Very good value for money! The hotel might be only two stars, but it offers a lot: The location cannot be better, it's close to Puerta Del Sol and Gran Via, positioned on a pedestrian street, full of restaurants, cafés and shops. The rooms are nice, they have balconies with a fantastic view of Madrid's rooftops. Late in the night, one might come upon some ladies, but nothing to set you worried. Recommended!

Perfect hotel for a city trip to madrid, the location is right in the centre of the city. With the metro stop in front of the hotel you can easily move around. The hotel has a nice rooftop with views of the city. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The only downside was that the rooms had no mini refrigerators.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. It is so centrally located that you can walk to all attractions in madrid from it. I highly recommend and would definitely say here again if I ever come back to madrid.

Great location if you are looking for a central area. Modernly decorated rooms. They don't have a fridge. There is a seating, breakfast and dinner area on the first floor that can be used with your own food. 100% Recommended.

The practice Metropol was great. It is located right on the Gran Via stop and is therefore super connected. Of course, there was a certain volume because right in the pedestrian zone, but once the windows were to be, there was nothing left to hear about it. It was really quiet to yourself. It was all clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are genuinely decorated in a beautiful style just as much as the bathroom. We were very satisfied, happy again! Price performance TOP! ABSOLUT is awesome the roof terrace, in the last pictures I tried at least to capture the great view!

You can say it is expensive but the location and the spectacular views of your terrace make you forget the price.
The staff is very attentive and the rooms spacious, although it is missing something else in the windows so that the room can be dark on sunny days.
The lounge on the first floor, where the reception is, is beautiful, spacious and beautifully decorated.
I would highlight, among all aspects of the hotel, its terraces; The lower one has hammocks and a shower and many floors.
The superior, which is accessed by the spiral staircase, is formed by two spaces communicated by another "hallway-terrace" and all have tables, hammocks and chairs.
The views are of the best in the city, spectacular.

Great central location, rooms are modern and clean. Excellent rooftop area just for hotel guests. No bar or service up there but you can take up your own food and drinks and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Quiet and clean. Nice terrace on the 9th floor. But do not take car… difficult to get by works on the streets and expensive parking.

Good place to stay. I don't have any queha. They give exactly what they offer on the web.

Small hotel with stylish lobby in a very central location right next to a subway Station. Rooms were clean and in the bathroom there was a rain shower. Staff was friendly.

It deserves 5 stars for the reception, the location, the usability, the environment… everything minimal but cared for and young. Typical Nordic Design, small but well-structured rooms, well soundproofed with the outside; Special attention to cleanliness and customer. Receptive Hall, where you can stop and even eat small meals with friends. Espresso coffee, precise with Nespresso waffles at a cost of €1. Always quiet, you can also work using available spaces with excellent views on one of the main streets of Madrid. Only negative point the discharges of the upper floors feel! … concluding excellent choice and compromise quality/price in the centre of Madrid.

Great location. Convenient to shopping and Metro. Lots of eating options nearby. Street-side rooms suffer from street noise and police sirens at night, especially at weekends. No eating facilities in the hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wonderful panoramic views from the roof.

Hotel ideally located in the heart of the center of Madrid. The two main strengths are its rooftop terrace and its geographical location. Room a little small but functional. Perfect for a short stay in the capital.

Very central compared to the sites to visit, the fast food restaurants and the shops of the most famous fashion chains. Informal and in total freedom. Clean and modern. Recommended!

The central location basically everything at your fingertips. Staff available and with good treatment. The reception and lounge very cozy. On the ninth floor you can enjoy a terrace with amazing view of Madrid. Clean room and comfortable bed.
The heating even though it was cold outside was too hot in all parts. Bad they offer a breakfast service with extra payment at a nearby bar that is not enthusing.

The staff was very kind. The rooms are clean and well decor. The hotel is in a great location! In the middle of everything…! Totally recommedned!

Not exceptional: No bar area impossible to have TV in French impossible to have breakfast in the room relatively expensive for the service provided.

Great place. Very affordable and — as the name implies — very practical. It has nothing but the basics but the best of those. And a super good location with a lovely rooftop garden in the centre of Madrid on the Gran Via. What’s not to love? Clever design and huge bed with French doors opening onto the street made our room exactly what we wanted. We’ll be back for sure.

