Globales Nova

Stayed at Globales Nova for 4 nights in May half term. The place itself is a little dated but it’s clean and has everything you need. The pool looked small on photos but was perfect for our kids. Be aware that most of it is very deep but the lifeguards are attentive and offer helpful advice. They are observant and rarely distracted (unlike some places where you see lifeguards chatting or on their phone).
When we arrived late at night we were greeted with a room with a double bed. We had to make up the sofa bed with sheets from the cupboard for the kids which wasn’t great. The gentleman on reception wasn’t initially welcoming continuing on his computer without acknowledgement so we just cracked on and tried to put together and make up the sofa bed as best we could.
The shower head fell down several times into the bath, how it didn’t hit us in the head I’ll never know.
The jewel in the crown is Martina who does all the activities at the hotel. She is fun and just genuinely lovely. Even when there wasn’t much uptake of some of the activities she still put them on and made them fun for the small number taking part. Our kids begged for the water mat on a daily basis and she always made sure there was time to do it which created a great atmosphere around the pool.
Tips for visitors… there’s a back route out of the hotel, the supermarket just across the way is far cheaper than the hotel or shop outside the front of the hotel.

Our 8-night stay at Globales Apartamentos Nova was honestly one of the most beautiful hotel experiences we have ever had. From the very first day until the moment we left, everything was absolutely wonderful.
The location is perfect, the view is amazing, and the pool area is beautiful and always clean. The apartments were spotless every single day, and you can truly feel that the hotel cares a lot about comfort and quality.
But the most special part of our stay was definitely the staff. We have traveled to many places before, but we rarely experienced such genuine kindness, warmth, and hospitality. The staff did not treat us like “guests” — they treated us like family. Every smile, every conversation, and every small detail made us feel welcome, comfortable, and happy.
What really surprised us was how naturally caring and friendly everyone was. You could feel the positive atmosphere everywhere in the hotel. It created such a relaxing and emotional experience for us that we already miss this place after leaving.
Thank you to the entire team at Globales Apartamentos Nova for making our holiday unforgettable. You gave us memories that we will always keep in our hearts, and we truly hope to come back again very soon.

We just returned from a stay at this lovely hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about it. If you are looking for a place that combines a spotless environment with truly heart-centered service, this is it.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we checked in, but a few individuals really made our holiday special:
The Lifeguard: A huge thank you to the lifeguard! He was absolutely brilliant with my boys. Even with a bit of a language barrier, he was full of jokes and kept the kids laughing the whole time. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were having fun in such a safe, friendly environment.
The Bar Lady: She was simply amazing! Her energy and service were top-notch, and she always greeted us with a smile.
The Housekeeping Crew: A major shout-out to the cleaners. The hotel was consistently lovely and clean. It’s clear they take great pride in their work, as our room and the common areas were always pristine.
Final Verdict.
It’s rare to find a hotel where every single department excels, but this team nails it. Amazing staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and a very high standard of cleanliness. We will definitely be back!
Tip for travelers: Make sure to spend some time by the pool; the staff there really makes the experience memorable for the kids!

Myself and partner holiday here every October and although we are returning customers, we have been given different rooms are most upper floors.
Our room this year was too the side of hotel and I did ask for 5th floor with sea view but instead we got a partial see view. Room was good and clean, everything you needed to rustle up a quick breakfast or snack after a night on the tiles.
I also asked if my son and daughter-in-law could have a room next to ours which was honoured but we did book the holiday about 5 months in advance with Easyjet.
We got given room 519, great room but balcony was in the wind chill. This meant our balcony was very windy and cold, where as my sons room was also to the side of building (room 518) and although cool was not in the wind chill and also got the sun, as we did not. All though certain request were met, we did not get a room with full sea/pool view, I understand this is sometimes due to availability but as returning customers I just thought after paying for sea view we would have got a full sea view.
Besides all that, it is the best apartments and rooms for self catering I have ever stayed in, rooms are very spacious and cleaned everyday.
Maids are hard working and lovely staff. Reception staff are also helpful and friendly.
We paid for a late check out which although is advertised in your room on a card you do have to fight for it because of (again) availbility.

