Returned today from our first holiday with our 9 months old baby and what a fab time we had.
Firstly the hotel is big spread out over a few pools. We spent our pool times around the quieter pool. We had a room in block 7 room 7208 with Lovely side sea view this block is across the service road which in ten days not a single car passed by that we seen.
The hotel is spotless clean and staff seem friendly enough throughout particularly resteraunt staff who my baby loved and they interacted with him which was so lovely and kind when they are very busy.
The bar ques can be long however the staff work hard to get these down during day and night.
The food seems to be a different theme every night and was lovely. We did eat out a few times as we were there for 10 days. We are doing blw and kids buffet was perfect for this plenty options each day and my baby ate well. The snack bar available day time was good enough and a different choice each day. Ice lollies and ice creams also included lovely.
Entertainment is fab for kids and adults day and night something to keep everyone happy even my baby loved the stay and play sessions and play dates with the baby club. My baby loved the familiar toys and books from home and nice staff, he liked Melinda and zainab from baby club particularly they are a credit to tui thank you for making him feel welcome and comfortable in baby club.

Great vegan options. My wife and I were travelling with our 9 month old. We are vegan and often have to flex to vegetarian on holiday because it can be difficult to find completely vegan options.
Like the other TUI Blue hotels we've visited, the vegan options here were fantastic. There was a dedicated "vegan corner" at every lunch and dinner, as well as other vegan options scattered around. Notable options:
— oat, almond and soy milk.
— porridge made with oat milk at breakfast.
— vegetable paella.
— vegan (chicken-style) burgers.
— vegan nuggets.
— vegan bolognese (TVP)
— vegan chilli.
— seitan dishes.
— tofu dishes.
— dishes with vegan "meatballs"
— a vegan dessert fridge at every meal.
The allergens were sometimes confusing. Some items that should have been vegan had a label with every single allergen. Others seemed to randomly have fish/crustacean allergens listed. I wonder whether the kitchen was just being careful because of cross-contamination because these didn't appear to have fish or crustaceans in.
We would highly recommend this hotel to any vegans. The vegan food isn't perfect at every meal, but it's way better than the vast majority of hotels. They actually put effort into their vegan items (noted by the various vegan proteins they serve) rather than it being an afterthought like other places.
So this review has pretty much all been about vegan food, but here are some other points to note:
— there is a heated pool outside and a heated pool inside.

We stayed here for a week in September and had a nice stay. We had a nice room in block 4 above the reception which had everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was lovely and every meal was good, they make a big effort on the theme nights and some of the desserts were amazing. The food in the snack bar was equally as good in the afternoon and was fresh off the bbq. The drinks and ice creams were ok, this does show how this hotel sets its standards at 3 star, not sure why they only give out straws for certain drinks and it’s a big ask to get one, especially as they are paper!
We spent most of our time between the splash park pool and the medium pool as they were a lot quieter than the main pool. The pools were great and sunbeds available at any time of the day.
The reason for giving this hotel 4 stars is a few reasons from the staff, they are just not customer friendly. We booked the à la carte restaurant one night and was 10 minutes late due to getting the kids ready etc. When we arrived they refused us entry as we were late and apparently they had someone seating after us. The restaurant was empty though and there were lots of free tables inside where we wanted to sit, I can’t see why they wouldn’t let us in especially with 2 young kids. Other thing was we checked out at 7am and I left the pool towels in the room, yet the receptionist insisted I go back to the room to get them and return them to reception.

We traveled with our children and grand-children, 10 persons. We really enjoyed the stay!
The kids (aged 6, 5 and 3) enjoyed the kid's club. There was a Swedish speaking employee in the kid's club, which helped. They — and we — also enjojed the evening kid dance shows.
There are several pool areas, and they were never crowded. Our only complaint is that the pools did not open until 10 in the morning. That should change.
The restaurant was absolutely ok, there was different themes everyday for dinner.
For lunch we could enjoy two fantastic restaurants just outside the hotel.

