Protur Playa Cala Millor Hotel

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in room 214 from May 23rd to 30th.
Hotel was very clean and well presented. Rooms were modern with comfortable beds and a lovely walk in shower. Food served at breakfast and evening meal was hot and delicious with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Waiting staff were very accommodating with any requests met and very professional in their duties. Bar staff worked incredibly hard to serve drinks and ensured tables were clean and tidy before each serving of drinks. Entertainment was very good, particularly the Michael Jackson and Take That tribute acts. The pool has plenty of comfortable sunbeds for guests. The hotel has a beachfront location in the lovely resort of Cala Millor, within close proximity of shops.
It was our first time at your hotel, however it will certainly not be our last.
The lifts can be problematic particularly for those on the upper floors of the hotel. Many guests used the internal stairs (which is not really appropriate if mobility is an issue)
Water is not available during evening meal as standard, it has to be purchased. Maybe jugs of water could initially be provided and then if guests feel the need for more water, then it can be purchased.
When there was a fault with the lights in our room, it was reported and repaired within 24 hours.
We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to future guests and would like to thank all staff for making our stay so wonderful. Thank you once again.

We have just arrived home from a week at Protur Cala Millor and we had a fantastic week. The hotel is spotless clean, lovely rooms, pool area beautiful and food at restaurant and grill bar was amazing. There was live entertainment every night with some great bands and singers. Location is perfect and the staff go above and beyond to help. Salva, Xcisco and Jimmy were great. We will 💯 be back.

Well, what can I say? What a lovely adult only hotel in a wonderful setting right on the sea front. We were on floor 8 in a room facing towards Cala Bona and the view is breathtaking. My photos really don’t do it justice. It gets the sun first thing in the morning and then shade the rest of the day which suited us perfectly.
The hotel staff are all lovely without exception and the waiting staff are eager to please. The food is really good too…no complaints there.
Our room was quite large with a large bathroom too. Everything was really comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by the hardworking cleaning staff. Towels were changed every single day although we hung them on the hooks.
Make sure to take your own shampoo and conditioner though as only handwash and shower gel are provided…nothing else.
There is a small rooftop pool and sunbathing area with a bar open 12noon — 4pm every day except Thursdays.
Can’t comment on the entertainment as we don’t stay in the hotel after dinner. We like to go out and about for a drink and do some people watching!
The only two negatives (for s personally) I can say about the hotel and this is probably being nit picky but there aren’t enough umbrellas for the amount of beds at all. Also the ones that are there are fixed so you have to move the bed…not always ideal. We were lucky we were able to get a covered double lounger bed which was really comfortable but you had to get there early.

This is probably going to be a boring review as it pretty much echoes the praise that many others have heaped on this hotel.
We had a good feeling booking this, having previously stayed at a Protur hotel in Sa Coma, and were not disappointed when arriving here.
A quick, no fuss check in with a glass of Cava is always a good start and we were very pleased to find our high floor request had been provided. We had a sea view room that looked over the bay towards Cala Millor and Cala Bona (my personal favorite view, both day and night).
The room was spotless and tidy and although smaller to what we have been used to, still plenty of room and storage for the two of us.
All the staff from housekeeping and maintenance upwards are so very friendly — not just a polite greeting but a genuine and welcoming smile told us we had made a good choice.
The hotel was at the end of its season while we were there, but you would never have guessed it. Everything is pristine and clean, the buffet restaurant had a wide range of food, not simply a make do menu. Themed meals were varied and delicious and nothing was too much trouble for you (we actually changed tables 3 times during our stay, with no fuss and a warm "of course" when we asked).
Entertainment every night was provided here, with people getting up and dancing and singing along making it a really fun evening.

Thank you to everyone at this wonderful hotel. Its our 3rd visit and gets better every time. We love the buffet food and the al a carte restaurant was amazing. Entertainment was even better this time and thats down to Jimmy who works really hard to make everyone happy. We loved our room which had an amazing view of the sea and a beautiful sunrise. Our lovely maid always cleaned to perfection and always made us smile as she was always singing and so happy doing her work. The hotel is in a perfect spot for shopping and lovely walks in either direction. We celebrated both our birthdays and enjoyed the complimentary Cava at the dinner table. We are so looking forward to coming again next year. Thank you all again for all your hard work and making us so welcome. Janet and Ken.