Just left this hotel after a 2 week holiday. Can’t fault the staff at all, bar staff Maria, Blanca, Toni and Jose all very friendly and helpful. Martina the entertainer was always about providing activities for everyone and the Diego the lifeguard always making sure everyone is safe and happy. The hotel itself was very nice, and very spacious rooms. Would definitely come and stay here again 😊

The hotel is absolutely 100% the best location. 2 min from the beach, shops and resturants.
The rooms are huge and clean.
The staff are super friendly, big shout out to the lady who does the entertainment by the pool. Played killer darts and she was so fun. She even played yesterday as we didn't have enough to make a team. She is soo friendly and cares about the guests.
The bar staff are super friendly Maria is great and always greats with a smile. To be honest I can't fault any of the staff.
2 pools 1 cold, 1 warm. Both great sizes.
I have been coming here for years and can say this is the BEST hotel in palma mova and magaluf that I have stayed in and will definitely be back. Just for the staff I want to come back.

Recently returned from a 1 week stay. I requested a high floor, we sadly did not get it. The man who checked us in was also so rude, no smile, no have a nice stay just a you need to pay tax, here's your key. Maybe customer service shouldn't be his profession…
Rooms — very spacious, nice sized balcony and if you get a sea view a nice view also. The beds though, aaawful to the point I left with a bad back. Booking a double room it should at least be 2 twin beds fastened together not camp beds with awful mattresses. And if you think the beds are bad, the sofa bed was even worse. I couldn't even sit on that comfortably. There is an issue with noise, too, as in you can literally hear everything from neighbouring rooms, which isn't uncommon in European apartments, I guess. Some guests are not considerate, which isn't the hotels fault but just to be aware.
Staff — other than the guy who checked us in all other staff were super friendly and very helpful.
Pool and pool bar — pool is a bit of an odd shape that gets very deep very quickly but out of peak season was fine for adults no issue with sunbeds again out of peak season not sure if it would be crowded in summer. The pool bar was good. Nice selection of snacks and drinks at really reasonable prices.
Location — brilliant, magaluf 10 mons one way palma nova 10 mins the other way and plenty of bars and restaurants on the way to each.

Currently staying in this hotel right now. After reading the reviews before arriving, I was a bit skeptical about what it would be like but I am completely blown away! The food at the snack bar is lovely. The lady behind the bar is absolutely amazing! Very friendly and so helpful. All the staff are lovely. The tall lifeguard is an asset to the team! Getting involved with the kids and the adults, chatting to you. The rooms are spotless, very spacious too and lots of storage space! Has a fridge, toaster, microwave, ironing board, hairdryer! Everything you need. Would definitely book again 😊

We come back to Globales Nova every time we visit mallorca. It's in an excellent location, with an entrance giving easy access to the beach, shops and bars. The rooms are great, but getting a bit dated now. The staff are friendly, the cleaners very polite and look after the rooms. The poolside bar serves drinks and a good little food menu.
Overall, a Super place to stay, worthy of a 4th Key. Excellent!.

This is our fifth time staying in these apartments. We asked for a sea view and we were not disappointed. The hotel staff and friendly and helpful.
The bar staff Jose, Maria and Toni were attentive, friendly and welcoming every day. Martina who does the entertainment is also fantastic.
The cleaners work extremely hard to ensure the whole hotel is spotless.
We will definitely be back as it’s a fantastic hotel in a great location.

We stayed at these apartments for a week at the end of August and had a mixed experience. Despite paying for a sea view, we were allocated a ground floor room. Unfortunately, our room had ants on the bed, and a dead cockroach in the kitchen surrounded by ants — not what you expect in a newly cleaned room. However, the staff dealt with this issue promptly and efficiently, and we swapped rooms — just wasn’t what we needed at midnight after a long day travelling.
Despite this rocky start, we had a brilliant holiday. The location was fantastic, and the pool area and pool bar were great. The hallways could do with a revamp, as they felt very dated and dark, but the rooms were cleaned regularly and met our needs, even if they looked a bit tired.
Overall, we'd recommend these apartments for their location and amenities. With a bit of TLC, they could be truly fantastic. But as it stands, they're a great option for a quick family getaway.

The positives are that it is in a good loctaion, really close to some great bars and restaurants, the beach, and there is an Aldi fairly close by which is where I wouls recommend for stocking up on essentials and food — great bakery instore. It is also close to a bus stop which we used to go to Palma for the day, and then for another trip to Marineland. The staff in the bar area are lovely and you get service with a smile.
Negatives… the male reception staff are miserable and unhelpful. Could do with some customer service training. Should not be working in hospitality…
The rooms are NOISY! We had noisy neighbors on the first few nights who kept me awake. The walls are paper thin. We were located on the ground floor and as I'd paid extra for a sea view this was not the view I was expecting. Being close to reception was also noisy through the night.
Rooms very basic, and we also saw a few ants on the first day but none after that. The toaster was broke on arrival but they did replace it promptly and then the hair dryer stopped working — however it worked again the next day. I think it overheats very quickly and then will cut out.
People do get up early to out towels out (7am if you want a decent spot) and I also did this to guarantee a bed for my family. Beds close together. Pool quite small for the number of guests.
A below average experience and I will not be staying here again.

