Hotel Bellavista

This is a complicated review. The location is absolutely amazing. Great shopping, restaurants, night life, beaches and historical sites all within easy walking distance. The price is very affordable. The service staff was exceptional, very friendly, multilingual and really helpful. The pool is usually quiet and located in a shaded area so the water is cool and very refreshing. The breakfasts were decent and they offered a good variety that wasn't the same each day. The rooms were very clean and cared for. We always arrived back to a clean room. Often, with our kids' stuffed animals posed adorably at the edge of the bed. The water pressure was always great and the water was always hot…
But, the rooms are a bit dated and many of the pluses of their location come with a few negatives. While the hotel is close to the night life, that also means that the occasional intoxicated partier will stumble down the street singing loudly at all hours. Also, due to the distance from the airport, some guests have very early transport pickup times. For example, our bus arrived at 4:30am. We did our best to stay as quiet as possible, but one can definitely hear people moving about in the hallways during the early hours. While this is not the fault of the hotel, it might make the stay a bit more difficult for light sleepers. One other issue is that everything that gets wet, stays wet because you're on a humid island.

Lovley quiet stay here. Hotel is clean and very well kept. Staff helpful and friendly. Pool is shaded and can get cold (not a problem for us). Pool side offers chairs and tables, with loungers on a sun terrace up stairs at either side of pool. Breakfast has a great variety of hot and cold food. Breakfast window is between 7:45 and 10:15 which is alittle tight (in my opinion) as the dining room gets full. Location is a short walk away from the harbour/restaurant/shops.

Do you like to have an unknown double booking with double the cost? Than this is the hotel for you!
The moment I received the payment request, I paid it as always immetiately. I authorised it with my creditcard and I got the comformation of my payment.
However! Once we checked in, the desk lady told me I had made a double booking. I told her I didn't and that there must be a mistake, but instead of helping me she started laughing. Wow, what a service.
They couldn't help me at the desk, so I called the next day. They told me I did make two valid bookings and that there was nothing they could do for me.
This hotel stole €430, 92 from me. They deny to own up to the fact that they made a mistake. They took money without given permission.
Please keep this in consideration wjen planning to stay here.

And yes, you are to blame for everything, because you refuse to pay me back. And you kept the rooms free? I never checked in the second room, and you know that.
I still expect my money to come back as fast as possible. Thank you.
Update: Sad to see you changed your comment, AI did a good job responding. I will not change my review, as I never received a second booking confirmation after the 'apparent' second payment.

Excellent location, super breakfast and very supportive people working there. We stayed for 2 weeks in June and really enjoyed the place and location of this hotel. Everything was within the walking distance — beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. Hotel is small and cozy, has a bar, swimming pool, full and tasty breakfast. Our huge thanks from Canada to Daniela and Martina for helping us to resolve the issues with cancelled flight the last minute, making phone calls and providing a room for extra day. We would definitely come back to this place!

I've been staying at the hotel for about a week. First of all, the hotel staff are very friendly and answer any of your questions sincerely. The rooms in the hotel are good for the price, but I expected the beds to be better. The breakfast is great and the pool is also adequate. The location of the hotel is very good for this region, but Cala Rajada is definitely not the most popular place on the island. If you are coming to Rajada, this hotel is quite sufficient.

We had an amazing time here. The staff are really lovely and helpful and has a lovely bar and really nice coffee too. Our rooms were nice and comfortable and it's really near the marina with lots of bars and restaurants you'll be spoiled for choice! Loved the blue and yellow colors of the hotel which always stuck out on our return home in the evening.

If you like to sleep at night, I don't recommend this place. During our stay, a group of young boys were making a lot of noise in the corridor at 3 am! doors and balconies are very leaky. We were afraid to go out because we didn't know if they would hurt us, there were a lot of them. We tried to call the service, but no one answered. Only after a long time did someone silence them, but unfortunately they had a room next to ours and we could hear everything through the walls. It was the worst night of my life.

Our cash was stolen from the room while having breakfast.
We know the cash was in our wallets because we paid in cash for dinner the night before. Also, it was gone from my and my wife’s wallets so it couldn’t be just lost or coincidence.
The only time we didn’t have our back packs that contained our wallets in them was during this breakfast just before checking-out. The breakfast took 15 minutes max.
We stayed at the 2nd floor. Balcony doors and windows were closed. Even wooden sun covers were closed. Doors were locked with a key upon leaving for breakfast (not a card lock).
The staff was uncooperative in helping to resolve the issue and refused to show security recordings for some vague “legal” reasons (basically balming GDPR).
Room service (cleaners) were trying to enter our room for at least 3 times while we stayed at the hotel. One time just 3-4 hours after our check-in they were trying to enter the room but couldn’t as the key was inserted from inside. When I came out of the room asking what do they want they looked surprised that we’re there (we were sleeping because we had an overnight ferry) and asked if we need a new towel or toilet paper. Seems strange when this happens 3 hours after you enter freshly prepared room after check-in.
When we reported about the theft via booking site messages to the staff, we almost got threatened for accusing them for stealing which we did not in the first place.

Lovely small hotel — staff are SUPER nice. Pool was a little small compared to what you expect from photos but luckily it wasn't high season so it wasn't too busy. Food and drinks are reasonably priced at the bar. Breakfast included was as good as expected.

Already had a double room and an apartment here. Not first class. However, clean enough. Would book here again and again. Sebastian the house soul makes the counter here. Helps with all questions. Breakfast is OK. Coffee machine what patient. Cult stop.
