Incredible gastronomic experience! The salmorejo with the Parmesan ice cream is out of this world! For entrees we had oxtail, hake, cod with ratatouille and cochinillo (suckling pig). Unreal how good this food was. The staff was so helpful, knowledgeable and downright friendly. A night to remember. We will be back when we come back to Madrid. ❤️

That's great! As they have preserved the old underground and protected wall with crystals to give atmosphere to a living room surrounded by wooden corralas and coffered beams in the same hotel where it is located, it is inn.
A large wine library and a good place to stop.

We've only been there with the intention of taking a poster and the truth that Super great. The top of the restaurant are rooms. Very cozy place with history worth investigating. Excellent and attentive service. Good price and very rich food. 100% recommended, we will repeat for sure.

I don't want to tell you about this place! I want it all to myself. Amazing, beautiful, well equipped and the views!

I loved it, they have turned a place with a lot of history and old, in a place where the new and the modern with the old are combined. Very good price, ideal for eating or chopping something. Very good food.

Stayed here 3 nights, staff was friendly and helpful. The room had an original interior above the restaurant with a cool style, comfy bed and the cleaning was excellent. Really nice shower and the location is exceptional! You are in the best food district, right outside the door! Did not try the restaurant but we got a welcome drink on arrival, a really nice touch!

One of the best restaurants in Madrid. Inside is pretty awesome. With the wall under your feet and be able to enter a typical corral of Madrid. I would highly recommend your French toast, a delight.

Ideal place to try a Real Madrid stew. They have a very wide selection of wines. The portions are super abundant and the price the truth that very good. We were more than comfortable. The room is very nice and the hotel is very good.

The food is very good. But they charge you for the bread they charge 5 euros for each basket, and it enters little and is of low quality. If you're going to eat cooked better during the week. The weekend goes up to 28 pax.

A beautiful place, combining Madrid-style accommodation around a covered patio and restaurant. The letter is not very long but the things that Cook make it well. For putting a but, the price of the wines, high. Very good attention. In short, fully recommended.

Located in an emblematic neighborhood of Madrid, La Latina, it has a great restaurant, very cozy and nice decoration, with a large mural of the roofs of Madrid. The food is not cheap, but the portions and the toasts are very good and well priced, although they are not big. The attention is very good and has a great wine list and a cellar under the floor that can be seen through the same that in a part of the restaurant is glass.

The privileged and original site, in a charming neighbourhood. I do not know the accommodations, we were dining and the reading of the letter, everything we ate was very good, we deduce there was, normal kitchen and kitchen for tourists, which was not so good looking. To emphasize the very high prices of the wines. I understand there's a margin to be taken, but not passed.

Local restored on the remains of the old wall that can be seen through a glass floor. The food we ordered, of pecking, was fine, without being extraordinary. Friendly. Friendly atmosphere.

The hotel is very nice and modern. We requested a room with a sofa bed because we were 4 and got an extra bed instead of the couch so we all rested better. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the room was clean when we received it. We got a complimentary drink at the bar and the food was very rich. They have a restaurant, we didn't eat there but it was always crowded and the menu looked rich. The staff is very friendly and friendly, always smiling and willing to help us and recommend places to visit. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit Madrid!

We loved it! Good reception. The staff was very attentive and discreet. The hotel is easy to reach to the city centre. Not even 10 minutes from the Plaza de Mayor. Public transport nearby. A real favorite for this old renovated Inn, striking beams, a view of the cellar with a floor in glass. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the salty à la carte, good food with fresh and good food! For a last minute getaway, we do not regret our choice.

Food without any charm. Grilled poorly cooked and tasteless. Eggs with ham too cooked and with as many potatoes as stars there is in the firmament a moonless night on the mountain… We didn't eat dessert for the above. The count was a nail. We will not go again or under suspicious recommendations of one of his waiters that we were going to run out of food because everything was up (now we know the reason that there was a table in this place…)

Poor kitchen (croquetas very greasy). No noise in the bar after midnight because of the hotel rooms!

I was treated great and as I am allergic to some foods were not inconvenient to change them for others, going to menu closed.
The broken eggs scarce… to divide between three: an egg a pizco of ham or ratatouille or gluttons and a lot of frozen potato.

Refined and sought after Cuisine. Semi Gourmet. The prices are very affordable for this kind of cuisine and the place deserves to be detoured. The team is good advice and likes are craft.

Excellent value for money (by booking from Internet)! The room is large and beautifully finished, in a newly renovated structure that reconciles modernity (heated floors) with ceilings with wooden beams and stairs overlooking an inner courtyard where there is the common area. Very friendly staff.

