Overall a positive experience.
The hotel is in a good location, close to cala galdana beach, supermarkets, but be aware it's up on a hill, so the walk up is difficult but with a hire car it's no problem.
The parking is limited in the hotel, we were there mid may, and the carpark was full every day, despite the hotel not being full.
The hotel reception is new and modern, with friendly reception staff, we borrowed a beach umbrella for the week from reception which saved us buying one.
The rooms were spacious, but dated, could do with a refurbishment, there was a lot of painting going on whilst we were there, but needs a bit more than that, the patio door didn't fully close, tears in the sofa, door frames peeling off the walls. The beds were also on wheels which proved to be fun.
The breakfast was good, plenty of choice for the first few days but soon gets repetitive, different fresh fruit and juice would be good.
The pool area is lovely, be aware though that the pool is only open 11-7, when the lifeguard is there, which we found to be a bit late as it was hot at 9am. There's also only 5 umbrellas, so the fight for shade begins early on in the day, plenty of sunbeds though.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful the entire time, especially Fatima who checked us in and out. Our room was a good size, comfy beds, excellent air con, fridge and utensils. No kettle but there was a microwave so we used that for tea! Good size balcony with a pull out 4 x washing line which was fab for hanging wet clothes and towels.
We stayed half board so had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice, breads, cheeses, meats, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, bacon, eggs, toast, pastries and very helpfully, non dairy milk! 2 coffee machines and plenty of tea and juice too.
Dinner was great if you are a meat eater but not so much for me as a vegetarian. There was always pasta and a weak tomato sauce on offer but the chefs put meat or seafood in everything which was really disappointing. Meat eaters can eat a vegetable based dinner too so I don't know why there was such a lack of imagination there. Having said that however, once I had asked the kitchen staff what was vegetarian (it was sometimes hard to tell by sight) I then received some special treatment as the chef would come and show me things or offer to make me a separate vegetarian meal of my own. One night the vegetable soup had a lump of meat as a garnish on top, but the chef brought me one without the meat as soon as he saw me. More vegetarian options and food labelling at dinner would make the experience so much better.

We loved the location of this hotel. But be aware if you’re not very fit or mobile as walking from the bay is quite a climb and with a short cut involving steps. But we liked this. It’s set at the top of a hill and one apartment block is next to the woodland, so it was quiet (apart from the incredible dawn chorus). Hotel is spacious and clean — beautiful pool area and there’s paddle tennis. Breakfast buffet is fantastic — almost everything to choose from. We wished we’d gone half board as the evening meal buffet was as good. Lots of different dishes — and plenty of salads and fruit.
Room was spacious for two with a twin/double room and a sofa bed in lounge area. That might be a bit cramped if the sofa bed was in use. Kitchenette was ok — no kettle but stove top coffee maker. Over bath shower was powerful. Beds comfy and rooms cleaned daily.
I would definitely go back — shame they’re closed from mid October as I’d like to go back when it’s cooler to explore the island.