We have just returned from 10 nights and we absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend this place. Our group was two adults, an 18 year old and a 16 year old. We were on the 4th floor with a sea view which we would recommend as the views were lovely. The apartment was very spacious for the four of us and very clean and tidy. Twin beds in one room and a sofa which pulled out into two separate beds. Each bed was comfy which was a big surprise tbh. A good amount of storage for clothes and shoes etc which is just brilliant for our family of four. Rooms were cleaned every day and beds were made every day which was lovely and I think the towels were prob changed every other day (I think). Pool was really nice and there seemed to be enough sun beds but we did go down early to get one which we would recommend you do. The food poolside is quite decent. Breakfast until 12 pm — English breakfast was about €6.20 for two slices of toast, two slices of bacon, one sausage, beans and your choice of egg. Menu after 12 pm had a good selection too. Apartments are right opposite the beach and the beach was absolutely gorgeous and the sea was so warm. Plenty of restaurants to choose from along the beachfront etc. A meal for the four of us was between €80-€100 depending on where you went. Never had a bad meal tbh. Don’t be put off by reading the bad reviews as the hotel is perfect for families with young children, teenage children and equally spot on for adults with no children.

We are here now and the place itself is ideally situated, clean and staff are great, unfortunately we won’t be back. When booking it stated no large groups are allowed to book which was a plus for us but this is definitely NOT the case! I’m all for people enjoying their holiday however they feel but sometimes a line needs to be drawn so it doesn’t get to the point where other guests are being disturbed. There is a large amount of groups of boys and girls staying and whilst some are being respectful of other guests others are definitely not…smoking drugs on the balconies, VERY loud music, people knocking on your door and buzzing your buzzer when passing at various times of the day and night, shouting, throwing loo rolls off balconies, the list goes on. This is not a family hotel but it was advertised as such so it’s quite disappointing and looking at other reviews it seems other guests feel the same.

This is the lowest I have given a rating, and there's 1 main reason for it.
The staff we found nice and the girl that checked us in was very nice and helpful.
The rooms are basic but grand, and you have a hop, kettle toaster, and microwave and pay for the safe and you 10 deposit back.
They are cleaned every day, and towels changed. The cleaners were excellent and always say hello.
The pool area is always cleaned, and lifeguards are always on duty who are excellent.
The location is brilliant right beside the beach and easy walk to most places.
But now the problem and it's the noise at night, for me this is not a family complex, lots of groups of young people which is fine but when they are coming home at night the noise from about 3 till 7 is not good, if you hav young children then they will be woken up, doors banging people shouting and bells constantly ringing you won't be getting sleep and I know we were all that age once but you can't have families with young kids dealing with that, every night we were woken around these times and the last 3 nights in particular were very bad with constant shouting and doors banging and arguments and it's for that reason we could never go here again which is a pity cause everything else was grand.

Went for a week second week in June as a married couple, hotel is clean but dated, maid service every day, staff were friendly and the location is brill just across the road from the beach in fact it seemed ideal except one thing, it’s an 18-30 hotel! Came off the beach one day and walked through the pool area to our room and the whole pool area was one big youth club with hardly anyone over 18 and then from 5 in the afternoon to 12 midnight they spend all their time getting ready shouting drinking, screaming and really just have a good time which I expect from kids that age, they never did me and harm except keeping me awake when they came in at all hours which is the way kids are and good on them they were enjoying themselves, my beef is the hotel description never mentioned it when I booked it, so people just be aware.

Just home from a weeks stay at Globales Nova. We travelled with family. 10 of us in total spread across 3 rooms on 2 different floors, level 4 & 5. We were slightly concerned about previous reviews saying it was very noisy and you could hear everything going on across the hotel. This was not the case for any of us. Yes you hear other guests but it’s a hotel right by bars/restaurants and the beach so totally expected that. Room is basic but has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable, room was very clean, kitchen was equipped to get by, certainly didn’t plan to cook a gourmet meal in it but had all you needed. Would certainly stay here again! Location is great, easy walk to lots of things! Loved it!
