Iraipe Izaga Hostal

Yes, on-site parking is available, including an underground garage. Guests note that there are plenty of spaces and finding parking is easy. However, one guest mentioned that parking may incur an additional fee (€10).

The staff is generally described as very friendly, professional, and accommodating, with special mention often given to team members named Inés and Alejandro. However, the front desk is not staffed 24/7, and no personnel are present after 11:00 PM. This can cause difficulties with late check-ins, as key cards may fail to work and the emergency phone line may be unreachable. There have also been complaints regarding poor coordination between staff and management when handling refund requests.

The hotel has a restaurant and café where guests can have breakfast and dinner. Opinions on the breakfast are mixed: some guests find it tasty and of good quality, while others consider it very basic and repetitive, mentioning only croissants, bread, budget cheese, and ham. Breakfast costs around €8, which some guests feel is too high. The three-course dinners receive positive reviews and cost between €12 and €18, though the café may be closed on weekends.

Cleanliness at the hotel is rated very highly. Guests frequently mention that both the guest rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean, and daily housekeeping is carried out efficiently. The public areas are also well maintained.

Rooms are described as functional and spacious, with modern bathrooms. The beds are generally comfortable, though some guests have complained about overly thin pillows. The main issue is poor soundproofing: conversations, shouting, and noise from neighboring rooms as well as people in the corridors can be heard. Amenities include air conditioning and TVs, though there are occasional complaints about malfunctioning equipment and awkward TV placement relative to the bed. A hairdryer is available upon request at reception.

The rooms are equipped with both heating and cooling systems. Most guests are satisfied with the air conditioning; however, there are occasional reports of breakdowns or insufficient cooling in some rooms. One review mentioned that the unit only operated on heat mode, making the room uncomfortably hot.

The atmosphere at the hotel can be inconsistent. Many guests find it quiet and ideal for resting. At the same time, there are significant complaints regarding constant noise in the hallways, children screaming, and loud music, which created an unsettling feeling for some guests. Some reviewers noted that the hotel is used as social housing for immigrants, leading to noise and disturbance during the night.

The hotel accepts pets for an additional fee of €15 per pet. Guest experiences vary: some were delighted by the staff's care in providing bowls and treats for their dog, while others felt that pet privileges were overly restricted given the extra charge.
