This was our first time at this hotel we usually stay along the road. As this was booked last minute and the price was not much different we decided on this one. First impressions very good lots of chrome mirrors and marble. Check in was quick and easy and a porter took our bags to the room. Rooms very basic for a 5 star. We knew this already through previous reviews and had come prepared, cups and a kettle. Plenty of hangers for clothes and English channels on the TV. There was a bit of a musty smell initially when we opened the door to our room, so maybe our room hadn't been used in a few days but after a while this disappeared. Beds are 2 single and mattresses quite firm. There is a socket in the wardrobe so we used this for charging our phones as the cable could reach the beside table. Safe and fridge was free. Bathroom a bit dated and the shower was quite hard to regulate. Pool was lovely and although very busy we did not have a problem getting a sun bed no matter what time of day. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is buffet style and there is something for everyone. Eggs can also be cooked to order. I understand that a refurb of the rooms are due soon. May I suggest memory foam mattresses, walk in rain showers, tea/coffee making facilities and also contempory decor. This would truly make the hotel 5 star. I asked for a late check out on our last day and was charged 10 euros per hour.

To be honest absolutely beautiful hotel perfect for kids great pool and amazing kids club with fantastic staff. However room noise quality is at zero. We stayed in 3044 the noise from the bar across road was horrendous going on until 2 in morning as loud in room like a club! No exaggeration. Next was early morning deliveries breaking glass and people been very loud. I went away for a break but felt I didn't get a decent nights sleep. So if booking this hotel book pool side.

Super hotel for families, with kids club, great indoor and outdoor playing area and evening kids discos it makes it so easy for parents to keep the little ones entertained! A little gift including kids toiletries and bath toys plus a cute toddler bathrobe in the bathroom on arrival was a nice surprise. Rooms are little dated but we hardly spent any time there so all in all good value for money.

This hotel, or hotels are great. We stayed for 5 nights and the facilities pool and entertainment were all good. The only small let down was the rooms and interior decor, which although spotlessly clean, were a little dated. I imagine when this was built, it was stunning You can use both hotel pools, the Cleopatra is a bit quieter, but not as big, the hotel has a back door right to the beach, which has a night bar, great at sunset in July.

Not stayed in any rooms or tried the breakfast/dinner. You have access to he hotel facilities if staying in any of the other sister hotels (The Cleopatra or Sir Anthony) as I was staying in the Cleopatra hotel. We would venture in to the Mediterranean Palace for lunch. Or at night the live music. The hotel is lovely. Nice clean and inviting. Great customer service and staff. Excellent to have a change of scenery or walk through another hotel to see what it has on offer aswell. Highly recommend staying in any of the Mare Nostrum hotels.

The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are old and the bed is particularly uncomfortable. Claiming, however, have partially resolved. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. There is almost everything but Nutella is missing! If they redid the rooms would be the top. The cleanliness is good. The sea view room is covered by the nearby hotel. You can use the swimming pool of the adjacent Cleopatra Hotel.

Very large hotel, with nice swimming pool, possibility to go to the hotel next door and use the whirlpool. Breakfast buffet where you can find everything from salty to sweet, cooked to raw, hot and cold drinks. The rooms are a bit outdated but they are redoing.

The hotel is fine, all very clean, the staff great, a hotel to take the kids from very small, lots of activities for them. The less will be the food, buffet with a lot of dishes but you just have to eat the fresh cooked at the moment to the grill, the salads and vegetables, the other prepared dishes are not from a hotel of this category.

Very good hotel for the money. Good food. Great location. We had a room with a view of the sea. And plumbing and furniture. The pool was very well-made. The cleaning is normal. No complaints.

Please don’t go here if you are elderly or have young children. Where do I start: No hot running running water. Electric plug in room sparks when touched Pool area filthy Breakfast is massively sub standard. I had continental breakfast, with hard boiled egg. The eggs totally raw I will go back in shortly to demonstrate to see if any improvement. Expresso, not to everyone’s taste but if it is ans you want to taste it in Spain this is not the place. It was just a small cup of very week tepid nastiness. All the above complained about as they occurred but nothing done to fix any issues. Hotel staff are great at empathy and saying sorry but won’t do anything to assist. I was paid to stay here one night on business and I will recommend the company never use it again. I am looking forward to checking out. A side note: people leaving the breakfast room including a child were saying they felt unwell and wanted to go to their room. I feel fine, I didn’t eat or drink anything.

The place is OK ware many times in Las Americas The hotel is old and well-kept the proximity to the sea makes it expensive in the whole complex 1600 room ware always in Noelia sur or La siesta on the other hand this is a disappointment there is only expensive or cheap the middle class has fallen away but For a sun in winter for 2 2800 euros for 11 days Hotel Bad Sun Heavenly.