From the moment we got to the hotel we were impressed by staff. We were greeted at the desk with a glass of champagne for my wife and myself and then we were lead to a beautiful meal — even though we arrived at 10 o clock at night — the service was excellent — the staff — every single one of them were pleasant and caring. Jimmy the entertainment manager was not only good at his job but took us out a few days on walking trips. The food was amazing and we eat every evening in the hotel — normally we would have went out a couple of nights for variety — but the food was excellent and a great variety — we will definitely be back — thank you Protur Playa Cala Millor — Don.

We are repeat visitors as are many of the couples who come here which speaks volumes as to how good this hotel is. It ticks all the boxes for a great holiday, to include fantastic beachside location, great food, clean rooms and brilliant hard working and friendly staff.
There is entertainment nightly, some good and some not so good but I guess it depends on personal taste when it comes to entertainment.
Hubby and I love coming here and hope to come again next year.
Things we didn’t like……. Evening bar socialites!

Hotel was very run down. The water park was closed, hotel staff on main reception wasn't very helpful took us 45 minutes to find which bit we were staying in. We had to get directions off of others who were staying there, hotel room wasn't great had to change rooms after the first night due to we couldn't close the main bedroom door. Balcony door was broke and couldn't use the wardrobes. The staff on the 24hr reception were very helpful and arranged for us to move, also there were 2 adults and 2 children 17 &14 and there was only 1 single bed. The younger one had to sleep on the sofa with wasn't very comfortable 😕 and no bedding was there for her we had to request it.

This hotel is wonderful in every way. As regular repeat visitors for many years, we love to return. The hotel is in an excellent location opposite the beach, promenade is flat and you can walk along into Cala Bona, if you fancy s change, great choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
Firstly all the helpful reception team, special mention to Daniel, Aina and Lucas. Always perfectly clean, the housekeeping staff work hard, our lady this year was brilliant on the 8th floor. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, walk in shower in the bathroom. A fresh bottle of complimentey water is left each morning in your room. There is also a small fridge, hairdryer and a safe (small charge at reception for safe). The food is fabulous, executive chef Christian does the hotel proud. Resturant is well organised and run by the the lovely Tony and his fab team. Bar staff are great, special mention to Fani, Marcus, Sergio, Salvi. Jimmy the entertainments Manger is a brilliant guy, organises great acts each evening and day activities, he has time for everyone. His popularity goes before him. Even the lady Lifeguard is great, happy to offer any help around the poolside making sure everyone is OK. The lady in the spa is fantastic, there are a selection of massages and treatments, just lovely, if it's your thing, book in, you won't be disappointed. Finally, Davide the Hotel Manager us always visible around the hotel if you need him.

Perfect hotel for us, lits of welcome, very friendly staff, always clean and tidy. We requested a low floor and were given room 128 probably the best hotel room we've ever had with a fridge tea/coffee and complimentary bottle of water every day, It was a pleasure to wake up to the beautiful views of cala millor. The food and drinks were great, entertainment was the best we've ever had on holiday Jimmy is doing a great job. The staff and management were very helpful especially the TUI rep Howard, thanks to all. We have already booked another fortnight same time next year.

This is an excellent Adults only hotel. There were mainly British tourists here, though a handful of many other nationalities as well. The rooms were quite spacious with a decent bathroom and balcony. The restraunt served high quality meals all in a buffet style. Eating was relaxed with a huge range of choice. There is an additional specialist restraunt and everyone is entitled to one free evening meal here. Lunch, if you are staying on site is in the outside grill. The fish and chips here are excellent and much lighter than in the UK. If you've got a good appetite then try a banana split for dessert! There is entertainment every evening which is good.
Outside there is a decent sized pool which wasn't heated. The sea was warmer. The beach is only just across the promenade and is clean with plenty of parasols and loungers.
Overall an excellent holiday in a very friendly hotel.

