B&B La Atalaya

The hotel does not have its own parking; however, there is a public parking lot 250 meters away outside the historic center, where spaces are usually available. Guests are permitted to drive up to the hotel for up to 20 minutes to unload luggage, after which the car must be moved to the parking lot. The staff warns of potential municipal fines if this parking limit in the center is exceeded.

The hotel staff is described as very friendly, attentive, professional, and hospitable, with many guests rating the service a 10 out of 10. The front desk staff (particularly Melisa and Ligia) assist with recommendations for exploring the area and ensure a comfortable stay. Please note that the front desk is not open 24 hours a day, so guests are provided with keys and an emergency contact phone number for the night.

Breakfast at the hotel is described as very delicious and satisfying; for some guests it was provided complimentary, while for others it was offered for 5 euros. Breakfast can also be served directly to the room. However, one guest described the breakfast as mediocre, noting that it was unimpressive.

The hotel is renowned for its generous thoughtful touches: upon check-in, rooms often include a bottle of wine, water, candies, or chips. In addition, some visitors were offered complimentary drinks at nearby café-bars or traditional pastries (such as txantxagorri cake). Many guests noted that such details create a cozy, home-like atmosphere.

The rooms are generally described as clean, cozy, and spacious, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. Upper-floor rooms with terraces and lovely views of the square and the castle are especially recommended. At the same time, there were complaints about a lack of electrical outlets (plugging in the refrigerator may cause a lamp or radiator to not work), as well as one room with a "mediocre" bed.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating that operate effectively even in severe heat. However, one guest noted the use of black electrical tape on a white air conditioning unit to secure the louvers. There are also complaints that hot water in the shower runs out too quickly, and in one case, an issue with the toilet flush chain was reported.

The majority of guests rate the cleanliness as spotless, calling the rooms "impeccable." Nevertheless, one review mentions a problem with water leaking from the shower stall, causing large puddles to form in the bathroom.

The hotel does not have an elevator, which may be inconvenient for guests with limited mobility or when carrying heavy luggage up the stairs. Upon check-in, guests may be offered a ground-floor room for added convenience.
