Review of Sandos Papagayo 4*

We chose this hotel last minute, generally based on reviews from 'Trip Advisor' & 'Google Reviews' and have to say we weren't disappointed at all! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We had a lovely sea view from our room which was very clean, modern & spacious with very comfy beds! Lots of lovely pools to choose from and more than enough space & loungers not to have to worry about 'hoggers' reserving them for a change! The staff we always polite & very attentive, nothing was too much trouble at all during our entire stay & whilst we were away on my partners birthday, the cleaners must have seen the birthday card I got her and very kindly left a bottle of bubbly in our room for when we got back from the pool, which was a wonderful gesture and very much appreciated, so thank you 'Hotel Papagayo'! The food was generally very good and there was plenty of choice & variation throughout our stay plus access to snacks & drinks all day when the restaurant was closed. For an all inclusive resort, it didn't disappoint in any respect. The drinks were all very palatable too including the wine & beer which made a nice change from some places! If you get a chance to try the 'Fusion Restaurant', get yourself booked in as it's all part of the package and was a lovely experience and great opportunity to dress up for the evening. We went on the Oriental evening & it was fantastic! All in all, this was a wonderful holiday that both myself & partner loved and would definitely consider returning to or trying another Sandos hotel in another country, if they are all up to this standard! Even after checkout, we were allowed to use the hotel facilities, rather than being booted out prior to our transfer! Thank you & keep up the good work to all the staff at 'Sandos Papagayo'!
