Great Place to stay when you are in Madrid, luxury is redefined with the Mandarin and specially the historical Ritz.

I’ve never tasted such inedible food in my life. My friends and myself decided to TREAT ourselves while in Madrid to dinner at the ritz. I asked for steak and was told it wasn’t part of the menu for that particular menu. Meanwhile the people at the next table were being served steak and chips. This was after paying £75 pounds per head for the most awful tasting menu. We had originally booked for the garden restaurant but rain forced us instead. One of my dishes was inedible and a replacement dish was offered to which I declined. But it was brought out to me anyway and it was worse. I would suggest you get another chef In before you go bankrupt.

Outstanding 2 night stay. Staff were friendly and professional. The facilities including the spa are breathtakingly beautiful. I will be back!

It was fantastic as the old Ritz, but has changed a lot with the new owners. It was magnificent, now reminds me those hotels for nouveau riches; has lost its class and grandeur. I had chosen now fthe Wellington, which is an elegant and refine hotel as it was the Ritz before.

Well what to say? Everything was as expected nearly perfect. When we arrived we parked directly outside the hotel and the car was left there so they could keep an eye on it (it's a Ferrari). Check in was very easy, room was great, room service, breakfast, the bar and restaurant all great. Checkout was easy all in all a great stay and next time we are in Madrid we will stay again.

Wonderful experience all around. No matter who you are or where you come from, the moment you step through the door you feel and are treated like a five star client. We loved the old-fashioned, but well kept decor, the food and above all the service. We could hear music from a wedding reception in our room at night, and the night concierge went out of her way to make us more comfortable. In addition, we were treated to the delicious breakfast AND a wonderful afternoon tea free of charge. That's what I call dedication and service. We will definitely return.

The best place to spend Christmas eve. Old world elegance and great cocktails.

Very Elegant hotel, not like the modern hotels I would say. I noticed when I was give a huge key instead of a key card. But overall it was so different and unique for me. The ritz is located in a very convenient area. Very walkable with cafes around. The room was decorated with a timeless classy feel. And the door man just makes you feel very welcome.

I loved it here. Very chic, cosy, glamorous environment, comfortable lovely rooms, good food, and very helpful friendly staff starting from the doorman. Afternoon tea is also a must.

I went to the Ritz for my company's Christmas party. Almost everything was great, the food, the drinks, the service, the location. The only bad thing was an hour and a half long wait at the coat check when we were leaving to get our coats.

Very Vonito I have visited several times every year boy at these parties with my daughter and my granddaughter. But this year the service not to state to the height of a Hotel of its category, I'm sorry because I go twice a month because my economy will not let me go anymore, (8 € a coffee) and always great service first the pasta that you put the sugar and then the coffee, yesterday we had to ask, I do not feel because I always recommend it because although it is expensive worth paying for what you snack yesterday two chocolates with churros and a coffee €44 all good less service.

Friendly & helpful staff on arrival. We only stayed for drinks but always go there when we are in Madrid. I looked into El Prado whilst my partner sat & read the paper! I love the decor & listening to the grand piano whilst chilling, a bit of old world charm.

The building is quite decent, there is a pool and inside is quite beautiful and expensive. All would be nothing if not one case. We extended the hotel and left for a short while leaving the suitcases in the room almost assembled. When returning for a long time could not get to the hotel because of the holiday, but did not panic as they knew that the hotel had been extended. When we entered the room, horrified, our suitcases were pereryty, and the things that were left on the tables and stuff stupidly thrown out. The room is not clear why prepared for other guests! Terrible staff! A terrible hotel! Never come back here! If it were possible to put (-5) stars, I would put them.

It is the second time I have come to the Ritz and I can say that this is a fantastic hotel with a service to the height of its fame. The location is very strategic as it is in front of the Prado and a short distance from the centre and the transportation. The staff is professional and helpful to make you feel at ease at any time. The common areas are elegant and well cared for, the breakfast is great and there is a garden to enjoy a great outdoor dinner. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts. I mean, the Ritz in Madrid is a certainty!

Right in the heart of the city center, the Ritz is one of the most beautiful architecture in Madrid. With its quarter-circle shape, it is visible from all around. The hotel posted a sign on its wish to see refugees coming.

As always during the transit on the terrace in the restaurant Goya ate and enjoyed the incomparable scenery and ambiance. Drinks and service top, only the food lacks partly the last ounce.

We had a tranquil lunch outdoors, while pianist played on the terrace. You would never believe the garden terrace was at a busy roundabout.

Unforgettable place to spend at least once in your life a moment of your own existence.

The service is seamless and restaurant Goya provides the best food in Madrid. Unfortunately, the room is very old fashion even well maintained. There is smell of aged, water pressure is un-stable and bath room is relatively small for a 5 stars hotel. I will come back for the food but won't stay in the room.

Incredibly Poor quality cocktails in the garden. Go elsewhere and spend your money on real quality cocktails made by people who know what they are doing and take pride in it. Cocktails are an art form and anyone pretending to know how to make them stands out a mile — as is evident at the overpriced Ritz.

If you're looking for a posh hotel to stay at in Madrid, the Ritz is definitely a strong contender. Yes, the decoration is opulent and gaudy, but what do you expect from a 5-star luxury hotel? I stayed for one night and had a great time. The room was very nice, the bed was comfy and the champagne breakfast in the morning was a nice way to end my stay at the Ritz. At the breakfast table we were waited on hand and foot whilst enjoying live piano music in the background. The buffet consisted of all the usual elements you would expect to find in a continental breakfast (fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh juice, bread, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. ) plus the addition of champagne of course. It wouldn't be the Ritz without some bubbles! If you wanted to you could order different dishes from the menu too (omelettes, eggs benedict, etc. ). If you're not on a tight budget and wish to splash out on your stay in this wonderful city, I say go ahead and put on the Ritz.

When I get to the hotel lobby, I try to go unnoticed as an artist. I don't want be NTR (not type Ritz) and having to take a taxi to go to the Palace Hotel.
I like to breathe the musical notes of the piano of the terrace and the lights turn on to the middle of the afternoon room 302 to see the brother of Jupiter and Pluto, Neptune.

Coffee in the Hotel Ritz is prove that good service, friendly piano music, classic decoration in a spacious living room with the floor covered in carpet and authentic pendant lamps. The living room is full of low tables with armchairs and a sofa to make it even more pleasant coffee time.
The coffee is served with pasta in tray, silver and tableware vintage, accompanied by napkins, price €8. But worth it, for the excellent service, the music of the pianist and that rancid lineage, class and elegance that gives off this hotel.
