Very friendly staff. The location is perfect, in the center of the city. The room in very good condition and clean. There are common areas with kitchenette and cooking utensils if necessary. The price was very cheap for what is usually in Barcelona. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable Rooms at a good price, the bathroom is small but clean; There is living-kitchen very spacious and in the morning offer a small breakfast (you have to get up early because it is finished).

We stayed 3 nights at Hostal Colkida.
It was simply impressive over the measurements!
For being a hostel, it has an insanely good service and comfort.
We had a room on the 4th floor (with elevator easy to reach), there was a huge top equipped kitchen — ideal for breakfast, plenty of room to cook and eat with a beautiful view over Barcelona.
There is also a sun terrace, free coffee and snacks (so you can save yourself the breakfast), there is a room service every day (! ) — since I have had worse services in declared hotels.
Speaking of service: The staff are also incredibly nice, always helpful and read every wish from your eyes.
The icing on the cake is probably the perfect location, you can reach everything in walking distance, the Rambla 10 min away.
All in all, it exceeded lengths to our expectations, we would always choose Hostal Colkida.

Great location, cleaning every day, for 3 people with a cat there is a large exclusive room on the 0 floor with a patio and kitchen, this room is very large and very interesting — 2 floors with 2 me san knots, take with a cat for an additional. The fee, good location, nearby shops, cafes restaurants, Gaudi's creations, subway and train from the airport. There was a lack of corkscrew and mugs in the kitchen, and an electric kettle, but it's the little things.

A very central hostel, refurbished, very clean and the detail of giving away with breakfast is really a detallazo!

It is a hostel that is very very very good in relation quality price, an excellent location, a very good attention of the reception boy the cleanliness more than correct, we changed the towels even habiendolas left hung, the detail of the free breakfast, for a Hostel and of this price, I had never found it. The room, triple in my case, was very spacious and came in very well the sign of the Wi-Fi.
So no doubt when I return to BCN I will go to Hostal Colkida.

Nice place. Lifts are older and scares a bit but works. The room was big, clean, and have a nice terrace. They told us that don't have breakfast but they have food at the morning that is more than a good breakfast! The one problem here was the courtain of the shower that is not enough for keep the water inside of the shower. So after that I take a shower I have water in all the bathroom.

Pretty good experience, pets allowed (paying a clear supplement) and the rooms are pretty decent. You miss a desk, but the terrace is worth it.

Top accommodation for a city trip.

I made a non-refundable reservation for 4 nights at the hotel while I was still in the process of getting my visa. The package then was at tempting price so I made the booking and the hotel took all the money for the 4 nights in advance. Last week I received a rejection on my visa because the embassy is being very difficult in granting visas after the current situation in Barcelona (and I have the letter from the embassy) I contacted the hotel to try to reach a settlement because now I lost 200 euros, they would not even negotiate! now that they have all the money they showed complete carelessness about my situation and were not understanding at all! They kept repeating" you choose a non-refundable policy, so it's not our problem". I even called them a tried to explain that it is totally out of my hands, can you at least offer the room to be sold in case someone else needed it and then I can take my money, a guy replied that he will see and contact me and never heard from the since. The worst uncooperative customer service, and all they cared about is that they have their money.

Spectacular, very clean! Large bedroom with windows and nice private bathroom with very complete common use kitchen, very friendly receptionist. 8 to 10 min walking from the Rambla.

Close to so many things like good places to eat. Around every corner is another feast of architecture for eyes and awe. They do it well. The staff were easy and friendly. The room needed better air con in for the hot days and warm nights. Transport very close andx easy to get a taxi to airport.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. First of all the price quite affordable compared to other hotels in Barcelona. It is conveniently located and the room was very clean and spacious enough. Very comfortable beds, well equipped bathroom. Small downside for the lighting too low in the bathroom and also the noise of other guests who passed by our door. For my next city trip in Barcelona I will not hesitate to return to the Hotel Colkida. The reception was also very friendly, nothing to say. Top!

Amazing staff amazing management and clean place — — the neighborhood and the area is very close to nearby attraction. Only downside was having no refrigerator but thats a minor issue — — will be back again!

Stayed 6 nights and would come and visit again. PLUS: Nice and helpfull staff. Room was cleaned every day. Fresh bathroom. Very central location. Max 10 min walk from Pl. Catalunya. Nice "balcony" and teracce. Worth the Money. Near to places that offers breakfast. MINUS: Very small, spartan room. Easy to hear neighbours, wash machine and so night time. Very good hostel in Barcelona, excellent location, very clean and the staff very attentive.

The reception is not bad with a staff to listening. However the internet connection is zero. The room where we were was on the road. Door window poorly insulated, not easy to sleep or have a moment of quiet rest with the noise of car that pass with no stops.

What I would highlight is the location, it is in a central area and very close to paseo de gracia (5 min. ). The room was large, well lit and also had a balcony where you could leave to take the air or to observe the street. The bathroom also featured a bathtub. Everything was perfectly clean. The bed huge and comfortable, also the sheets be very reconfortables. I used a blanket I had in the closet that was most enjoyable. The only bad thing I can comment is that the wardrobe had no doors. Everything else is wonderful. Treatment staff 10!

Top! Honestly there is not a single point to complain. The hostal is perfect and after a 3-day-visit it is set for all future Barcelona-Trips and I only can recommend it. * You feel like in a 4-star hotel, but you pay a lot cheaper! * Good location, not straight in the busy and noisy (most people forget about this) historic center, but next to the Güell-Houses and really PERFECT public transport connection (if needed, we did almost all trips by foot from there) * Megafriendly personal with a loooooooooooot of tipps. * Some rooms with a look to the beauftiful small alley. If you take these room there are super bright * Nice roof terrasse.

Great value for money. It's good enough for those of us who are staying with a child. Perfect location.