Ideal for dining or tapas. Adequate prices and excellent service. You can see part of the Old city wall of the 12th century.

Awesome location and history. The floors in the restaurant are glass and show the historical wall they found when renovating the building.

Beautiful hotel, location, rooms. Everything was awesome and have no hesitation recommending the hotel. The kids said it was the best hotel ever.

Good value for money. The piglet of the best I've ever tasted. The delicious marinated salmon. Highly recommended the dessert of "French toast" accompanied by cinnamon ice cream, very, very good. The attention on the part of the staff very good and attentive at all times to that everything was correct. Recommended.

The restaunt is cheap and has amazing food. The hotel bedrooms have all the nesesities, a queen bed, a full size murphy bed, mini fridge, and bathroom. Overall my experience at Posada de leon del oro was great.

All rich and of good quality. Elegant Classic shot site but modernized. It is in an old corral and with a winery that you see from the inside of the restaurant.

Had a nice coffee here. The staff was VERY friendly and it's really cool that there's a bit of history preserved under the floor (you can see through glass)

The restaurant is very nice. Through the glass on the floor you can see some ruins where they keep the wines to preserve the temperature. The food and the service I liked very much. I especially recommend the piglet.

Very nice food and service. There is a very wide variety of wines available and they also have rooms should you be interested. However check room availability ahead of time. The only weird experience was the porc year dish, but that is stricly a matter of taste. You might actually like it if you know what you're getting into.

A wonderful, unique hotel in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. Very friendly and helpful staff. The gentleman at the front desk allowed us to check in very early, as our room was ready. We were so thankful after an all night flight. The room was great with a balcony and comfy king size bed and great shower. Hotel has an incredible wine selection and the breakfast buffet was excellent! We enjoyed Madrid so much were already planning our next visit and we will definitely be booking at Posada del León de Oro.

Hotel, restaurant and tapas bar. The place is very authentic, because it retrieves a patio of lights as a corrala. The tapas are innovative. Although something high companies price.

It will be an amazing and unique hotel, if you live in the right room. However, no outside-facing Windows in the room where I live. The single window (if you can call it Windows it) towards the inside, and only a few inches from the balcony, which means that you can't open it, and the curtains have been drawn. Room very small, shower room was small for little people.

This hotel has been an inn for decades, offers on its ground floor an attractive restaurant/enoteca. Part of a wall cristina has become part of the decor of the room which has a wine list with more than 300 references. You can have lunch or dinner tapas, and also in the table where the price of the account will go up. Both things are worth.

Excellent food and a great deal, a quality VERY reasonable price and it is recommended that the suckling pig, the texture that makes the skin so crispy it makes you want to repeat 3 times, not to mention the desserts.

For connoisseurs of the good yantar without having to be a kidney. Very good atmosphere and decoration in an iconic building, reconstructed in the which has a bar, restaurant and rooms in the upper part by the inn. As for the bar, highly recommended the amount of wines to choose from that are there and the good generous amount of dishes. Delicious croquettes! The venue is an old corrala of the old Madrid. The place is a mix between the sophisticated and the story. In the corrala has tables for eating, and being open to smoke in your interior. Offers a wide selection of wines and dishes prepared. Drinks at the bar is sometimes uncomfortable for the amount of people that passes by your side. It is also a hotel and quite expensive for some.

Everytime I go to La Latina, I'm going to take the dessert and coffee. The fondant and the cheesecake is amazing. His deal is great and very good price. I always repeat.

Nice site. Good atmosphere. Good cover of accompaniment. The service is fast and efficient. We were with kids and very well could be. The wine of excellent quality. The only thing I missed was that they did not have soymilk for coffee, but nothing important taking into account that it's a wine bar.

Excellent place in the cellar floor of Madrid, for which we appreciate the power to take us a good drink with a cigarette in hand, this venue offers an indoor terrace open year-round as a playground of the old Madrid where we can sit back and relax taking a drink. The only slightly negative part, is that the prices are a little high, but is not that they are very high compared to the rest of Madrid, is simply that, in Madrid, a drink in according to that site is far too expensive.

A place nice with very good lighting and simple decor where take a beer or a wine, but somewhat expensive prices.

If you like the history of Madrid, this is your place. Located in the low cava Street, where it was one of the 3 walls that had Madrid in medieval times, we found a restaurant with authentic atmosphere of Madrid corrala. High prices, offset with good food and fine wines. A place to go at least once in life.