Adult only hotel. Hotel is spotless, cleaners work hard. Pool area was very clean and as it was mid September we avoided the 9am rush for a sunbed but I an imagine it being crazy in peak season. They fence the area and people wait until9 then rush for certain beds. Its in a nice area, on the beach and only 5 minutes from the main shopping strip. Entertainment was good on the nights we saw it, just singers, would have been nice to have something a bit more varied like a spanish guitar and flamenco or magic etc. The average person there in mid September was retirement age, but they sure know how to dance and have fun. There was a lack of fun during the day however, the pool was silent and so quiet, no atmosphere. You are not allowed any floats/rings etc. Which I love a relax in a big ring so that was disappointing. The pool was cool and the rooftop one rally cold, the sea is much warmer! The beach in seconds away, it does have a few rocks but better to the left side. We had a seaview top floor (821) room and it was lovely. Food was good — not amazing but there was lots of choice with regular themed nights. Dining room staff and cleaning staff were amazing. I would return because its location is perfect and its very clean. Now ive experienced Adults only hotel I will be more prepared for it being much quieter. We did a Tui trip to Forementor and market which Iwould recommend too.

Really nice and very clean hotel. Great people working there, who are very good at their jobs. The facilities are also nice, though some details there needs a bit of love and service. ;) We only had breakfast included in our stay, and it was very, very good, with a huge selection of food. Something for everyones taste to be had. :)
The waiters in the restaurant are very quick and pays great attention to detail, along with being very polite at all times.
We did not experience the evening entertainment, but we went on a great walk to Son Servera, accompanied by Jimmy, one of the hotels entertainers, and it was a GREAT trip!. Jimmy is such a funny and nice guy. :D.
All in all, it was a great stay, and we would not hesitate to come back again another time. :)

Just back from 4 lovely days in a beautiful spotless hotel with excellant service, friendly helpful and polite staff, a credit to your staff. It's an adult only hotel, has a great pool area with plenty beds an outdoor bar/grill serving really tasty snacks, Pizzas excellant! First time ever stayed half board and must say well impressed with range and quality of food, Different theme night every night … also different entertainment everynight to suit everyone, The hotel is in an excellant location just across the promenade from the beach and about 5 mins walk to the main shops and bars, I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Fantastic hotel located right across from the beach. Spent 10 days here and couldn’t fault this hotel at all. The food, service, cleanliness and entertainment were all brilliant. Went out a lot too as very close to strip which is really good with bars and cafes etc. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful hotel in such beautiful surroundings. Hotel is adults only so was nice to get away from young families and relax… hotel staff were amazing so helpful and polite… facilities in the hotel were really well looked after, rooms were clean and well looked after by the maid… only thing I would say is beds are very hard and cover on the bed didn’t seem to fit both beds… was a small issue but nothing that would spoil your holiday! Whilst we were there the lift was problems which left one lift majority of the time for 7 floors… it did get fixed and things resumed as normal… meal times food was amazing plenty of choice…. Only thing I would say is you have to pick your table on day one for your evening meal. Not a big thing but as tables are close together it can become awkward if the table next to you don’t speak and causes an atmosphere… again minor things that didn’t spoil our holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic beachfront hotel.
Rooms and facilities are kept really clean.
The staff are attentive, incredibly hardworking, and friendly.
The entertainment manager, Jimmy, makes an extra effort with all the guests — if you're lost for something to do or see, he'll point you in the right direction.
Speaking of entertainment, the live evening shows are all brilliant.
The breakfast and evening buffet is all restaurant-quality. I've been quite taken aback by how fantastic it all is. The chefs put on a different theme for each evening (e. G. BBQ, Asian, Mexican, etc. ) which keeps the dining experience interesting — something most hotels won't offer, especially at the quality on show here. I have certain allergies and my partner is rather picky, but despite this we both always manage to find something tasty and unique.
My only one nitpick is that the room safe has a €2.00 fee each day (in our case 10 days = €20.00), which I think should really come as standard in 2025.
Despite this, I can't recommend this hotel enough, and look forward to returning.
