Brilliant, clean, friendly and huge x.

Not enough staff to cater for number of guests. Only one bar open on a night by harbour. One staff working behind bar. Loads ordering drinks. Not worth a inclusive price. Only this bar gives bottled water for night. Tiles in po.

Very friendly staff, very child-friendly, plentiful offer, happy to ❤ again at any time.

We are staying here now and its superb.
We normally stay in the Royal Level, and were there in September.
Moved to the beach resort 10 days ago and love it.
Lovely apartment with a big terrace off the bedroom and a huge terrace off the living room.
Beds are comfy and the kitchen area is fine for preparing small meals.
the pool areas are great and a sun trap.
The food at the restaurant is superb and the same quality as the Royal Level.
We cannot fault our stay here.
The staff are great and so friendly.
If you don't know there is a small supermarket behind the reception for any items you may have forgotten.

Just came back from our first holiday as an engaged couple here. Everything about this place was great! I'm disabled and it was the first time I had taken my mobility scooter abroad. The staff were very supportive and accommodating. They gave us a choice of rooms to suit my needs, which I've never had before and it was a very thoughtful and kind gesture. We chose to be near the pool, which had a brilliant view of the beach too. It was also my fiance's birthday and the Staff brought him a bottle of Cava and mini birthday cake. It was a lovely gesture! All in all It was a fabulous hotel and the Staff made it really special, so a big thank you from us both ❤

Just back from a short break. Bungalow, was a perfect base, lovely and clean. Nice verandah to sit on with loungers, table and chairs. Breakfasts were really good, good choice at lunch and evening meal. Staff very friendly. Special touch was a bottle of wine and cake sent to our room on my husbands birthday. Grounds very well maintained. Couldn't fault it. Only downside was some bars not included in all inclusive but wasn't a problem for us.

Doesn't get better than this place… hotel room on the beach… resort is huge loads to do. Food is amazing and animation team are excellent not home yet and booking for next year. I'll be sad to leave.

Fantastic resort with lots of activities on offer and an excellent entertainment team. Likewise, if relaxing is your thing… plenty of pool side space and a huge beach to get some R&R. Along with a shop on site, there are loads of bars and cafes dotted all over the place. Already considering our next trip out there.

Great hotel, clean and with many amenities: swimming pool, supermarket, restaurant, parking lot, playpen, luggage room, etc. Helpful staff. Big bungalows with a small but complete kitchen. Nice surroundings. Well located. There's a rather big sandy beach close. Also close to a shopping centre with supermarkets, shops and bars. The only objection for us was that closing dinner time is 9:30 pm which is too early for Spanish people.

31/07-10/08/18, Fantastic location, good selection of food and service at bars. Housekeeping excellent. We were let down by the accommodation standard as we were expecting a modern style bungalow. On comparison to our friends in 3205 ours 3066 was of a 2-3 star standard, over cleaned, dull and uninviting, customer should be made aware of these differing standards prior to booking. It certainly was not photographed in website. Disappointing as we are regular clients of Barcelo hotels.

Lovely hotel for a family holiday. Bungalow was really clean and spacious and looked like it had been recently refurbished. 2 minute walk down to the beach and harbour, and 5 minute walk up to the main street where all the shops and restaurants are. Stayed bed and breakfast — buffet style breakfast was good quality with an amazing selection, although it's very busy at certain times. Beautiful view of the castle and beach from the pool. Plenty of sunbeds and a nice pool bar. I would definitely recommend, and would return.

Hotel very clean room service every day, all inclusive formula is extra, only flat the dinner and bar schedules in the evenings at 11:00 to 10:30 all is closed! We don't live in Spanish here!

