Hostal Pacios Hostel

The worst. Noisy, grumpy owners, bunks like those of the Mili, plugs that release sparks, bad cleaning, dirty, full of guiris drunk. But! It's all over the center and it's not very expensive. Value if you compensate price for quality. If it's just for the night, it's good for you but wear plugs.

Ideal place to stay in the heart of Madrid, very central to everything. At the start we were expecting a worse pension, but chaped.

It's a ñittle but comfortable place. In the center of Madrid and close to a lot of civic and historical monuments.

Grumpy, unfriendly owner (? ). Doesn’t speak any word other then spanish and doesn’t even try.

The place is a bit old but clean, a greeting for Yiyi ejjejejjjjjj~jeje.

Noisy, unfriendly, controller and asked, the room with good views but noise from the street, noise from the adjoining office and the entrance door to the hostel next to the room. The shared bathroom clean but with moisture and water with little force for all the showers. We Booked two rooms and one of them despite having the confirmation we had not booked it, so we had to look elsewhere for the rest of the group with the hassles and time it supposes. We Listen to discussions of other clients with problems in their reservation. The best, Central, two steps from the Puerta del Sol. From rest, do not gamble and book somewhere else to avoid surprises.

Muxo noise, and the Lord is very unfriendly and rude… One of the days there was no water pressure and I couldn't shower.

Horrible and aggressive welcome, terrible structure, very low heating, broken windows windy room, killing odor, indecent place and sarcastic manager.

Very central and cheap are two of the elements that make it a possible choice if you go to Madrid. Yes, this is an old building (the elevator was broken making it impossible to access the second floor which is where you access anyone with mobility problems or large suitcases).
They only offer a set of keys. The bathrooms are external to the rooms.
Heating very well, really. Normal beds. Our room looked out on Atocha Street and there was enough noise out there.
The smell of the room a little strange, to people locked up.
It goes well if you are little fussy and low budget.

Cheap hostel in the center. Affordable prices, Example: 2 nights, 40 euros per person. Owner something serious but very polite. Unique paste, no common kitchen like other hostels, common bathrooms. I always usually repeat every time I go to Madrid.

Well to spend one night, we slept well and no problem. We have practically not seen the owner, but when we had some doubt helped us. A place with no more, small room and no amenities. But very well located.

This is an affordable place to stay. Kept clean. Good location. Lift available but small (2 people max). Bad internet inside room.

Price, good value, good location and quiet.

The location is perfect. Full Calle Atocha from where you can easily reach Plaza Mayor, but also the Paseo del Prado. Pity that the owner is a rude first class. Indifferent to all requests. The rooms are tiny. Without any comfort. Ours looked out onto the inner courtyard where they were doing some work from 8:30 in the morning. Impossible to rest. Beds. Calle Atocha is full of hostels. I hope others are a bit more quality.

Tiniest room. Shower didn't work.

A site it is absolutely horrible starting with the owner who is aggressive, edge man and swindler, following by the waste that is working for the and continuing along the rooms that are tiny, dirty, if you go in summer you drown heat, do not forget that you hear people up to go to the bathroom because the walls are paper. My worst experience of a hotel in madrid! DON'T GO TO THIS SITE. And if guys of go away before your money and tell you to give back the money that let them your credit tatjeta and come back the next day. Their eggs! scammers!

Very good quality for the price.

The only good thing q has is the site. It smelled bad, the bathroom dirty and did not allow to sleep by the noise q to the home with their friends, who were partying in the hostel, bothering people who needed to rest to go to be examined of a competition.

Hostal Pacios gave me one of the scariest experiences of my life. Not only was it just a dump to begin with (the only good part about it was the location, and that it was close to this amazing bakery down the street, ) but the second night that me and my two friends were staying there, somehow an older homeless man got buzzed in to the building. There were some girls from Argentina staying in the room next to us, so he banged on their door for about an hour as they screamed at him in Spanish until walking around the common area sniffling loudly and seemingly crying. Then we heard footsteps near our room, and he starts rattling out door knob and pleading with us to open the door. The woman who owns the hostal came down and told him if he didn't leave, she'd call the cops. He didn't leave, no cops came until the Argentinean girls called and when they came, the man who owns the hostal came down and yelled at them for calling the cops — saying they should have called reception, first. How ridiculous does that sound? Oh, no, don't worry I won't call the cops after YOU carelessly buzz a strange old homeless man into your hostal and he comes upstairs and starts harassing and scaring the hell out of everyone — don't worry, completely unnecessary you're right. Needless to say, the guy was a complete asshole about the girls calling the cops. But anyway, it was a dump and the service was horrible. Do NOT stay here if you want to live.
