Very friendly staff and great location. But very bad internet connection. Had to stay in the lobby to connect.

The hotel is nice and very comfortable, but what we rescue the most is the availability and good attention of the girls at reception, always in good spirits. We're going with a very good impression. Very good location, close to Metro and Mercado San Miguel, very central.

Fabulous location. Right breakfast. Sleep quality and room size very good. The only problem is that the room was a bit sloppy, uncovered holes where you should have appliques, the white wallpaper a little dirty and the small bathroom mirror off the hook. The staff at the front desk and great cafeteria.

The location is excellent and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. A good choice for family travel.

Very nice location close to the Puerta del Sol, decent Hotel nice room, the bathtubs do not work in everything in the hotel, the management evokes the possibility of water damage in case of forgetting the closure of the taps… Excellent breakfasts, room available from 2pm battery. Taxi Service at the same price for the airport 30 euros. Reception: English and Spanish languages. Correct price quality.

Our room smelled very strongly of cleaning supplies, so strongly that my throat hurt. They allowed us to move to another room that was better, but we still struggled with it. Staff were very helpful though in recommending places for dinner, best way to get to the airport and so on. Great location!

A very good place to stay in Madrid. Opposite San Miguel, where you can pop up to the dump and walk no longer want to go anywhere;-)

The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of town, handy for everything. Our room was clean and pleasant. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment.

It was my daughter's birthday and I commented on the reservation. They prepared a surprise with chocolate muffins, a note, a candle, colorful balloons, juice for her and her sister and Cava for me. It made us very excited. Quite a detail.

Nice hotel, helpful and polite staff, perfectly located. Doesn't have a restaurant however it does have a breakfast room and there is a menu in the room to order in from a local restaurant. Hotel is surrounded by all amenities from supermarkets and pharmacies to restaurants, bars, bakeries, Starbucks etc. The hotel does not provide hot drinks in the room and oddly has a patterned glass bathroom door, this doesn't do much for bathroom privacy. Overall pretty good experience.

Very central Hotel, in the middle of the main Street; Normal rooms, with enough use. Good breakfast, especially the healthy food part with a wide range of different products; Fruit very well, no flavor to camera or other foods; Natural orange juice. Wide and adequate variety. Very friendly staff, especially Virginia or Veronica (sorry for not remembering exactly). Reception staff very friendly and efficient, especially Sergio, with quality details that are appreciated.

Small hotel very well placed, right in front of the market San Miguel. Nice staff, good size family room and large bathroom (shower + jacuzzi tub), good breakfast buffet and small plus the Mifi at 5 Euro a day!

Very good location Everything has been perfect, the comfort of the room is perfect especially since my children slept in a wonderful bunk beds and not on a sofa bed as they usually put in the mattress is terrible and do not rest well. The bathroom very spacious and the quality of the shower is great. The perfect cleaning. For putting some glue, the high price of breakfast but still, I recommend it and if I go back to Madrid, of course we will return to the same hotel. Their very polite and professional employees.

Great hotel, very good customer service. Great care for kids with little freebies for them. Great central location perfect for various tours and for rides to the city on foot.

Excellent location. Next to Plaza Mayor. 1 min from Puerta del Sol. Very cozy. Clean rooms and especially the receptionist super friendly.

I was really pleasantly surprised. The location is great, the room was big, clean, well layout out, good hot water etc. The breakfast was way better than I expected so at this price point I cannot grumble at all. The only down side is the first impression as you enter the reception is poor. But don't be put off.

We stayed for three nights in room on 6th floor away from the Plaza Mayor — — we then returned a day later for two more nights and we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the Plaza. Our first three nights were very good and the hotel team particularly Sergio were very good, helpful and informative. No problems and comfortable room. Our second visit on the third floor was very good with the exception of the noise from the square on the first evening which continued to fairly late. On the second night we had a protest march go by the hotel which was interesting and although there was lots of noise it was early in the evening and we were out for most of the time. Overall a very comfortable hotel with a good team and well positioned for the City Centre — I don't think the noise from the street would stop us from staying again.

Not worth the money Quality of rooms is anaccepteble for 4star hotel. We have lived in two rooms: 702 and 409 Furniture is damaged, walls are dirty, bad smell in room. 3 star is maximum due to good location.

From the moment one enters the hotel the warmth and quality of the attention is wonderful.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very quiet, clean and very harmonious.

The chain of Petit Palace Hotels must have a very good training process, all their staff are helpful, professional and always smiling. They are a pleasure to be greeted by. The location of the hotel is fantastic for tourism and transport if you partake in a Big Bus Tour.

Friendly staff, slightly dirty hotel, with some broken services, breakfast was almost inedible in fact the products like croissants were stale. The overall look was nice, but there were some areas and ruined items.