Lovely family place to visit. Very family orientated. Activities all day and night. Great choice of food and located right on the beach. Only downfall is bedroom could be bigger and very few sockets to charge phones/iPads/watch (only one in bedroom).

This hotel is a large complex of about 525 rooms. Service was very good and amenities are numerous. Undoubtedly when this hotel was first built, it would have been impressive. I rated it a 4-star as it is getting older and little details such as room furnishings, cracking parging on balconies, etc. Are in need of a repair/replacement program. Location is very good in front of the beach and on the Golden Mile of shopping and restaurants. One surprise was that one could here our neighbour, even though the walls are concrete. I would consider other hotels if I were to come back but would not rule out staying here again, if that was deemed the best option.

A very comfortable hotel in all respects. There is a football field with kids in mini football to play.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had basic room, was clean. Bed not the comfiest but slept well nonetheless. Had loads of choice for breakfast but found 'hot food ' not so hot, wasn't that impressed but there is plenty to choose from, doubt one would go hungry. I would definitely stay here again despite the cold baked beans!

Quiet, smart, clean, fabulous staff, especially Claudia in the restaurant. We will be returning next Xmas. Rooms are a little tired and dated, but still comfortable. According to staff it is scheduled an upgrade in 2019.

We stayed 7 nights and we got very expensive for the quality I had, in the pictures it looked very good the room but once there was something else. Had no double bed, they were two mattresses of 90 glued, cheap platelet floors, the sliding doors of the terrace did not close, and everything in that style, not to return.

The hotel has an unbeatable location and the facilities according to the prices it has. The food very good and the staff no complaints.

Just arrived yesterday staff at reception extremely nice. Unfortunately our room was smelly and definately in need of a make over. Cleaning lady arrived with very over powering disinfectant but I think it has done the trick or our noses have just got used to the smell. Going for breakfast now hope my reviews on it will be good.

Old and usual was nice often in Las Americas but such a bad hotel I have never seen was always in Noelia sur or La Sietas was much better looking even so old roomy rooms which say 5 stars in catalog 4 was here already everywhere but that is really so bad was Sch Ön 14 times in Tenerife such a bad hotel I would never even 2 stars where I once was were better.

All the facilities are very nice, the staff is muuuuuy Nice and it is perfect to go with children. The only regular are the rooms that are not very large and need some updating, in the bathtub especially and the mattresses, which are a bit crushed. But otherwise they have been a spectacular holiday and if we can repeat next year!

Quite a nice hotel I'm not too sure if the rooms were up to scratch considering how modern they look on the advert. The staff were friendly and helpful but the maids who clear the rooms don't do a thorough job as wee needed to leave the towels out in an obvious place for them to be replaced and couldn't understand why at the poolside kids couldn't play with beach balls or lylows in the main pool area you got a life guard blowing whistle every minute which was annoying… let the kids have fun for heaven sakes.

Good value for money. Location is great — walking distance to "Los Cristianos" and "Playa de las Americas". Pool is large and fun. Also, there's an option to use the more quite pool of the nearby hotel (Cleopatra palace). The staff is super nice. Rooms are not so big. Old but very good maintenance. Breakfast has lots of options, but it's a mess — Table cleaning is very slow. Food refill is slow. Coffee machines often not working. And generally, the food is just OK. Very kids friendly — a large kids club with lots of facilities, daycare and very friendly staff. Besides the breakfast, all is very good and worth the money.

Total disappointment, dirty rooms, old furniture and Detereriorados, and the worst of all lack of professionalism and efficiency on the part of the management to give a quick and effective solution to the customer.

A nice facility, unfortunately the rooms and some other long have not been refurbished. Breakfast is a standard buffet with plenty of choice. Really pleasant is the proximity to the beach! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Tried to book twin bed room I was unable to do so on line called the hotel direct I was told I could do so when I arrived. On arrival I informed reception I was passed on to a manager and was informed I could only receive the 25% discount if booked on line. I will not be staying there in the future.

It is rated 5 stars but they are only 2 there is no entertainment and lunch and dinner poor is the second time I come and it is always worse. Do not come positive note is the location.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location, very nice common places, pool gardens direct access to the Playa, the evening exit from the hotel and daydreams, the top N. 1 kalill.

Great hotel, right by the sea, access from the large swimming pool, entertainment and evening shows with dance floor. Great breakfast, abundant food in the evening, always grill available. It overlooks the Playa Camison, South Tenerife Playa de las Americas, the Movida of the island.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Mediterranean Palace. Yes rooms need update and our TV was old but it had more British channels then we have had elsewhere. Hotel is very clean, staff were without exception very friendly and helpful. When we requested a mattress topper it was done in hours. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice and dishes cleared quickly. Only complaint, bacon and fried egg were not very hot though there was a microwave. We are already planning to return.

