Staff are wonderful! Hotel has great amenities including a spacious parking lot, pool and outdoor lounge area, great restaurant for breakfast & dinner… grocery store and laundry facilities very close which is great for road cyclist on holiday. I picked up a clothes drying rack at the grocery store for ~$12 and some inexpensive hangers to dry my delicate cycling clothes. I will certainly return! Thank you for a great week!

This hotel is very tastefully decorated with modern skinny furniture, it’s either new or recently refurbished because it’s very clean and pristine. Lovely spacious clean rooms, excellent facilities, nice staff and an excellent breakfast — lots of variety and good quality food. The only thing that lets it down is the restaurant lunch menu — delicious food but there’s not much of it and it’s overly priced, for example €10.50 for a children’s pasta dish. It’s not a great problem for evening meals as a walk into the centre of Girona is a 15 minutes walk away and a taxi costs €7. For lunch there’s always the supermarket over the road or the sushi and fast food place. Overall, an excellent hotel.

Second visit to Hotel Costabella and delighted to be back. Great room, facilities, and staff. Only 15 minutes walk (fast walk) into the beautiful city of Girona. Love it!

Excellent stay in a family hotel with all the comforts and located in a very suitable place to visit Girona and its surroundings. Friendly service, clean and nice rooms, very good food offer. To repeat without a doubt.

Very friendly and with lots of customer service. We arrived very late due to travel issues with our cats and were given help to set us up on the camera. Very clean. Breakfast to a raucous buffet.

Lovely hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. Had an issue with the air-conditioning but this was sorted by the receptionist, who moved us to a different room which was actually an upgrade.

A lovely hotel with a pool outside with strange tasting water. The rooms were clean and we had fresh towels every day. The breakfast was to overpriced and for some silly reason they decided to fit safes in rooms that don't work unless you buy a lock for which you have to pay EUR 4 per day plus a deposit. Nuts. But would still recommend if you don't mind the additional costs you have to pay on top of your room.

Best hotel in Girona of the theme of price and quality. Very friendly staff. Good variety in breakfast. Restaurant food quality for the price is very reasonable.

Just come over for a cup of coffee. Coffee with vegetable milk expensive and the girl who served only had 2 people eating in the restaurant. And it took 3 hours… I don't want to imagine if it was full.

Great hôtel for a short stay. The room was nice, quiet and spacious. The breakfast is very good and of good quality. There is also a swimming pool and a pleasant terrace. The hotel is under renovation but the result is very appreciable. Especially the bathroom! I highly recommend!

A friendly hotel with a friendly staff, an interesting restaurant. The cleanliness of the rooms (linen, linens) could be improved.

The truth is very good q everything. Very large bed and comfortable. Good location.

Room was not very good. At the 22h we said we had cold and offered to go down a heater to reception, the hallway with cartons.
This wouldn't have to happen.
There would have to be more control over the hotels, besides collecting the tourist rate.

Very nice atmosphere and attentive attention. I was already a while ago but I have come back with my wife and are renovating the rooms and common areas with qualities well above a 3 * hotel. Gym area, spa, massages, etc. With a very relaxing Zen atmosphere. The bed is oversized and very comfortable with indirect lighting and very nice wooden lining. Bathroom with rain-type shower renovated with pleasure in both coating and sanitary quality. In the hallways and staircase, the use of grey carpet is thanks for the ambient warmth and noise absorption. It shows the affection and professionalism of the family owner in this establishment.

The stay in general very well. All very clean and very friendly, the only downside is that it made a bit of heat in the room and you would hear a bit of the road as it is very close!

We were on the way to southern Spain, decided to stay… Brilliant. Great staff, a great welcoming smile on reception, very nice room 102 large warm and cosy, big bathroom with a bath, my wife loves her bath lol. Bar service good, prices OK, we dined in the restaurant, food was first class… The three courses for 22 euros was fantastic value… All considered for a three star hotel… This wants to be upgraded…

Very familiar Hotel that are renovating little by little. The rooms are spacious and soundproof. We did not try the menu but it looked good. Great TV SmartTV, toiletries and electric kettle to prepare tea or coffee.