Not long returned from an excellent holiday at Grupotel Mallorca Mar.
Reading reviews prior to travelling we were a but sceptical about how things might be at the hotel.
Need not have worried.
We had a fabulous holiday and loved the beautiful location 10 minutes walk along a scenic and beautiful seaside walkway to Cala Bona Harbour.
The hotel is laid out in various blocks which are across a very very quiet road from one another.
The entire place is spotless throughout and cleaning personnel do a fabulous job of keeping it this way throughout the day.
Swimming pools and grounds are beautifully landscaped and suitable for all ages including a wonderful area and pool for younger children.
One bedroom apartments are very spacious and offer every amenity possible from large fridge to kettle cups mugs and much more.
We encountered a small issue with one of the rooms however once Carmen at reception knew about it then it was speedily resolved.
We were amazed at how quickly the hotel responded to this and moreover just how professional.
Food wise. All five of us thought the food was excellent with a huge variety of hot and cold buffet and show cooking was fabulous.
Age ranges for us was 7 to 70 and I've been going to Majorca since 1970 as a young lad and was so impressed with the quality of the food on offer.
For our youngest with us the choice again was amazing and the children's own buffet was totally perfect.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful pool area. Lots of different areas to sit and relax. Food we found lovely. Entertainment very good especially the soul group. Best gin and tonics I had on all inclusive.
Staff all friendly and fun.
We had an apartment, very clean, nicely decorated comfy bed. A la carter resteraunt fabulous. I even said the light was bright over table and they took bulb out. Staff so lovely. Loads of things for kids to do. Kids pool great too. Small buffet for kids to help themselves. The hotel is also great for couples.
Used the spa. Steam room lovely.
Lovely 10 minute walk into town with bars and resteraunts.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.
Cala bona is a delightful little place.

We traveled with the family in September, and our experience at Grupotel Mallorca Mar Cala Bona met our expectations. From the very first moment, we felt we had made the right choice.
The hotel is in a fantastic location — right by the sea, surrounded by well-kept gardens, with several pools and areas that our children absolutely loved. The facilities were in great condition, very clean, and the rooms were comfortable.
The buffet offered plenty of variety, with healthy options as well as simple meals, which was a big help when traveling with kids.
We’re especially grateful for the excellent service from Ana, the restaurant manager, who was always attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. She constantly made sure everything was perfect, always with a smile.
Our kids really enjoyed the vacation, which made my husband and me happy — we’d love to return someday.

Myself, my wife and our 7 month year old son stayed here in September for 10 nights. It was our first time taking our son abroad so we were slightly apprehensive, but I can honestly say we had the perfect time at this hotel! In particular:
The staff are incredible! Polite, friendly and smiles on faces regardless of role/challenges. Particular shout out to the waiters, chefs, and Nicole and Luisa from the Baby Club who were incredible and our son loved — thoroughly recommend the Baby Club (10/10)
The food is unbelievable! Great variety and high quality. The chefs do a great job.
Clean! The hotel was spotless.
Location! Family orientated and a lovely walk with ocean view on doorstep.
Drinks — love the fact you can pour your own soft drinks, it saved sooo much time as no queuing needed.
Sunloungers — a busy hotel but always a sunlounge available.
Pools — great variety depending on what you prefer.
We had the best holiday ever and I can't thank the staff enough! We hope to return one day 😃

I booked a Tui Blue package last minute as a solo mum travelling with my seven year old. We had a wonderful week. We loved the beautiful gardens and palm trees and particularly the ‘Angel’s trumpets’ flower bush outside our block. It smells lovely at night. We always managed to get a pair of sunbeds in our favourite location — the grassy area between the main pool and the sea. We enjoyed the food and found it to be varied and well cooked. The sushi and the nacho cheese fountain were particular highlights. We loved the pool movie screening, the live music & circus trio and the silent disco. The interactive quiz wasn’t our thing so we stayed in our room instead on those evenings. The life guards were diligent, if not the friendliest and it seemed a bit random who they decided to blow the whistle at. If I had to give honest feedback I’d say I noticed the communal floors in our block weren’t mopped the week we were there and I walked over the same squashed plum for seven days and they seemed a bit stretched in the restaurant at breakfast time for cleaning up — but our room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly. I particularly liked being able to snorkel directly from the hotel’s jetty. I felt safe as a solo parent and we’d happy return.

