This is a great hotel if you have children. The pool is a good size, plenty of room for lots of people. There's always something to do if you want to get involved playing water polo, wipe out, darts or bowls. Staff are an asset to the hotel. From the bar staff who are always happy to see you and make you feel very welcome, to the entertainment team who are amazing. Genis and Axel went above and beyond to make our holiday an enjoyable experience. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to a nice beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the shops along the main street. Overall we had a great time and will be back again.

Accommodation is basic … myself wife and 12year old son were packed into a room the size an average couples room with 2 double beds jammed together with no space to separate them. Not an ideal setup when sharing with a near-teenager. The hotel runs a kids club for under 10 yr olds only The animation team only does 2 one-hour events a day one of which is normally water polo for the adults The one round pool is pitifully small for so many rooms. Most of the outside space is given to sunbeds There are 2 bars. Quite reasonable. The staff are very hardworking however the entire complex is suffering from a lack of investment and proper maintenance A good 10 days but I will not be coming back to this hotel chain.

They don't feed well. Foods. Fruits are shop apples, unripe pears peaches, a little melon and cut into slices, untreated pineapples (the core is not cut, in general). They started giving watermelon. There's the internet. Everywhere in the hotel. We live in a room of three people. A week it does not reach the workers that three sets of towels are needed. The second day there is no soap. I swore twice. It's just a horror. They brought towels and threw them on the floor in the bathtub. Everything in the photo. In doing so, we were in the room. Well done, there's nothing more to say. I also post a photo of the corridor. The time of day is day.

It is quite a normal hotel, corresponds to 3 stars. Lifts sometimes have to wait a long time, there is a ladder — that's you and sport. The food is normal, the choice is there. The coffee in the machine is really disgusting. The road to the sea again — as a physical activity and a way to squander food. No claims by number. Only the animation is audible, if you want silence — choose a uniquely different hotel.

Good hotel for its class. I advise you to take with food in the hotel, because a wonderful selection of dishes of European cuisine.

Ok food, not smoke free as all tables have ashtrays and people smoking. Rooms are very basic as other hotels supplied microwave and kettles. Placed in random street view room when paid for pool view. My daughter wasn't even supposed to be here according to their records when shes was paid for. Most staff very friendly.

Off home tomorrow and not sad to be leaving. Yes the hotel is lovely, staff are very much as asset to the place, and the kids entertainment is great. The food is so repetitive we ate out some nights. Our room wasn't cleaned very well and one of our pillow covers when we arrived had dirty footprints on it!. Be careful in the shower, the water doesn't drain and the bathroom gets very wet. Our friend slipped and was told to go to hospital as it was suspected that her arm was broken. We booked our excursion through the local bus company, Plana, which was almost half the price. Takes you to the same place and usually more time. English speaking guide too. There is a bus booking shop across and down the road a bit from the hotel. Take a right out of the hotel and there is a lovely beach 5 minutes walk at the top of the road.

Had a great stay here. Food could be better but was acceptable, all staff I dealt with were great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. Usually the staff has been friendly but, being a large group, we have had problems with the staff responsible for eating together, getting to get some feedback out of tune. Dining schedules adjusted to guests from other countries close at 21.30 and the 22h invite you to leave the premises.

Lovely hotel, very clean, all staff really friendly. Hotel room cleaned everyday. The Spanish reps have entertained my kids from day one and made them feel part of their team which my kids loved. Food really nice with a wide selection of English and Spanish. Would come back here again.

Location too noisy, with colony of English alcoholic.

Bad organization, little staff and queues for everything!

We were impressed with the food, it was certainly better than we had expected and there was always something to eat. Room was perfectly acceptable and was cleaned every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kids club was a bit disappointing. Not sure that we would return to Salou.

Great place stayed there 3 years in a row separate big pool for kids and so so safe parents can relax and know kids are safe.

The site is well, that to speak in any language other than Spanish is irritating enough.

Lovely hotel, cosiness, comfort, food, wonderful beach, within walking distance of the sights of the city etc.

Hello, I did not like it, it looks ke have to the workers of the firm, we have exploited the that you receive when you enter you will see bitter, a jailer seems, at the reception well those of the plate majos, food, chicken and chicken rooms without doors in cabinets, good for going out a few days home, I'm not kejarme, enter to eat, and many times, put I my table of four, an employee, for forty tables. The people who make the beds exploited?. Debit recommend it.

Pools where lovely. Entertainment for children was very good and overall decent rooms. However food was the same every night. The staff where oblivious and argumentative. The bar staff where incredibly rude and ill-mannered.

The hotel is very nice.