Though it is not the most luxurious hotel, but it was very nice and located RIGHT in the old city. Right in the middle of everything. We would stay there again should we come back in the near future. I loved the walk in shower! Wished every hotel had them instead of the tub. The shower area needed more lighting… but this was the best shower on our trip.

Perfect location. Room was great. Check in was OK. Did not explain very well the breakfast options — made it sound as though breakfast was included yet we were charged at the end. Overall a good stay.

The staff at Petit Palace Mayor Plaza took such good care of us. We flew in from the States and arrived well before check-in time, but they were able to get us checked in early so that we could change clothes and stow bags. Plus, they upgraded our room at no additional charge. My kids loved the family style room with bunk beds. The room was spacious, location was phenomenal and everything about our stay was perfect. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

For the positive: Hotel beautifully located, a few steps from the square Mayor, in the centre of Madrid. Contemporary decor rather tasteful. Good breakfast. Unfortunately there is also negative: Home atrocious (Sergio is so unsympathetic… He should have no contact with the clientele! ). The maintenance and the finishes of the hotel leave to be desired. The bedding is very very hard. The view of some rooms on a kind of interior storeroom is unworthy of a 4 star hotel.

We could not have been happier with our stay. All of the front desk people were courteous, helpful, and informative. Especially for an urban hotel in the middle of the city, the room was well staged, with large and comfortable beds and a spacious balcony. We had someone get sick during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond with help in calling a doctor (and they even sent a "get well" plate with fruit and water). The breakfast buffet was very nice, and the service there was also very good. Our one small complaint was that our temperature control was difficult. Our room was pretty hot at night, but opening the window and door seemed to help.

Always very satisfied with the hotels Petit Palace. This one is exceptional by its location, cleanliness, quality of its rooms and bedding. A special mention for the diversity of the breakfasts and the kindness of the staff always attentive to your every desire. I highly recommend this property.

The location is very good and the staff very efficient from the reception to the breakfast staff.
On the other hand, the rooms are disappointing. Well warn that the so-called family rooms are for young children and not for teens or +.
No Wi-Fi which complicates the on-site organization and work follow-up, including for students who have homework.

— Front door was not opening always. — The hotel name attached to the facade is not Petit Palace, it was something like high tech hotel or tech hotel. I remember — The air conditioner was too noisy. — There was always a cleaning car in front of the elevator at 1st floor. — Not possible to lock the toilet door. — Uncomfortable pillows. + The location is fantastic. + Rooms are big enough for a comfortable stay. + Comfortable bed (@108) + Modern furnitures. + Gifts are nice on the bed. + Gifts after check out.

Abusive pricing policy by increasing the price of the room 50% a day for another and that only repond to changes in the market and has no account to regular customers. My experince would be very positive, thanks to the personal, but outside by this abuse in the dynamic of prices.

Excellent location Good comfort of the rooms and bathroom (a small hook in the bathroom would be welcome to hang his night linen). Excellent breakfast and nice staff. Had a great stay and have already recommended your hotel to friends.

Loved the hotel, great location, particularly with a room overlooking Calle Mayor. Parking at public car park makes moving bags difficult. Our room was always hot, regardless of what we did (other than open the windows to the noise). Breakfast was brilliant. Cleaning staff removing my half finished bottle of lemon flavoured water was annoying, as was the removal of our room key, turning off my computer.

Just a misunderstanding about the breakfast offer, but it all worked out for the best.

Happy in general, but they should put more attention to maintenance. The painting of the ceiling above the shower was peeled, and the temperature controller to a noise as short. They are small details that cannot be neglected, and that may have ruined a good image.

Good treatment (details for the children we liked), excellent breakfast, perfect location; rooms a little charged atmosphere, in my opinion. I've not liked the bath amenities (gel and shampoo) and when you shower all the water is out.

The check in process was very quick & efficient. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable! Room was nicely decorated. Room & bathroom were both very clean. If I had to niggle at something, it would be that we couldn't have any natural light in the room. We opened the curtains when we first arrived and realized the people in the building opposite us could see straight into our room! Maybe some net curtains world help?

Hotel not very competitive price if you want to meet Madrid in the economic plan because not this fact to spend the nights in any pocket, but spectacular place in terms of luxury and beauty, as hotels I know Madrid is one of the more I impacts for its great beauty on the inside and out, also has display cases with watches and jewelry to buy the bad is that they are not for all scopes.

This is a reasonably nice hotel for moderately priced accommodations in a pretty central location. I felt the value was good overall. The room was spacious and modern, and I always appreciate free Wi-Fi. It's within walking distance (5-15 mins) to the Prado, the Royal Palace, and other attractions.