The hotel was excellent overall, the room was lovely and spacious (we had the 1 bed apartment) so I can only imagine the 2 bed is bigger. The food option were great there was always something to choose from. We NEVER went hungry. Even my mum who is fussy found something every meal time. The staff were always happy and helpful at all times of the day. We went on a trip to the market on the Friday via the local bus which stops right outside the hotel which is very handy. We also went on the marineland trip and the pirates evening trip and would recommend both. This hotel is very family orientated and excellent for those with young children. (The only draw back for us was that my children were older 12yrs and 14yrs) but otherwise this holiday was great and lots of memories were made here.

Exceeded expectations! We have just returned from a wonderful stay during peak season with our 7yo and 4yo. This was our first family holiday. We found the hotel very clean, loved all the pools and 1 bed apt room (block 6). The hotel grounds are very attractive and all staff work so very hard. Our son has a serious allergy and Pepa and the catering team were brilliant at looking after him (Muchos Gracias Pepa! ) We loved the food for mexican night! He also enjoyed the kids club where we felt safe to leave him. Entertainment was great without being too in your face/noisy or late. We did find the lifeguards on the kids pool a little inconsistent in their rules and attentiveness. The walk to Cala Bona and/or on to Cala Millor is lovely and Cala Bona also exceeded expectations. We were very pleased with our choice of destination!

We (family of 2 adults, a 2 & a 5 year old) had a fantastic time at the TUI Blue Grupotel Mallorca Mar! It’s not the luxury of an Ikos — nor does it claim to be — however is good value for money.
The grounds are very well kept and the room looked as though it had been recently renovated. We loved the sea view from the balcony, and appreciated that you could access it from both the living room where the kids slept, and the bedroom, so we didn’t need to worry about waking the little ones to enjoy an al fresco drink once they were down!
The pools were brilliant and you were able to find loungers at any time of the day. Our favourite were by the sea — very peaceful!
The food was as expected from a Spanish all inclusive: tasty enough, if a bit repetitive. Wine, cava and mojitos were good and all the bar staff were very friendly!
Throughout our stay our children attended the baby club and kids club, including a party night, and had a brilliant time! The ladies that worked in each room were so welcoming and gave great reports of what they had been up to (including emailing pictures from the baby class! ) The children also loved the TUI Bot shows and were ecstatic to go on stage to collect their healthy eating certificates!
Location wise, we enjoyed the gentle walk along the coast to Cala Bona for some meals out, and used the bus transfer to Cala Millor for a change of scenery.
Overall, we had a great family holiday, and would recommend to those with young children.

We did have a lovely holiday but I would never recommend this hotel and it is not worth the price you pay.
Pros:
Room was fairly clean and modern.
Air con in room was good.
Daughter loved the slides and the children’s pool.
Aqua aerobics was fun and the other activities during the day seemed good.
Cons:
Food was the worst we have experienced at any all inclusive. No variety, no favour, uncooked meats, random food items that don’t go together, repetitive. We ate here for tea once and then ate out every night.
Drinks and juices are all from a machine.
Cocktails are made using the machines with an added syrup in — the worst we have experienced.
Hotel is in desperate need of repair/ upgrade. Lots of broken tiles, old furniture and decor.
Air con in main hotel building was poor and the entertainment/ main bar area was ridiculously hot on a night.
Unless you get up at 5am you will NOT get an umbrella/ sunshade. Half the umbrellas are also broken. We had to get up at 8am to reserve sunbeds nearish to the pool.
Other issues:
We were told by the rep we could have our room until 6pm on the day we check out (our transfer was 6:30) but then the hotel said they couldn’t accommodate this so we had to check out at 12. Thankfully they had a shower area we could use but this was covered in shiny floor tiles which my daughter badly slipped on despite us being ultra cautious!