… With regard to the HOURS OF THE DINNER: From 18.30 to 21.30 hs, can't find it logical. … For YOU had to ask for the drink of the restaurant, in the bar of the same, and for that wait for the queue or ordering 2 beers at once for one and not have so go back to wait for the queue to have lunch or dinner with drink, leading the warm up the same. … The FOOD in general always the same and without any variety, nothing outstanding, macaroni, rice, fried potatoes, sausages, some fish, some meat, prepared in the plate … very little quality in the food. … The REMOTE of the TV is to leave a€ 20 deposit for it, which returns it to the delivery. … At the BAR, their opening times are alternate at the restaurant, that is to say, open when you close the restaurant, but it is REGRETTABLE that when you are 00.00 hrs, then take TO THE CUSTOMERS that occupy the tables and chairs of the same, by turning off the lights, and if you don't give up, it is about a SECURITY guy from THE HOTEL letting you know that we must leave the place, that we could not be there by the close of the same hotel, a question that will not already understand that if you ask for any drink at 23.

Nice place to stay clean rooms, nice but the same food… bad points ONLY ONE SET OF LIFTS THAT GET BUSY… better hope u not in a high floor… Reception excellent… very helpful…

I loved the hotel. It is the second year that I went with my family and will return. Good food, lovely people from the first to the last, and above all the waiters and especially the bar, they were very kind and simpaticos, always with a smile to dedicate yourself and a few nice words to the children. The reception majisimos and very cute girl in the store. And all of them with an infinite patience with all clients. The only thing that would have to be solved is the issue of elevators that don't go very well but that is not any problem to come back. And I do not forget the animation that are great.

Large pool area, excellent food, friendly staff. The bathroom was a let down because the shower screen is not big enough to stop water getting everywhere. The evening entertainment is ok but it's better through the day round the pool especially for the kids. Really close to 2 quiet beaches and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying here at the moment. Room. The room is basic but clean and the beds are OK the bathroom is good Food. The food is good there is enough choice to suit most people. Staff. I cannot complain the staff are friendly and helpful, the entertainment staff are excellent especially with the children. The bar staff are quick and polite Entertainment. Generally good the different acts try to cover a wide range Rep our rep is brilliant he sorts problems out immediately no matter how trivial. He is always available to help and guide if required. Overall would I come here again? Yes I would.

Ants in the rooms. Service picnic and dinner and a cold little seen in other hotels, a tray on the terraces, overal positive. You can improve, but we've been good.

Very good location. The food quite well. Close to port aventura. The only thing rooms a bit small for 4 people. What other great.

The room was great. That is the only good thing about this place. The reception and life guard staff are so incredibly rude my daughter asked if they were going to yelled at us again. Will never be going back again the food wasn't great either with there being a very similar set of food each night and reusing food from earlier in the week. I would not recommend!

Good three stars. The location is excellent. But but, especially the numbers are in the pool.

Animation very poor, always the same games. The hotel convenient and comfortable. The cleaning could be better from the first day, rooms full of dust. Little control on the part of the address of the hotel. Waiter's bar, dining and reception of the hotel. People animation nice and friendly but with very poor repertoire in their work. The all-inclusive with bad preparation in beverages with respect to the payment. Inside the cafeteria if you are all inclusive you are treated very different, they serve in cases made of plastic and cocktails very ill-prepared for being all-inclusive. Groups of students unable to control on the part of the hotel. Personal bar gives snacks and cocktails to people who are not all-inclusive. Worth paying for all inclusive when the personal bar gives snacks and other people who don't have all-inclusive.

They booked the family room at Playa de Oro in February for July, when we arrived in Villa Dorada, explaining that the hotel network is alone and they have the right to settle across the street without our agreement. There's only Dorada no family and we've been offered standard for the same money. We disagreed and asked to return us to de Oro, as we were told that there was no family and no room at all. We had a trip three times in a double room with two bedrooms. In addition, they did not find our payment and offered to pay again. After the half-hour scandal, we found a payment, but it never started to solve the number. Our reserved number was sold for other money and we were put in dabbl with two double beds. The four of us have no place to turn, and the closet is designed for two.

Staying here for a weeks holiday. Rooms are really good, clean tidy. Restaurant offers a massive selection of food and drinks. Staff are very friendly. Snack bar was really good offering a nice selection of food thought-out the day. Check-in was frustrating and took longer than it should have.

Great clean hotel, staff helpful and friendly.

Excellent Service. Staff were helpful inspite of my lack of Spanish language. I should have done my homework when Thomas Cook arranged this place in regards to food. Be aware that Vegetarians have limited choices but zero for vegans. Rice, salad and baked beans or olive oil for 7 days. But then again British Airways had 2 choices on the flight. Egg or chicken sandwich. Refundable €20 to get TV remote control to operate 3-english channel TV. Also €28 to use the digital safety deposit box in the room. (€5 refundable).

I liked the morning you just get and go down stairs and eat food but the problem was we had little ones in prams and the lifts was stacked of people that didn't need the lift, so instead we had to carry the prams down the stairs which was annoying, the food was disgusting, Entertainers where good at night and we had a fun time thanks Villa Dorada.

Had a week there worst holiday I have ever had.