This is enough… The restaurant offers a wide choice both at breakfast and in the main meals with good quality food… Unique in the corner for the afternoon snacks for those who have the formula all inclusive are only two and provided predominantly of "salty" and in that near the pool of the Mini Club there is an offer of sun drinks… This makes a little bit lose points… The structure is large but functional although it should be subjected to small maintenance work (some tweaking would not hurt) … The pools are small but with that beach two steps away! Rooms with kitchenette, small living room with TV and private outdoor area… The guys in the animation are competent and some pretty good, congratulations… Overall I would tend to 5 stars but the right rating would be 4.6/4.7… PS the Mini Club for kids… Top.

Great hotel well served and complete with every comfort. Nice and friendly staff, clean. The pools are very nice, the location close to the sea is optimal. The centre is small but comfortable to walk to. Very varied and good food, also rich gluten free breakfast, thank you it was a nice holiday.

The hubicacion is ideal, the animation staff is the best I've ever seen.

On the positive side — Near beautiful marina with relaxing bars. Our bungalow was very clean and spacious and faced the sea. We had daily long very enjoyable coastal walks and were joined by very friendly chipmunks! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The entertainment was great most evenings. On the minus side, food 5 out of 10. Luke warm and greasy every day! Good selection of salads. Our bungalow was a 5 minute walk from a gritty beach, not sandy! Tractors came and tried to smooth the beach to make it feel sandy! Overall disappointed with beach and food but still had a wonderful time!

Awesome morning Buffet! The accommodation is a fully-updated individual bungalow. Clean and very careful. Access to gym something remote but thanks for walking on the beach.

We really felt very comfortable. After small problems with our first bungalow we immediately offered an alternative and had very relaxing days. The food is very good and above all extremely fresh. Only in the coffee there is a bit but this is nothing new in Spain.

Surprisingly around top hotel. The best part was the location. The Hotel Bay is so ingeniously laid out that it is calm on the beach. Even outside the summer days it is pleasantly warm and with small children it is only the top without an annoying wind.

Great service. The rooms/bungalows are clean and very well equipped.
A star deduction only because of the buffet. It is sufficient, always fresh and tasty, but unfortunately the tables are not always clean and are only wiped off by walking.
Nevertheless highly recommended…

The apartment we were allocated was the furthest away for the amenities but was quite large and was cleaned every day. The dining room however resembles a works canteen. Too many people looking to find a table and when you did manage to get one the task of obtaining your food from the buffet was more a battle than a pleasure. Good place to visit, but go self catering as the food outside the hotel is better and varied.

Great resort and sooooo big some times needed a map to get to around. Rooms were very spacious and tidy. They have three pools so plenty of choice and some free games to keep little ones busy restaurant was big and spacious with lots of seats but it would be a lot better if they had more vegetarian options mainly had to stick to pizza. Staff we're friendly and helpful.

This place is very versatile. Everyone can find something for themselves. Beach, walking, diving, minigolf, shop. But it also goes well from here to the south as well as to the north. It is best to rent a car and the places you would like to drive.

Lovely place lots of different areas. Unfortunately workmen outside our app. So we requested a move which was done the next day. As it too until after 2 I complained as we'd make our own lunch. We were given complementary lunch. Fab weeks break. Just wish it had been for longer!

Nice, close to the beach, with walk to shopping mall, close to sports pier, good location.

Very well placed hotel. Big Bémolsur Half board, no drinks included. We were charged €10 for 2 glasses of coca and 2 Fanta! No one has explained to us that we had to order bottles and not serve the fountains like the people in all inclusive.

Stayed at this hotel loads, but it's got greedy the price went up £500 pounds in over 4 months. It now only wants better class of people as your made to feel second class. They need to remember there are other hotels up the road which are as good as they are. I'll not return or be ripped off.

Great. It is a mini-city with various types of accommodations. Lots of restaurants, bars, shop, pools… almost all for foreigners English, but in the family realm. Cleanliness and friendliness stand out. Very nice all. There are things like the spa that will come apart if you're not staying in that area. Well connected. Yes, there is nothing around. Ideal to do some hiking but to keep there stay.

