Agora Hostel

Lovely Albergue! Very peaceful, restful, with lots of privacy with the curtains. Sometimes albergues feel like orphanages… this one felt more like a hotel with a very tiny room :)
Overall, it was immaculate and the hosts were kind and helpful! I could tell this was a passion for them to take care of pilgrims! 🥹❤️

This place is so good and it all starts with Alphonso. He greets you clearly in almost any language it seems and gives you a quick guide as to how the albergue works. The crucial balance is looking at tired pilgrims and working out what they can hear and what is clearly being missed. The boot cupboard as you come in keeps the rest of the place smelling beautifully. The next morning a mix up over sticks was quietly dealt with. Some pilgrims can lose it in the mornings, afternoon and evenings so hats off for not rising to the bait.
I'll make a point of staying here again as the mix of people on the ground floor over the course of the afternoon and evening made for a great atmosphere.
The bunks clearly work as the snorers were a lot quieter inside their cubicles. The angles of the room I was in worked very well too.
Bar Pigor one of my favourites in Estella is 3 minutes away so I grabbed a lovely bit of food before heading back for a quick chat with my newest best friend from Czechia. I wonder if he acquired the wrong stick on the morning😴.

A family-owned Albergue, in which seemingly everything has been thought through to salve the aches of the knackered pilgrim.
Spanking clean, super-chic and homely (I liked the individual ‘thrones’ for each shoe in the shoe rack), with possibly the nicest dormitory accommodation on my Camino so far.
Each cubicle had cotton linen, ready made up, with 3 lockers of varying sizes allocated to each pilgrim (NB this makes it easy to forget your bits as you’re not used to being so spoiled! ).
No clothes washing facilities, but…. For 7 euros they will wash & dry in double quick time.
BUT the star of the show here for me was the lovely, beaming Puy (whose name I have doubtless misspelled) : just so warm & kind and generally unflappable. Thank you!

One of the best hostel I stayed at on the Camino this far! Everything is new and super clean, beds are comfy and offer a lot of privacy. The manager Adriana was super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home after a long day of walking.

We are big fans of this place!
I recently had my first stay here but my wife has stayed more than once. The owners are lovely and really go above and beyond for weary pilgrims (Adri spent a load of time researching travel options for us when our bus fell through).
Yeah, fantastic place. We'll stay here again!

We stayed here 1 night in the triple ensuite while walking the Camino.
Pluses:
1. Excellent location, in the center of Estella, and on the Camino.
2. Clean, quiet, secure.
3. Fast, free Wi-Fi.
4. In-room fridge and kettle in the triple ensuite.
5. A/C.
Minuses:
1. The 2 beds in the triple are set into boxes in the wall, and it is HOT HOT HOT in the summer.
2. This is an eco-hostel, and A/C use is discouraged (which I agree with! ). But the giant windows are locked into position so they can only be cracked open. No fans are provided. It was 30C/90F, so we had to pick the lock to open the windows. Otherwise, we'd be forced to use the A/C!
3. Definitely not a Spanish-Camino ambience; more industrial/reclaimed materials vibe.

Very friendly reception and exceptionally clean rooms — I was truly satisfied with my stay! Highly recommended.

This stay in Estella was such a fantastic location for the Camino. We were close to restaurants and all of the sites we opted for a room with two bunks and a large bed. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was also quite popular for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago as I saw many people I knew staying there.
Check-in was a bit of an experience—it was a combination of harshly shushing me when trying to check in, not finding my booking initially, telling me I’d booked incorrectly, and then spending a full 60 seconds telling me off when I replied that I had provided the correct check-in info but maybe it got lost in the shushing. She later was very repeatedly apologetic. People have bad days, are tired etc. I was just most surprised at how freely she felt telling me off in very colorful words.
Given, though that everyone else had a great experience, I’ll chalk it up to her having a bad day and overall say that the location and the quality of the room were exceptional.

Thanks to your kind and dedicated help, and the perfect facilities at Agora Hostel, I was able to recover my energy and feel ready to continue my Camino. The one night my spouse and I spent at your albergue yesterday and today will be an unforgettable and wonderful memory from our Camino. If we ever walk the Camino again and pass through Estella, Agora Hostel will definitely be our choice. Thank you very much.

All was perfect, clean and lots of nice touches. Lockers and a clean blanket for €1.
Slight niggle… not allowed to use a cup and kitchen locked certain hours. Also, not the hostels fault but kids skateboarding until all house on the steps next door… window was closed to block them out.

Can't think of a single thing that could've been better. Stayed in a private room on the top floor with my kids. Everything perfectly clean and functional. Quick load of laundry for a few euro. Breakfast was just right. Staff were very friendly and had beautiful smiles. I suppose the elevator could've been faster, but maybe it was just designed to encourage taking the stairs. 😉 Would gladly stay again.

This is the best Hostel on the Camino. The rooms are very well equipped, lots of space, places to lock your stuff away. Curtains, power point and light inside each bunk bed. Proper bed sheet and pillow case. The bathrooms are spacious, there is room to get dressed and it is super clean. The hostel atmosphere is modern, organised and friendly. Everything has been considered. Towels, blanket, laundry service, hairdryer all available.

We loved our stay at Agora hostel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The curtains provided privacy and the provision of lockers was great. The bathroom facilities were clean, modern and spacious. The communal area was great for playing games and chatting to fellow pilgrims. The staff were very helpful.

The most comfortable hostel we were in along the Camino. The private sleeping rooms, the comfortable beds, the spacious toilets and showers. It seems that a lot of thought was put into the design — for the convenience of the users. Alfonso was kind and welcoming. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Everything was very organized and you got a lot of privacy. It was very clean and hygenic. And the owner Adriana was very friendly and kind.

Best sleep of my Camino. Clean showers, private like pods and everything felt new. You won’t be disappointed. Adriana was fantastic!

Fantastic place to stay on El Camino. A bit more expensive than a simple Albergue but really worth it.
Lovely private cubicles with curtains and fantastic clean big modern bathrooms — what a pleasure. Hosts Adriana and Alfonso were both lovely. Adriana did our laundry for 7 Euro and Alfonso made breakfast. Prob our best stay on the Camino so far. Very happy!