Not the best location for the tourist because it is around 25 minutes from the center but hotel was very good, clean and comfortable. Big TV and nice pool, everything is new and staff was really nice.

Right to spend a night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms for refurbishing and insufficient air conditioning and soundproofing.

They have good price and good quality. Renovated. Nice friendly and friendly atmosphere. Excellent staff. Close to the old town and the Parque de la Devesa. Highly recommended.

This hotel is superb. Everything works apart from the fact that the pillows are wrongly calibrated. One pillow is too low; two too high. Better to have one half height so one and a half being perfection.

Fantastic place. Wasn't very busy when we visited, almost had the pool to ourselves some times. Staff is fabulous. House keeping cleans the room all the time. Good experience over all.

The hotel states its dog friendly… although dogs are allowed, when it came to dinner in the restaurant we were told dogs were not allowed… fair enough, I get that! However, we were told we had to sit outside by the lift and passing people, there was a low coffee table and 2 armchairs, 'you have to sit there', as uncomfortable as it would be, being on show with people constantly walking past, I accepted it, I asked if we could have a proper table and chairs put there as it was impossible to eat a lovely meal (menu looked fab) from the low coffee table. The very rude barman told me that this was not permitted as we had a dog, I told him about my mobility problem and that it would not be possible to eat like that and his response verged on discrimination, 'not my problem, you have to sit there, you have a dog'. Needless to say this was very upsetting so it was back in the car and a 15 minute drive to find somewhere to eat in the old town, where we found a 5 star restaurant, we were welcomed inside with the dog no problem at all. I will not be returning!

+ positive: Very modern and clean, decent sized rooms. Huge flat screen TV with Netflix. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was really really great, warm and cold things, fruit, yoghurt, juices, delicious coffee… It was great that you can travel with dogs (although they are not allowed in the breakfast/dining area, so you'll have a problem when travelling alone with a dog. ) We'll definitely be back! — negative: A hole in the ceiling in the hallway outside our room, through which we could see the plumbing, didn't make a very good first impression. Everything else was spotless and modern though. Trays for taking the breakfast outside would be a nice addition.

Great service and cost effective place to stay close to the hospital, 10 mins from the city centre and 45 mins from Lloret De Mar.

Hotel is for the price ok. I choose the place for two weeks because nothing else was available with fitness room and I was lazy to change for something else. It was closed to workplace and Town with easy parking and Wi-Fi. Never had dinner but breakfast was evereage. A machine for fresh pressed orange juice was the highlight every morning.

A good hotel, comfortable and located in a strategic place to reach the center of the city of Girona in just a few minutes on foot. Good welcome and excellent reception staff always friendly and helpful at all times.

Ideal hotel for visiting the city of Girona. Slightly outside the city, in front of the large hospital of Girona. For people who like to walk the town is 10 mins walk. If not, drive the large free car park 5 minutes from the Cathedral. Very comfortable hotel with restaurant and free parking. I recommend it.

Quality price good, but beware if you get a room 116 which is a dungeon! Walk 10 min to the historical centre and swimming pool.

Great. Quality excellent price. The breakfast is a free buffet very complete. The hotel is 15 minutes from the old town. It's pretty quiet area. The double beds are huge, and everything was very clean. If there is a downside is that the rooms are a little soundproof, but would definitely repeat.

Nice, well run hotel. Enormous 6ft bed in our room, which was also a little noisy due to being on the side with a busy road and next to the lift shaft. Good free Wi-Fi. Easy 15 min walk to the old town, nearer for supermarkets and cinema. Good base for cyclists (edge of town and lockable garage). Recommended.

We loved the pool and the friendly staff. The bed very comfortable, free Wi-Fi and fast.

I taught a training in the hotel and I thought it was very cozy and comfortable. It is the typical family hotel that makes you feel at home. The staff is very friendly. Wi-Fi everywhere, which is a plus.

A hotel to sleep well and comfortable. For all make you pay, but the breakfast buffet and friendly to customers is very well. Recommended.

What stands out most is the service of the hotel, I was in the Barraques de Girona and the hotel is well located, but best was attention, highly recommended.

What I liked about the hotel was the familiar treatment that I have received and the proximity of the historic centre of Girona. At the reception they have been very attentive.
