Son Corb Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Son Corb Boutique Hotel in Cala Bona during mid to late September, slightly outside the peak holiday season. The hotel’s location is lovely—nestled in a quiet area yet conveniently close to the beach and nearby attractions.
The peaceful atmosphere was one of the highlights of our stay, though we did notice some noise from nearby beach hotels on certain evenings, with bass-heavy entertainment audible in our room. This wasn’t a deal-breaker, but worth noting if you're looking for complete tranquility.
The staff was exceptional—extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself is showing its age. While its aged charm gives it character, the smell in the hallways and rooms felt a bit outdated. Opening the windows helped, but they were often closed again despite the pleasant temperatures outside. The wardrobe in our room had a musty, old smell, which discouraged us from hanging up our clothes.
Upon arrival, we did have to wait around 30 minutes for someone to assist with check-in, which was slightly inconvenient. However, dinner was a highlight! We were the only guests who opted for dinner one evening and enjoyed a personalized one-on-one service. The meal was outstanding in quality, though there was a slight mismatch in expectations—the menu mentioned grilled fish, but we were served battered and deep-fried fish.

What a joke of a boutique hotel!
I made my reservation in January because we were going to a wedding and it was a suggested place to stay.
When we checked in we were received after waiting more than 20 mins by a nasty person, she didnt have even a nice word to us besides move your car.
No help with luggage nothing.
When she showed us our room it was with separate beds and I told her thats not what I reserved and thats waasnot what I saw on the pictures, well the answer was take it or leave it thats what we have.
Not even let me send someone to put the sigle beds together and we can accomodate you. Nothing!
Best part is that they have a plug in for mosquitos that doesnt do anything.
I spent most of the time killing them as well as some spiders.
Completely unaccepatble.
The place is outdated.
To be simple do not stay there.

I had a really difficult criteria to meet for my mallorca trip. I wanted to experience a finca. A lot of the finca’s are very expensive and I needed one that’s affordable. And I also don’t drive so wanted it to be walkable to a beach. Most are in very remote locations. I researched a lot but this was one of the only fincas that met all of that!
Pros:
— Walkable to cala bona harbour and cala millor beach but still feels rural and quiet.
— Free bike hire — amazing! We used it everyday.
— Comfortable and clean rooms. Fluffy clean towels, clean bedding.
— Tasteful country house decor, amazing aesthetically, I don’t the pictures necessarily do it justice.
— Really quiet, we went early June and it felt super quiet, the pool area wasn’t busy it all. More than enough sun loungers.
— Large clean pool.
— Friendly staff — shoutout to Andrew and Isabel! Both very kind and took amazing care of us.
— They upgraded us and gave us a free wine and fruit platter.
Minor cons:
— No lock on the bathroom door, again minor but worth mentioning.
— Pool isn’t heated, little bit chilly in late may/early June.
— AC is a little bit weak. I’m not sure if we were using it wrong but it felt like quite an old AC system. Luckily it wasn’t too hot when we visited, only 24/25 degrees.
I would highly recommend this finca for the quiet rural farmlike experience but near a beach.

This was our third visit to Son Corb and once again we loved it! If you're looking for somewhere to totally switch off and relax, then this would be the perfect choice for you. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Isabel once again went above and beyond to look after us. Our room was really nice with comfy beds, quality toiletries and a good breakfast each morning with delicious fresh fruits and freshly baked breads, yoghurts and a hot choice too. Bikes are complimentary and nice to get out and about to explore. A 10 minute walk takes you to the beach, bars and restaurants, so for us it's a perfect spot to stay. Can't wait to return.

This is a special hotel. Absolutely loved the time we had here. The location of the hotel in a rural spot away from the noise and busyness of the sea front in Cala Bona and Cala Millor, was just what we needed. It is surrounded by countryside and the rooms and pool are all set in a green space, despite the hot weather. Its quiet and green; I've never been one for sitting by a pool all day, but I did that here. The staff and manager are so very helpful and so friendly, especially given we had no Catalan or Spanish. We had bikes for a day to go for a cycle — free! I definitely hope to go back. If you want modern concrete type hotel, this isn't for you but if you want a quiet space and to be surrounded by countryside, this is for you.

We loved this little oasis of calm and peace. A small family run hotel with comfortable rooms and beautiful pool area. Breakfast was good and we also enjoyed the pool bar. No restaurant for the evening but plenty of choice close by. Very attentive staff.
