Cheap to be Ibiza, talking vegan you eat well at the buffet, 2 very nice pools, beach below the resort quite nice, shops in the area well stocked but close early, quiet area perfect for families, hotel staff very nice and Available. Recommended!

We stayed here a month ago. A short 4 night trip. We arrived just after 10pm and was walked across the pool area by the security guy to the reception. The staff are all lovely nice food although little choice. Lovely clean rooms and public areas. Short walk to beach. Definitely try the Chinese restaurant book at least a day in advance. Would go back tomorrow!

Pleasant hotel! Rooms are small but clean, the food is as expected with all inclusive — a nice, good variety which caters to everyone. The hotel is in quite a small resort — lovely beach, there’s a supermarket and a handful of restaurants/bars. Quite remote so difficult to venture out/get to the centre of Ibiza on public transport — so bear that in mind if you’re coming for an exploring or clubbing holiday! If you’re after a nice, relaxed getaway — then this place is just the tonic.

Nice hotel but constant trouble with hot water, food really good, restaurant staff not very friendly.

Hotel with breathtaking views. With hiking trails… hotel for lack of reform but clean. Spacious and comfortable… and a 10 for the workers in kindness and attention to the customers…

This place has the best views ever. Best entertainment the beach is 1 minute away the food is very nice the staff are so nice it has like 4 pools, 8 floors the position of it is on the mountain. There is Irish bar just 2 minutes away and the drinks are fairly cheap the only thing on the beach you have to pay around 7 euro for a bed but it's not that bad. Would highly recommend it for family holidays or just business stay. The Wi-Fi is not free but it's 5 euro for 24 hours or 20 for 7 days.

Wonderful place a bit wild but where you can still smell the scent of the sea without pollution and where the local vegetation has remained splendid, the hotel beautiful and modern away from the chaos of the cities inserted in a serene and relaxing, Staff very friendly, fast and professional, always helpful. Stayed last week 7 days in this hotel, the location is perfect because you are located in a nice cove, but in general I will not return to this hotel, is only for foreigners, if you are Spanish the animation is not for you, the schedules of meals like the English, the food buffet closed at 2 and a half (which many Spaniards at that time have not started or eat), the food very repetitive and not very good, the only thing better breakfast. The rooms were very good, the room was very nice and the rooms were very comfortable… The staff very rude and unwilling to treat the guests, less a few, highlighting a waiter at the buffet called Isaac who is the only one who cared about the guests and very familiar with us. The Western House which is a snack hut in the pool, Malisimo, every time we had it we felt bad. It is a hotel with 8 floors and only 2 lifts, so there was no way to go up or down because everyone filled them and had to go up and down the stairs. Overall a bad experience at the hotel.

The hotel is located in a really nice place. Crystalline waters, surrounded by pine forests and although it is August, the relatively quiet area.
The hotel facilities like pools, bars and common areas are pretty good. Hotel staff a 10, both in kitchen and restaurant and reception.
The rooms are very spacious, with large LCD TV, large beds and terraces with unbeatable views. The rooms were very clean. What should improve are the bathrooms that are very old, without screen and old toilets.
They have Wi-Fi payment (€20 a week) and if you want a fridge to keep water cold, you have to pay it.
The worst thing about the hotel is the food. I've been having dinner for three days and it's clearly focused on foreigners. Little variety, repetitive and tailor-made. All inclusive drinks seem pretty bad, from the water to the beer or the summer red.
It's a shame because the setting is beautiful, the staff fantastic and the hotel although old quite right.
They would have to think more of the Spanish tourist, which by the way there are enough in the hotel and not only in Guirilandia.

We stayed for a week, lovely family friendly hotel. Clean, food was really nice, good choices every day. Really good location for beach and local caves. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Would recommend it.

Arrived at 02.15am with children. We checked in and was asked to pay the room tax there and then? Wasn't aware of this. We asked to pay next day and told no it must be now. We then asked if there was any complimentary water. No. Not good with 4 children. Once settled in food good. Entertainment good. Beautiful surroundings. Clean. Most staff friendly. Struggle for sun beds!

Location, family and buffet very varied.

Booking at the neighbouring hotel wasn't done properly for the Chinese restaurant, the staff were very unhelpful and rude, refusing to call across and find out why our reservation hadn't been passed over. Fortunately a man called Angel took pity on us and allowed us into the other restaurant. When we booked at the Cartago for the Chinese the next night the food actually was very odd, sweet and sour chicken seemed to be one of he main dishes and was disgusting, the sauce was like pure vinegar. We had to avoid that and there wasn't as much choice as the other restaurant we visited the night before. I'd avoid the Chinese restaurant to be honest.

The access to the beach is great, as is the view. Also the food is sufficiently enjoyable and varied. The rooms themselves could do with some updating but still comfortable. There are several bars that look like they would be included in the all inclusive but aren't, also the selection at the tapas bar is exceptionally minimal.

Loved it here. Great all inclusive food for the star rating and drinks were good too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back soon.

We had very good environment very functional and friendly suitable for famglie with children and also great people friendly staff.
A nice experience to repeat during this time to relax.
I think that later on it will be chaotic.

All I can say is this hotel is bloody amazing. Its great if u have kids but it's also great if u go on ur own or as a couple. Cause u get to make new friends from all over the UK or even other countries if ur lucky. Been here twice already. … goin bk again this year with my wife iagain. Looking forward to it. Can't wait.

The cartago or san Miguel hotel as its referred to in the uk is a nice hotel in need of a face lift I have stayed here many times and the beach is great, its more for familys this area.

If you with small kids (0-10 years old) book San Miguel Beach Club (same complex), if adults and teenagers then Club Cartago is for you.
