Brilliant resort. Top notch cleanliness from our cleaner Edna. Loved the entertainer Pablo, give him a raise! Only one problem to make awareness of, a strange sound coming from the kitchen … It began on our 4th night in, it was 5:34 am, my step sis and I heard clanking from what we assumed was the tap. Plumbing problems? We decided to not lose any sleep over this and rested our heads back into our pillows. Fast forward to our 5th night, around 1am this time. We heard another sound from the same area, but it was a different noise, more of a rustling. We were shocked and indeed terrified as to where was this noise coming from. We both tip-toed towards the same cupboard… the thrashing grew louder. This time we decide to get our parents. They could both hear this noise, so they picked up the bin and decide to put it on the balcony. That is when we realised the bin had a chewed hole in the top and the bin bag was nibbled to pieces! Where was this furry creature? Nowhere to be seen … It’s not over yet! On our 6th and final night, around 6am this time we all had to wake up and catch an early flight home. Walking around our apartment, gathering things to cram into our suitcases, we heard the same noise. We were fed up by this point, but still petrified. Once again we get the bin and put back outside, but this time we decide to search through it straight away. A chewed Pringle’s tub was found, but no creature, no mouse droppings and definitely no answers.
