Me and my 3 friends stayed here for a weekend trip while studying abroad in barcelona. Worst experience at a hotel out of ALL the trips we have taken. Immediately when we walked through the door the man at the front desk was extremely rude to us. He first tried to tell us we were at the wrong hotel even though we had a confirmation for this one, and had called and talked to someone on the phone 2 hours prior. He then he made us pay an extra $300 to have 4 people in a room, even though our booking said there would be 4 people and online a price for a room at this hotel for 4 people was only $250. It was so late at night we had no other option but to pay the additional $300 dollars on top of the original $300 we paid when we booked the room online. Additionally, when handing him our passports at check in he made many many comments about us being American which made us quite uncomfortable. He made us give him our passports 3 times and even tried to tell us he needed to “hold onto them” for the night which we obviously declined. Because we are students in Barcelona we have spain NIE numbers which we have always been allowed to use to check into hotels but this man declined our use of that as well. Throughout the entire check in process the man was extremely rude to us and had terrible customer service. The next morning in the lobby we were referred to as “Those american girls” by another person working at the front desk.
A huge shout-out to Roberto from the night shift! He was super nice and absolutely accommodating. As a woman, you feel completely safe and in great hands here. You wish there were more people like him! Thank you so much for the great service.

Stayed 2 nights to watch the eclipse. Dutch lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and cool though furniture was a little hard. Nice range of temperature in the shower.