My wife and I had a really great time here! We usually do not do beach trips like this, but we were really happy with our rooms, the hotel, location, and the service. We had the pool view the first two nights, then the ocean view the last three nights. The latter was really amazing! The crowd is a bit older and family oriented, but it didn't make a difference. David at the front desk was awesome … beach right outside the front door and it's the best beach in the area.

Old Fashioned rooms but however the events organized, the pool, the bar, the restaurant and the football pitch make it become a luxury hotel.

Excellent resort for families and elderly folks. Good child care and child entertainment facilities. The pool is lovely with options for kids and adults. There were aqua dance and gymnastics, foam parties, baby discos and live music parties all within the resort. Beach is just outside the resort. Broad choice of food, taste can be improved. Limited vegetarian options. Well located resort, several restaurants and shopping area right outside the resort. We also saw mobility scooters that could be rented. Friendly and warm staff.

Very central. On the odd occasion it rained could sunbathe laid on our room bed indoors. One very niggling problem, no toilet brush. Easy access to practically everything you could need, sea, beach, shops, cafes, restaurants, Pub strip, good fun every night in, Highland Paddy, very good MC (Craig) and bar staff, all in all, a very usefull and friendly hotel. At a very central location, within walking distance to outstanding bars and restaurants and even main bus station of Playa de las Americas. There's a huge swimming pool with a gateway to the popular beach.

It was always a landmark of architecture in the area, I recommend its large swimming pool, and sea views, very relaxing.

A daily maid service. Great Breakfast. If you want you can buy vouchers for dinner for 21€. If 3 and more with discount. For example on 5 days, dinner is 15€ per person Friendly staff. Also speak Russian (who cares) at the front Desk, ordering tour. Travel. Excellent location of the hotel. Pool. 50 meters of the ocean. Lived on the 4th floor with ocean views. Generally speaking, all liked it.

Vacation At The Beginning Of September 2015 The "5 star hotel" was 25 years ago built. As a result the buildings are worn, old, and, under no circumstances will the category 5 stars is fair. The doors clang close and hard, the fittings, the wiggle, Elt installation is very old and may not work, lamps anrostet, no Nachttischübe,! Conclusion: in an old "Lärmhöhle" we do not come back.

All correctito, food good, rooms corrientuchas… The negative: we Rented bikes from the hotel, and they were SHATTERED… we're going, that we had to return on foot, and we had to pay them equally.

To be a five-star hotel rooms look like a hostel that if outside and dining room give a score eight.

We had a room with a plunge pool on the balcony. It meant we didn't bother with the main pool as we had privacy and peace. The main pool seemed lively and the area around it was clean. The hotel is located well, with easy access to the beach, eateries and shops. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was great and the dining hall ran efficiently. As said in some of the previous reviews, the hotel is a little dated but we had flat screen TV's in our room and free Wi-Fi. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would visit again in the not too distant future.

I booked this hotel just because we wanted to freeze for the first time threesome with our almost 1 1/2-year-old son. My criteria preserve stand location (our little has light Neurodemitis and sea water is better than chlorinated water), child care/food and a nice playground. Of course, the hotel should be also clean and quiet. But here the problems started. The room is well just for 25 years not renovated, the balcony door allows any noise if the neighbors so most balcony smoking and chatting until 2 o'clock in the night then one can understand every word with the door closed, these were not loud but only an older couple that enjoys his vacation. Are other shortcomings: rust stains in the bathtub, calcified faucet, splashes of color by repainting from before 10 years, old shower curtain, etc. Just 25 years not really renovated but just about wiped. Other disturbing factors are everyday animation was by the pool to the two hours and it was whether probably one which was located in the far corner of the plant to the scream out loud. This flaccid yes some kids in their prams or chairs by the pool. Once in this week there was a disco on the pool until 23:30 is also disco in the room because the closed door by any noise. Once gave this week there was the entertainment day that raucous music all day of course means you can into the next to hotel beta that is, but go to the Pampers around 15 minutes walk.

Currently my second night. Definitely not a 5 star but could pass for a 4 star. I see what others mean about it being dated. Old bath, old TV, cracked tiles. Other than that and being unable to use the safe it is nice. Pools are nice except people reserve the sun beds all day long and never go there. Best to hide their towel so they lose their deposit on it (tehehe). Nearly forgot to mention that the "mountain view" rooms actually face another hotel, no mountain in site! Nothing to do with the hotel but be careful of nearby shops, they may try to confuse you to part with more money than you expected.