A very nice decor a beautiful and cozy living room. Very artistic hallways and a delightful rooftop with views at 360 °. Little room for clothes and little room to put the make-up. Overall good. The only deficiency is that the breakfast is arranged in a cafeteria which is not very nice.

Even though the room is not for throwing rockets, and the bathroom leaves much to be desired, the location is perfect for spending a few days on vacation, and there is a lot of noise all day long. It has a beautiful terrace to enjoy good views of Madrid.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was really good! They rooms are very nice and comfortable, you have your roomed cleaned every day with new towels! The rooms are small but cosy and the bathrooms are amazing, shower is great and you also get free shampoo and soap You have the lobby with very nice layout together with the reception that is always open. That have a roof terrace with two floors, view over Madrid and the streets below, there are tables and sun beds that you can sit at as well You can buy breakfast for 6 euros or English breakfast for 8. These are served in the restaurant beside the hotel named tapa tapa and is very tasty and good! We tried the one for €6 and then you receive coffee, orange juice, sandwich and something extra of your choice.

My experience was wonderful. I intend to repeat for sure. Excellent location, spacious room, clean, comfortable, one triple for three girls and had two full bathrooms, we were delighted. The reception and common area is spacious, cozy, you can have free coffee, bring your food and eat it, use the computer to print your tickets and also, has a terrace with views that you can not miss! 100% recommended.

The Hotel Praktik Metronom is located super centrally located on Calle de la Montera.
The metro station is located right on the square. The house impresses with its beautiful façade. Rooms are also stylishly furnished. The reception is open for 24hours and is located on the first floor. Free Wlan is included. The entrance is guarded by a security service. The rooms are not particularly large but clean and modern. A closet, bed, two small desserts etc. The sink was in the room, toilet and shower were in a small side room. The view is great. At the hotel you have to know that it's really down to a hotspot. The double windows offer protection, but when life awakens in the evening, things can get a little louder on Calle de la Montera. The air conditioning also sometimes causes some noise. We were in Madrid at Christmas time. You have to get used to the typical thin Spanish bed varnishes in winter. Two wool blankets from the cupboard helped out though.
The highlight is the roof terrace on the 9 floor. From here you have a fantastic view over the city. Access is available to any hotel guest with a room card. Breakfast is not available at the hotel itself. However, you can buy a voucher at the hotel for 5 or 8, 50 euros respectively. You can redeem it directly in the tapas bar next door. There is a typical Spanish breakfast. Bacon with fried egg. O juice, croissants etc.

Bad experience at the hotel. I stayed for one night and despite some positive things (central location and original décor), the whole experience was negative. The worst, the shower did not have hot water. What surprised me a lot, more still being stayed on the ninth floor, in some rooms supposedly superior to the rest. Also, on one occasion I tried to consult the front desk I had to wait more than ten minutes to appear someone there, and that was no time untimely, eleven o'clock in the morning. In short, bad hotel I would not recommend for anything.

Central location close to Grand Via metro. Friendly staff and cosy lobby. It has a rooftop terrace with excellent view. Room was cosy, however not sound proof. You can hear people talking loudly outside. The only problem was the toilet had a smell. Bed was comfy. Storage place for luggage.

While there is barely enough space to put your suitcases, this place has charm. The lobby is quaint the room is clean. Balcony is fantastic and a wonderful getaway for great views and peace and quiet. It's a perfect location and right next to Metro. So if need a westernized spacious hotel it's not for you but if you want a practical, comfortable room that is chic at a great price, go for it. Btw, the hall lights are sensored to go on/off automatically so don't be alarmed if you start walking down a dark hallway. They do pop on. Great visit.

Stayed in the Sky room, 9th floor next to the terrace. Spacious room, well kept and clean, huge bed and a shower with a floor to ceiling glass wall so you can look down at the prostitutes outside McDonalds as you shower. Don't worry, the glass around your privates is frosted so no one can see. Despite the prostitutes, the area is very central and busy and there is lots to do nearby. And if you happen to want a prostitute well then there you go, and throw in a Big Mac.

