Brilliant HotelWe have just returned from a 12 night stay at the Galaxia which we thoroughly enjoyed. On arrival at 2am in the morning we were taken to another hotel for the night. We returned next day and were given a very nice room on the 5th floor which had just been modernised. The open plan bathroom was a bit unusual! We had fantastic view of the sea & area. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Pedro & staff in the restaurant, Peter & Managers on reception in the day, not forgetting Rachid at night time. The hot meals were very nice though limited because its a small hotel. You could always find something to eat, salad bar etc. The pool had just been refurbished and was lovely. Great location for beach, shops, bars & buses. We came here 2 years ago and will definitely return. Julia & my Mother Doris (June 2018).

Lovely staff, Lovely rooms, nice food, nice sized bathroom, TV channels selection is not good as English only get like 2 options but all round amazing time and its very close to everything. Definitely stay here again.

Simple equipment, clean, very nice staff (striving and courteous without being intrusive), Food Offer good, beach-front, we felt comfortable!

In my opinion, a good hotel. Price/Performance Is perfect. I liked it.
In the meantime, all the rooms have been renovated, are now here for the second time. Staff are super friendly and help where they can. In my opinion, others with 3 stars can cut themselves a slice at this hotel. For much perfect and I'll keep coming back.

For the price ok. To the street relatively loud.

We had a breakfast here for €5/person. I think it's really worth it. There was a nice selection in the buffet and the environment was clean and cosy.

Terrible… room dirty, hair on bed sheets, hot water running only 10 minutes then stopped… my partner couldn't take a shower because no hot water. Food terrible… breakfast let say is so and so but for lunch and dinner is only one main… and all weeks fried chips, very very poor food… I mean for lunch one day was only fish and chips. I was starving here and also we had to pay the drinks, eaven if we had full board. Stuff… not friendly at all. Wi-Fi had no good signal, and bus shutter never arrived and we payed for this. I payed a taxi 93 euro to bring us at hotel, because bus shutter dont arrived. I don't recommend this place… worst hotel ever… I have a rush on my body bcs bed sheets are full of hair and room is dirty. Location is good but beach is full of seaweed and not welcoming.

Hotel really Good, quite surprised It's a 1 star hotel. Food good and hotel spotless. Went full board and lunch is superb. Really good for the price. As quoted no door on toilet but if you want privacy you could always use bar toilet. All in all really good hotel at a reasonable price. Staff very polite and helpfull.

Very friendly staff and coffee with milk sooo rich!

After 7 nights we now drive with mixed feelings. Here are the pros and cons points: Pro: Clean, close to the beach, friendly staff, decent rooms (had a renovated), nice atmosphere, good bar, price level Neutral: Breakfast (you get fed up but a lot you should avoid, as it simply does not taste e. G. Bacon, Fried eggs, scrambled eggs) Contra: Dinner! After two times we ate only out. No door in the bathroom and the shower puts the whole bathroom underwater.
This hotel is very fine for a star but it doesn't deserve more at the moment. The cleanliness is good and it's good, so it's good for budget travelers, students and young families.

Just come home today from Can Picafort. Stayed at The Galaxia on a 4 day cheap break. We booked room only & were given a choice of rooms. A newly refurbished one or an old room. We chose the new one, on the front of the building. The room was bright & airy, basic but everything we needed. Only fault was it could do with a door or curtain on the bathroom. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We were given free coffee, a sandwich & fruit for our very early pick — up back to the airport (3:15 am). The bar prices were really good e. G. 4€ for all cocktails, 3€ for a large glass of Sangria. We had breakfast, with a good choice of cold & hot food (as much as you wanted) for 5€. All in all we had a brilliant time here & would definitely return again. Much more than a 1 Star rating. Great location.

Second time I have been this year and absolutely love it here clean hotel and the staff are amazing friendly and welcoming fantastic cannot wait till nxt year will be booking again soon xx.

Good hotel, very nice staff. Room OK. Pool is enough. Location is great. The only thing you have to complain about is that the bathrooms have no door. Getting used to. Don't go.

The bathroom in the room has no door.
The walls and the door are like cardboard. Impossible to sleep at night. For example the elevator door every time Q is used gives a tremendous slam. You can hear even the people in the lounge bar through the stairwell, from the third floor.
The staff was very friendly and the room was very good. The correct cleaning.

Great little hotel very short walk from the beach nice and clean.

Good value for money Very cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of people repeated from other years. The only downside was the little variety of dishes prepared at dinner, but the quality of the food was more than acceptable.

Booked a shuttle to the Airport but never arrived. No refund for the shuttle.

The hotel bar is very good and affordable.

No AC, no TV, no working Wi-Fi and f***ing loud music from beaches next door until 6 in the morning. The rooms are tiny and smell strange. You can rent a key for a safe for 3€ per day and you will get no receipt when you check out.

Excellent treatment.
Great location.
Value for money 10.
We will certainly return.
