I stayed at this little hotel for one night whilst enroute from Bilbao to Andorra. The location is remote, however an area with historical interest. The hotel is basic nonetheless staff are helpful and very friendly. Hikers and walkers I would imagine love this setting. The room I stayed in would be a 2 star standard but it made up in charm. The day I arrived it was 32 degrees so it was a hard night with no air conditioning. Breakfast is reasonable at 10 Euros however is continental. Definitely give it a go if in the area.

Rooms are extremely dated, run down but not in a charming retro kind of way not particularly clean with black mould in shower and furniture was scruffy and chipped 90s reproduction stuff, food in the restaurant looked a bit overpriced and pretentious. The location is great for views of the castle but there isn't really anything else there, they do have an outside bar which is nice but not cheap and breakfast was rather disappointing with quite a poor choice. It seems they think it's better than it is charging 5 star hotel prices when it's not even close that would be fine if met those expectations but it doesn't come close it's rated as a 3 star but I'd say the rooms are more 1 star.