Wonderful terrace on the 9th floor with sun loungers. The terrace is open from 9.00-24.00.

Nice small hotel in the heart of Madrid.

Stayed here on two separate occasions. Great location central to many things. They had complimentary mobile Wi-Fi hotspot I was able to use for duration of stay. Small rooms but enjoyed both my stays.

The room was smelly. Noise of flushing water from other rooms. No curtains to block the outdoor lights. No good blankets, and no comfortable pillows. We ordered one twin bed but the beds were separated so you fall between them. Pros: the desk girl was very nice and informative. Nice terrace for the hotel and porch in the room. The location is perfect! The lobby is very designed and welcoming.

The location of the hotel was very good, location in the center of the city, could not be more perfect. Design of the hotel is great, prices are very reasonable, so I booked this hotel without hesitation. In order to see better scenery, the room we booked a corner position, proved spent a lot of money but I really value-for-money. Room size, among other things, but the views from this room really is great, surprise room wasn't noisy. But there is a big problem, it's clean enough.

Staff were very helpful, showing us all the attractions, as well as the Madrid app on your phone. Hotel is a non-traditional, very clean and our room was great. We can admire the panorama door open there will be noise, at night, double glass isolation outside voices. Bed is very large, bathroom very modern and very spacious! Only drawback is the sewer sometimes emitting a stench, floated into the room. …

I have just got back from Madrid and stayed at The Praktik and I could not fault it or the staff one bit! The room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and it was very very clean, the staff were really friendly too. We did though have a problem one night where there was no hot water but with just one call to reception they got on it straight away and had hot water back on within 30 mins on a Sunday! If you are looking for a central location and value for money then I promise this hotel will be perfect for you. I will definitely be going back.

Praktik Hotel metropol, a charming vintage in the Centre of Madrid.
The reception and the rest of the hotel area is located on the first floor of a building located on the Gran Vía, hidden from the hustle Street.
A large number of armchairs upholstered in fabrics of Scottish tartans scattered next to the windows, as well as the Chester located next to the fireplace invite guests to enjoy moments of relaxation and rest, as well as the large communal table invite you to share a coffee with friends or with other guests of the hotel.
The rooms are on different floors of the same building, shared with other accommodation, so each plant an imposing wooden gate gives access to the area to distribute access to the various rooms.
The aesthetics of the room follows the style vintage of the reception area. White paneled walls, a stunning aged wooden floor, impressive lamp mouille of four arms and a leather armchair are the main elements that make that a cold and impersonal hotel room makes you feel like in your own room or even better! Auxiliary furniture and furnishing accessories have been perfectly chosen following the same aesthetic without leaving no detail to improvisation.

I have had the opportunity to climb to the roof to be able to view photographs and they are spectacular. I have not stayed at the hotel, but the staff and what facilities vi I liked a lot. I've seen prices on their website and they are pretty good, in addition most central impossible, next to the Gran Via.
If you staying you in it ask for the roof and enjoy the Telefónica building in foreground, part of the Gran Vía, las Torres de Colón, the Círculo de Bellas Artes and above all, the oldest area, the Madrid de los Austrias. You can play guess to whom belong all these domes and find the main square from the heights. Without a doubt, a "different way" of seeing the city.

Location, very cordial treatment, rooms and shared areas clean and also a cafeteria and a roof that gives taste to be in them. For the price that has not ask more! Highly recommended.

The price-performance ratio is awesome. The room is very small, but the clever division of the forgotten. Located in the middle of everything is quite new, and made for a perfect short stay. A lot of Fun here.

To be a medium-quality hotel, i. E. Three-star, this very well. It is very central and is worth. The service is pretty good and you care and you change of linens every day. I pass a weekend and the truth I'm not complaining of anything. Price is a little more expensive because the Center, but viable for young people.

Sadly I can't rate any higher than excellent, IF I COULD I WOULD. This is the best place I have stayed in Madrid. The rooms are great, the staff are so kind and helpful and staying here is a wonderful experience. I've stayed in many places in this city from 2 to 5 stars and this beats them all! I Will recommend this place to anyone who wants a place with personality and yet receive good service. Give it a try, it's home from home. I loved it.
