Canyamar Beach Hotel

My stay at this property unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The room we were given was not adequately clean – there were squashed mosquitoes on the walls and ceiling, which was very unpleasant. The breakfasts, for which we paid 12 euros per person, were very meager. Contrary to what we expected, we had to share a single avocado with other guests. On the last day, we chose not to have breakfast at all because it was simply not worth it.
The photos in the listing unfortunately do not reflect reality. There was visible mold in the shower, and the entire room was worn out and damp. The rooms have long passed their prime, and a few small improvements would be enough to restore a comfortable atmosphere and appearance.
Additionally, the host threatened to tow our vehicle, despite the fact that in the evening, a car with German license plates was allowed to park without issue. When we raised our concerns, instead of addressing them, the host reported us to Airbnb with a false claim that we were being noisy, even though we weren’t even at the property at the time.

We had a hard time on our holiday with poor menus and unprofessional staff so we were so relieved to find this spot our last night of the holiday.
Incredibly tasty food with a varied menu. Beautiful setting with attentive staff. The fish of the day was excellent and the plates were beautiful.

Food good — a bit of variety from and a cut above standard tourist fare. Food all fresh and excellently cooked. Very friendly staff. And the restaurant is nicely present — both the outdoor area and the riverboat section overlooking the river.