I would say that in view of the rates the benefits are OK but without more. I expected a little better after that is quite correct.

Should take care of the waterfront area of the cafeteria that they have two employees for the whole when is of free access and let people on the street to eat, the employees were note weighed down by not being able to serve people in the days of sun when it fills the local.

Staying here since last Wednesday. Bungalow very nice, cleaners lovely but restaurant that another thing. Table's never set with cutlery. We have had to sit at tables with the last diners plates and dishes. This morning had to have my breakfast cereal on a plate because there was no bowls. Needs some organisation with staff to keep up with demands in restaurant. Also if you are a late diner don't expect much food left, nothing is replenished. Would stop here again but self catering.

I stayed here in June for a week with my family. It was a lovely resort, the food changed everyday and there was plenty of variety to try — something new to try everyday. The two pools were a good size and there was lots of activities taking place throughout the day in which we could partake. There was truly something for everyone — there was entertainment for children in the evening, swimming with seals, shops and the beach was right next to the resort. We were all inclusive so we also enjoyed food throughout the day — there was food outside near the pool with drinks so you could top up whenever needed! We also made plenty of use of the free cocktails in the evening. The only thing that was not so handy was because of the big resort out Villa was about a 5 minute walk away from the beach.

First day and we already got robbed 300 euros in our room in the space of a 2h exit… It announces the week… more at all confidence in the staff forced to remove the room service. Unable to close shutters properly… 2nd day impossible to get into the bathroom phone to join the reception out of service and was repaired of the week and the cards D enter do this disconnect and this all week… 3rd day A cockroach on the coffee machine of the restaurant… 4th day Direction heated swimming pool and a repairman with a jackhammer for 2 hours to try to repair the Jacuzzi but after 2h abandon the jacuzzi does not work… Fortunately we were well placed in the island with a rental car that allowed us s to move and enjoy this beautiful island well. …

Plant well. Nice bungalows. Quality of all inclusive food however very moderate. Some guests also.

The only thing I have to complain about is the taste of the food. Which is to say that everything was freshly prepared. The rooms were clean as far as there was in the beginning a dead cockroach in my room. Bathrooms are clean, pool is great and there is a separate pool for toddlers.

The property is really nice, well kept is the staff everything is very kind.
The breakfast is well assorted with the possibility of fresh squeezed orange juice is a chef for preparing to view eggs or omelets.
It is in a perfect location on the island, if you are not lazy, you can visit both the north and the south of the island by car without ever straying too far for the return.
In case you return to Fuerteventura I would definitely stay here.

Fantastic resort and great place for the family. We selected the all inclusive package and had more than we expected. All staff were great and the rooms were quite comfortable and clean. Many great amenities around and if you need to rent a car it is very easily done. We will go back.

The all inclusive is a disappointment. The wine is on tap, because it gave us by asking and they had wines in charter all-inclusive. There is only one restaurant and two swimming-pool bars that come in the AI, the other you do the 20% but you have to pay. The bars of poscina beverages limited, and the snack worst, coffee machine and others. Not worth the All Inclusive.

Very attentive and all very clean and organized.

The superior room expectacular large with 2 terraces and a balcony with views of the pool and the beach. We were half board and it was a mistake. The breakfast very avarage saves the tortillas French and the fruit and variety of bread. The coffee terrible, the pastries are dry, bacon is very salty and sausages ciclosas. The dinners were worse much cooked only saves the grilled salmon because the chicken isn't wise to anything, and the white rice. Do not change the menu of the dinner. Eats best in the village at The Horseshoe with some pizzas and salads rich. A good coffee at caffe Nero. We were recommended the hotel burger from the Normay in the port within the complex and not recommended. Take a long time, they rolled with the commandos of 5 months which were the ones that were. He saves only the capresse salad with a pesto sauce, very rich.

