We stayed at JS Yate from April 15th to April 22nd on a half-board basis, and this hotel was a wonderful surprise.
The room was comfortable and spacious, with a balcony offering a lovely view of the sea and the pool.
The staff were welcoming, professional, and extremely friendly throughout our stay. We also really appreciated having a receptionist who spoke French.
A big congratulations as well to the housekeeping staff — the hotel was spotless at all times.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was delicious, varied, and generous, with meals freshly prepared in front of us. We truly enjoyed every meal during the entire week. We especially appreciated the many options available for people who do not eat meat, as well as the vegetarian and vegan choices.
However, I do agree with some reviews regarding the wellness area, which could be better developed and enhanced. Since we visited during the low season, we were still able to enjoy it peacefully (except for the outdoor pool, which was a bit too cold for our taste), but I can imagine it may feel limited during the high season.
That being said, this was the only small downside of a hotel that is otherwise absolutely worth visiting considering all its qualities.
This stay was incredibly relaxing and full of wonderful discoveries. We would gladly recommend this hotel!

Visited here for 4 nights as a group of 3 friends. We were greeted really warmly on arrival and given all the necessary info. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom.
The pool area and outside grounds are so peaceful and clean. The guests weren’t super loud, and although it attracts older guests, there was a range of ages there.
The staff are so attentive, they come round to the pool to take drink orders, always smiling and happy to help with everything.
Location wise, it’s a 2 min walk to the beach and other bars/restaurants/shops. Again, it’s nice and quiet yet busy in the evenings.
The only slight negatives for me was the buffet food. I don’t feel like there were a lot of options, and the quality wasn’t amazing, however that’s my personal opinion and I’m sure a lot of people would love the food options. I would’ve loved more selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and desserts. My friend had a dairy allergy and she could not eat any dessert, only fruit, so it would be nice for a vegan friendly dessert option. However, the staff did walk my friend around and show her what she could eat each day, so she was well looked after.
Overall, it was a really peaceful and relaxing stay, and I definitely recommend!

An absolutely lovely hotel with great staff. The night I arrived they were full & I had a temporary double room. The next day reception were supposed to move me to a single room but said I could stay in the double if I wished.
The place is pristine & if you have the Do Not Disturb sign on your door they will not enter under any circumstances unlike other hotels I've stayed in. The shower gel they supply is divine & smells so good. I take my own stuff but try out the hotel ones. It's also available to buy so I'll be grabbing a couple of bottles to go in my travel cases.
Housekeeping comes regularly & the hotel itself smells really good. It definitely lives up to the 4* rating that it has though in comparison to another 4* I stayed in when I went to Turkey this would rate as a 7 in comparison.
If for any reason I was to come back to Spain, I would want to stay here. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Great value for money.
