Hotel The Place - Adults Only

This is a very new hotel with amazing style and modern furniture. The cleanliness is top. The staff is very kind and the breakfast is nice with sweet and salted food.
We have never seen so professional receptionist nowehre like the guy Kay!
We would only improve the rooftop bar as it was often closed or not working in the evening. It is a pity because it is very nice and would be a nice place after dinner for a cocktail. Overall, we recommend this hotel to everyone who likes desgin and comfort.

Disappointed as the hotel canceled our reservation with only a 24-hour notice. Our reservation was confirmed over 2 weeks ago via Agoda, but the hotel contacted Agoda pretending that we requested for a cancellation 2 days before our arrival. This is by far the worst customer service that we have encountered in Mallorca. And if you do not speak Spanish, don’t even try to understand what happened with the receptionist. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like be scrambling for a room last minute during the peak summer season.

Fantastic small hotel. Tastefully renovated. We were positively surprised. Breakfast was great and staff was friendly.
The room is modern and it’s design well thought thru.
Parking on the street outside the hotel was no problem and felt safe.

Rooms were modern & clean, breakfast had a good standard with freshly made on-demand dishes. Due to the location the hotel is run as a pretty small business, so we missed a bigger pool area as well as a nicer bar. As an adult hotel, it was incredibly silent and relaxing. I definitely recommend staying here!

"The Place" used to be the Ondina Mar Hotel and this we were told is its first season under new management.
One of the big downsides of our stay was that we were some of the hotels first guests while some quite intrusive finishing-off work was being done and some important facilities were out of action.
The hotel has a fresh modern feel to it and it has been finished to good standards. The room sizes are adequate although most rooms don't have a balcony, and views are of the street — that isn't the prettiest in Spain. The shower was excellent and room servicing was of the highest standards every day. There's a TV and tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfasts were very good. They were continental/buffet style but eggs with ham, cheese bacon etc were cooked to order and were some of the nicest we've had. The other major downside was that we went half-board but found that evening meals were provided at 2 other restaurants and we were each given 20 euro vouchers to pay each evening — that was not at all a good arrangement!
The hotel has a small roof pool, pool-bar and sun terrace Unfortunately the pool and bar weren't open and that was another big disappointment.
The staff are all wonderfully helpful and friendly and, although the first languages are German and Spanish, we were easily understood and made to feel very welcome. Flowers and fizz were provided for my wife's birthday which was a lovely touch.