A very large Resort surrounded by greenery and a few meters from the beach. Ideal for families it has different swimming pools and different types of bungalows. It offers several possibilities: Only accommodation, B&B, half board and all inclusive. All bungalows have a kitchen, bedroom, lounge, terrace/balcony. The staff is very friendly and creates a family atmosphere.

Indoor air-conditioning units very dirty in the exhaust duct. Very bad for a nice resort. Older.

We were robbed yesterday in our room while we were there.
The hotel has done nothing for us only to go and complain.
They maintain that they do not have access to the cameras while throughout the site you see panels "area under surveillance", "camera" etc…
It took "crying" the next day to get access to the safe in the room. The manager asked us for a bail while we were robbed of wallet and cellphone!
The person in charge always talks to you with two laptops in his hands. And tells you that you have insurance. (which is not the case. Do not do as we take insurance).
Result feeling of insecurity, we leave without a laptop and without identities.

The window door of the terrace had entered open some cm. A specify that to go through the terrace you had to either walk on your pebbles (so say noise) or step over the Transat while knowing that the neighbour was also on her terrace so it greatly reduces the passing through the terrace.
For my entrance door it was closed (usual reflex) and at the flight of thief we found it open and our cards that was inside farther to the ground.
Our choice not to change rooms this justifies by the fact that people have had their apartment also visit and that staying in the same apartment reduces the risk of being flown 2 times in the same place.

For us it's been a very quiet place, beautiful, relaxing. Very good service and good food. Close to quiet beach, suitable for children. Apartments for all tastes. We will return with pleasure.

Well located facility with some personnel and organisational weaknesses. Service in the dining room very limited and the Tischhygienie is cruel. All over the tables rubber pads or similar which can only be wiped briefly moist. Cutlery parts are often missing. Food is average and repeats every few days. Bungalows so far ok but almost everywhere cockroaches. Animation is very effort and friendly. Evening programme rather simply designed. All in all you have to get almost everything yourself as there is almost no operating service. The running by the pool are apparently cleaned only once a year and are at the sea cost extra. The room safe costs €42 for 14 days.
Overall, I will not visit this facility any more and do not recommend it to anyone. There are just too many vulnerabilities.

We spent a few days last week and it was wonderful. Bungalow two bedrooms close to all services of the hotel. Impeccable. Is in first line of beach with a good promenade and a good atmosphere at night with entertainment for the younger kids. Recommended both for families as well as romantic.

We have stayed here 3 times now, and love it. It is a good 4 star in our opinion. The staff are lovely, especially the mini club staff who are fabulous! Food is good, though can get repetitive in the AI after a week or so, but I find that with all AI's. Apartments are clean, well maintained and spacious. Cleaned and fresh towels daily, with fresh bedding every 3 days. We will be back next year!

Great hotel complex right on the beach, surrounding the castle. Accommodation is in private suites or bungalows so each room / bungalow has its own terrace or balcony. The decor is modern and beds very comfortable. The complex is beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. On arrival, we were upgraded to a premium suite in the royal area. This area has its own pool and bar. Buffet meals are served in a spacious restaurant. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets have been excellent. The staff, without exception, have been amazing. They are always welcoming, helpful and go the extra mile. All this with a genuinely cheerful demeanor. I would definitely recommend Barceló Castillo Beach Resort. It suits families of young and older children, as well as couples of all ages.

The breakfast buffet is incredible, a vast range of options and all well cooked. The pools are lovely (they are salt water). The site has plenty of maps and is well sign-posted. The room is well appointed.

When we arrived we were so disappointed with the bungalow it was at the back of the resort and there was no sunlight at all. We spoke to reception staff and the next day we were moved to another bungalow which is superb. The food at the restaurant is fab and has a massive choice of food. We have found staff to be polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort for a holiday x.

Second time staying at the apartments. Great place, accommodation and food. Unfortunately slightly let down on this occasion by the mess left by all the roadworks running past the hotel. Not quite sure that the things left on the side of the road live up to health and safety standards. Not the fault of the hotel though. Still recommend.

