advise you to put the address ‘Calle Del Gral. Gutierrez’ into your sat nav – this is main street that runs parallel to the hotel just before the pedestrianised street, and access to the hotel is down one of the smaller side streets (just drive slowly and you’ll see it). If you just put the ‘NH hotel’ into your sat nav then it absolutely will try and direct you down the pedestrianised streets. Of course I 100% recommend that you DO NOT try and park here but I will cover that later in this review…. So, this is a nice hotel but I would not under any circumstances stay here again, which is a real shame because it has a lot of very good qualities: the hotel room was modern, clean and spacious, the staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. It’s in a great location to explore Santa Cruz and is close to the main attractions. But there 3 reasons why I would not stay here again: 1. Firstly, in the hotel room the smoke alarm is directly over the bed – it is situated on the ceiling directly over the pillows above your eyes where you lie down to sleep. The smoke alarm is fitted with 2, very bright red, LED lights. These lights flash on and every five seconds, 24 hours a day. These lights in a dark room are incredibly bright and you can see the flashing through your closed eyes.

Also highlight the attic where you can see the dusk and have a drink until 2 pm with very good atmosphere.

I was on the terrace they have and the truth is Q I loved it. The drinks at €6 and the spectacular site.

Traditional NH Hotel. Modern, very central. Very nice staff. Recommended.

(upgrading my review from 1 to 2 stars because the hotel replied to my review) Horrible experience. I am not too picky when it comes to hotels, for me it's about location, location, location! Nevertheless, I must say that this one pushed my patience to the limit, but let's start… Great staff, perfect location and good hard mattress those are the positives that must me retained. My first bad experience was with the room service because it's brought to you without a covering dome, which made me thing that it had been exposed to basically everything on the way to my room from people sneezing in the elevator, hairs etc. As I started eating it seems that the pasta had pieces of spaghetti from a previous cooked dinner which led me to believe that the pasta is cooked in the same cooking water as previous dinners and thus I got the cooking left-overs from someone else. Went to bed to find my linings had human hair (obviously from someone else) still on them… Now, despite all that, the worst was yet to come. I was unable to sleep AT ALL the whole night. It seems that it's impossible to switch off the air conditioning and it's noisier than the ones I had back in 1980. Out of utter desperation at 4am I actually took the room card out to see if without electricity it would stop but that didn't work.

Nice room, in a quiet position third floor window opening to the city centre, I need no light coming from outside and that's it, perfect night we have had.

Nice clean rooms with air conditioning, very good hard mattresses and two different pillows. Welcoming staff and extra plus for water and fruit in the lobby. Only drawback is occasional noise from the streets, but not a problem. Did not try the breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location to walk to a lot of good historic sights. The hotel is nice and the food is good. Laundry service is expensive so bring plenty of changes of clothes.

It was a lovely staying. All the staff working there was really polite and they cared and worried about everything. The location of the hotel is really good, downtown, and you can go walking wherever you want. There are plenty of restaurants and nice spots around that you can go visit. The room was really modern, well decorated and very clean. There was enough space for everything I brought with me and the views were okay. As I said before, the location is good but I give it 4 stars because of it, since there was too much noise at night, especially on Saturday. But for the rest, the hotel was very good. I recommend it.

The hotel is centrally located, but their customer service is poor. A bottle of 50 cl of the mini-bar costs 3, 50€, an authentic robbery. On leaving the hotel, I realized that had left me something important in the room. I tried to contact by phone and no one responded, I wrote an email to your email address and 5 days later have still not been answered. And that trip was work and the company tends to stay there. I do not want to imagine with other customers.