Just stayed for 4 nights in July. The hotel is a large complex over 2 sites with 3 pools. The rooms are large, clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and give you the feeling nothing is too much.
You have to clear your room by 12 lunch time, as you would expect on the last day and we had a late flight out and they booked us a shower room for 6pm so we could change after the pool for dinner and get ready for our coach that evening.
This hotel is clearly a family fun location, as a couple in our 60`s we are young at heart and don't mind having lots of little ones running around playing games and having a good time in the pool, having found it we will be bringing the grandchildren back, but if you want a relaxed, chill by the pool, read a book sort of holiday, as a couple, then it is probably not for you.

The hotel itself is great. There are 9 blocks comprising the rooms, reception/restaurant and spa/kids club. There are 3 pool areas, the main pool is across the road from reception/restaurant, along with the bar/entertainment area. There is a quiter pool, and a kids pool area with slides etc.
The rooms are adequately sized with lounge, kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom.
The food is very good, but I got the feeling that there was a lot of recycling happening, which doesn't really concern me in an all inclusive resort (or else there is an awful lot of food waste). There is also a separate section for vegan requirements.
The entertainment in the hotel is very good, as it is in all Tui Blue Hotels I've been to. The team are great with the kids.
The app is brilliant. You can plan your day and book kids into kids club (which our daughter loved! )
The only downside to our holiday, was a sickness bug that went around. We all got it, and it was not pleasant, but obviously there's not a lot the hotel can do about that.
All in all, it's a fab hotel and we had a great time.

Honest review from someone who isn’t a hotel snob & is easily pleased…
ROOM.
We had a studio room and was very impressed as we had 3 beds! Little kitchen area with kettle microwave hob ect. Rooms was cleaned everyday.
Wardrobe space only 7 hangers and 4 shelves not enough for 3 of us. Had ants in our room a couple of times told cleaner first time and then dealt with them myself second time.
FOOD/DRINK.
Always something for everyone on the All inclusive but there was a lot of fish and i’m not a fish fan. Kids variety was not great i’d expect nuggets/fish fingers ect but some nights was fish stew ect. Overall good food choice always pizza pasta ect.
ENTERTAINMENT.
Was really disappointed with this, they did aqua aerobics around the pool (not for kids) and brought robot or dinasours around for like 10 mins.
Night time entertainment was poor, did like 45 mins for kids then it was adult quizzes ect. Not ideal when you’ve got 7 children with us who need to be entertained.
LOCATION.
Not too bad, 10 min walk to the marina which has a strip of shops bars and restaurants but nothing to keep kids entertained. We walked into calls millor one night which did take around 45-60 mins. Worth it as it was so much better and had a big happy park for kids with rides ect.
POOLS.
Main pool was great for the kids, we did reserve beds before 8:30am to ensure we got beds. It does get a little busy so wouldn’t like to imagine it in the school holidays as it was already busy enough.

We booked all inclusive for a family of four with two small children. There are a lot of attractions for the kids but it is all extremely crowded. Staff at the reception is extremely unfriendly, rest of the hotel is fine. Sadly we had to talk to reception a few times:
— arrived at 21 pm to find there were no pillows or blankets for the two children. Asked at reception and were assured they were coming. Asked again about half an hour later. Still no pillows and were basically told “we told housekeeping. They will get there when they get there. ” Finally got pillows at 22:30. Great start for a holiday. Hotel apologized for this later though.
— wanted to take a trip to the beach. Shuttle service every 20 minutes was advertised. The shuttle turned out to be a slightly bigger car instead of a bus that could transport only one family at a time and took 25 minutes for that. Since there were three families before us, waiting time to get on the shuttle would have been 75 minutes at least. Possibly same situation for the return trip. Reception offered no help at all and told us we could just wait or pay for a taxi. Also no shuttle 12 — 15 o’clock and Sundays and Thursdays.
— pool is extremely crowded, it was very hard to play with the kids without getting a foot in the face from somebody else or have another kid jump right onto you. Very loud music blasting all day — think Mambo No 5 and the likes. Lifeguard watched something on his phone and did not care at all.