Been to better. Came here all inclusive. Not a good experience. Good selection of food but all of it luke warm at best. Dining room poorly laid out with people dashing frantically about dodging each other. Food at the poolside bars uncovered drying up and exposed to flies. Half a mile walk from our accommodation to the dining room. Evening entertainment aimed at children even after 9.00pm. Won't be coming back in a hurry!

Marcello Castillo was a great holiday for us. There was roadworks at the time but this had no impact on the holiday at all. The food was nice in the all inclusive restaurant, and the apartments were very comfortable and clean. I would happily visit again.

The apartments are really super. The best you can find on all Fuerteventura and not at all expensive.

Just returned from a weeks stay loved the resort didn't really explore any further which gives us a good excuse to return.
Couple of points an extra mirror in the bedroom would be helpful as all trying to get ready in the 1 mirror is a no no!
Great location of our bungalow a little tired in decor so would love to see that next time.
Food&entertainment where great the pirate entertainment on the harbour was fun my soon enjoyed it the boat trip was fab.
All in all a great holiday.
Also my son left his lion in the sofa bed and the hotel located it and are posting it back to us thank you see you again.

We have just returned from our third holiday here last week and have already booked another, our fourth in less than two years. That in itself speaks volumes, we have never previously returned to any hotel!
The location is perfect, the staff friendly and very helpful, food delicious, accommodation brilliant… roll on our next holiday!

We have just got home for a weeks stay at this wonderful resort and cannot fault it. The children who are 4 and 7 had an amazing time too and especially loved the mini club, especially jade, Christina and Anna who made them feel so welcome and they loved the variety of activities the club offered. Which allowed mummy and daddy to chill in the sun without needing eyes in the back of our heads! Friendly staff, great food and wonderful evening entertainment too, the entertainers put so much into everything they do and the shows were enjoyed by all of us, they are a real credit to the resort. Will hopefully be returning next year, thanks.

Just got home from one of the best holidays we've ever had. We travelled as a family and had an amazing holiday. Kids loved it. Clean, polite staff, fantastic food and drink. Perfect beach and pools. Highly recommend this resort. Will be coming back again.

Rooms are a bit dated but the complex is great.

The weather was bad, very windy with clouds and rain, but the place was lovely, welcoming, and the entertainment saved our holiday. Food was good every day and didn't have any problems at all. The mini club was a heaven sent otherwise our daughter would have been very disappointed.

Great visited in December for short break with just the wife for her 40th, liked it so much we are taking the kids this August.

I spent a week in this hotel with my family and I have to admit that we were really very good.

Bungalows are lovely and clean, staff very friendly but self catering is difficult due to poor equipment levels.

We have been here last september and we loved it. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good food, good weather. We booked all inclusive and it was completely worth it. There is a chance we go back, which is something normally never do.
The only problem we encountered was that when it's really bust, staff can't cope. One tip to the managers: create a seperate lounge or dining area for the entertainers. They now have their diner in the buffetrestaurant at the same time as the hotel guests.

Amazing location and beautiful scenery. The food is delicious and different everyday. They also occasionally run a BBQ which is really nice too. The pools are good. They are mostly salt water but there is one chlorine pool. We didn't encounter any drunk/rowdy guests and there was a warm friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. We had trouble with cold showers the first week we stayed but they quickly relocated us when we complained. There were also a number of occasions where insects (large cockroaches etc. ) were found in our bungalow but preventative measures had been taken and this was just due to the area, not uncleanliness. All staff were friendly and did their best to help you. It would help if you knew at least the basics in Spanish as a few staff members struggled with English. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful hotel we loved to me and my family. Very good cleaning service is very good. The area is lively, with several shopping centres. I would spend my holidays there.

Expensive unreliable Wi-Fi internet service. 25 Euro per week per device. These days internet connection should be free for resort guests.

We were only in the thalasso, without staying.
