I really enjoyed staying in the hostel, very friendly staff and clean place to say. So many close attraction places to go and nearby train and bus station.

One of the best hostels in Barcelona good value for money also the staff is very kind and very knowledgeable. The property is located in the centre of Barcelona, two steps from the L3/2 line.

Such a great hostel. Very attentive staff, clean rooms and an excellent location. Activities are hosted several times a week and the friendly staff were always available to advise on the best way to enjoy Barcelona ☀️

We stayed here overall for 4 days and very satisfied. The whole hostel is very clean and well maintained and the staff is nice and helpful. The location is central and there are many tapas bars nearby. The rooms are a bit noisy there to the street but if that doesn't bother absolute recommendation!

Really comfortable hostel centrally located. The place is very clean with numerous room options. I can't say enough about the staff. They were very Outgoing and helpful. I was here during the holidays and they facilitated two dinner events for the hostel. They had some staff members that accompaniec us to the N Y E event. Kinga, in reception, is the best. There is a kitchen and everything you need to cook. But they have an awesome map and make great recommendations as well. No do it yourself laundry. BUT they will wash and dry for you. Mine got mysteriously folded. What?! They have a free walking tour which will meet right at the hostel. Great place for sure. Thanks for making my Barcelona visit great.

It was so good, close to the landmarks and transportation, the staff are amazing, metro train is 4 minuets away, it’s quiet and cosy but I didn’t feel that the towels are really clean, it felt a little oily somehow, and you have to pay 1.5 Euro to get one.

Great location, super nice staff. Very familiar if you can get into it. Negatively, of course owed to the price … the beds … every move creaks. In general, they are beds not the real one. Unfortunately, the noise of passing cars is also not for noise-sensitive people. There is one toilet in the middle of the hostel and 2 showers. My room was occupied by 6 people. Wi-Fi is free and if you are on the road all day anyway, you can accept the shortcuts.

Good hostel, the people at the front desk are excellent and they are always available to help with information. The only thing I leave to Desejar is that they could offer breakfast.

My husband and some friends came to spend part of our European bound here at this hostel. I do not have nothing but great things to say! The security is great! The staff and place is so welcoming. The staff makes you feel like you are at home, like they've known you. It is a very comfortable home away from home hostel. The hostel hosts events at night wether is TAPAS night or go see a flamenco show, tours, etc. They did not hesitate to help us with any tourist information and maps. Laundry service is fast and very affordable! The owners are super sweet and helpful. The staff we got to see more was Kinga, Emmanuel and George! They were absolutely great! It was nice to hangout with the staff at a local bar (another event they host) we met others from the hostel and had a great time. It is very clean! Definitely a place I highly recommend!

Excellent service with well appointed rooms. Staff were delightful especially the wee lass called Kinga (hope it's spelt right). Well run and centrally located. Definitely stay there again.

Great hostel for a good price highly recommended! Great staff! Great location!. But if you book a private room they do not allow to bring any visitors which is a shame because you are paying a high price and you have your own private room makes no sense. They need to change that rule even if they charge something its fine.

Great hostel located right at the centre of the city. They also have 2-bed rooms or a single double bed with arched bathroom if you book in advance. Nice friendly staff. Tidy as well. Value for money since all central locations are in walking distance!

Loved this hostel. It was very clean, with relatively big rooms and shared bathrooms. There was no breakfast included, but a kitchen was available to cook meals. Coffee and tea was free. Washing service was available, a bit expensive but very good. The Wi-Fi worked really well. Nice common room and terrace. Staff was very friendly and could give directions and tips about good restaurants and how to get around to avoid big crowds and waiting in lines at tourist attractions. Location was perfect, walking distance to most attractions. It was a very pleasant stay.

Very friendly staff, modern and clean hostel. Our room (double ensuite) was huge with a nice bathroom. Can easily compete with a star rated hotel. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again.

The Barcelona Central Garden Hostel is one of the best I have ever been to. The staff is so nice and helpful. And so are the owners. And as it is not one of those big hostels where every guest is just one in a vast number of guests, you immediately feel welcome. It is always a pleasure to spend a few days there.

Excellent location, super clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Are very concerned about the well-being of the guests. They have a cute terrace and care for the environment. I would strongly recommend it.

Very friendly, social and thoughtful workers at this hostel. They make sure to give you a good sense of the city geography before you take off and they even hand you ear plugs just in case of snorers. They also do laundry here at very affordable prices and the whole hostel even went to a flamenco dance event together. There are really kind, considerate and fun people here and I highly recommend staying here over the other hostels if you're in Barcelona!

One of the highlights of my trip! Lovely friendly owners who are so welcoming and warm! I love the atmosphere of the place, it was quite clean and the staff were very very helpful in telling us ways on getting around also taking us out to dinner. Recommend it to anyone going to Barcelona!

Fantastic hostel in a great location. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

Everything is clean, bedsheets are included, staff is very friendly and helpful, small lockers are available in dormrooms and cameras are reassuring when leaving the bigger bags in the dormrooms. The location is great (the only downside being the street noises in some rooms). There is a terrace for smokers, A kitchen if you want to prepare your own food, and a free reliable Wi-Fi connection (and desktop PCs). I would put this hostel as the best budget option for solo travellers in Barcelona. Concerning the 2* comment, I can confirm there is no way to see someone leaving any bathroom from the guest reception/lounge part. Plus regardless of the configuration and regarding privacy, one would consider to dress before leaving the bathroom rather than after, in the shared dormroom.

The rooms were standard, clean, but too close together. Bathrooms are too close to reception. Anyone in the lounge area can see you coming out of the shower whenever the lounge door is open, which is always and very uncomfortable. Owners/staff are too nosey. Asking me how much I spent on certain things, where I went, and why I came back too soon. I basically felt like I had little privacy, even though, I was rarely at the hostel. Receptionist laughed at my very unfortunate situation regarding a fraud I experienced. Generally, I would not recommend this place unless you like people in your business. PS: I did stay at this hostel. I am using another email (which is my choice and irrelevant). All of my comments are true.

like a family member and make a lot of friends including very friendly staffs. 2) Friendly staff
Every time I stay there, I see both original staffs and new ones, and they are always friendly and helpful. Even if you are shy, they talk to you nicely and try to connect to other guests which makes this place more comfortable. 3) Strong Wifi and enough showers&toilets
I think Wi-Fi is the biggest issue for every travelers these days, but I have never had connection problems. Also, there are many showers and toilets, so
you don't need to wait and waste your time. 4) Great location
Hostel locates in Passage de Gracia, which is very near from Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and just 10mins to the downtown, La Rambla. There are also many cafes nearby, you have many options for breakfast. 3 times staying at Barcelona are always winter time, but it is one of the warmest city in Europe and night illuminations are so beautiful! You may think
travelers should visit Barcelona in spring or summer, but visiting winter is also
great!

I stayed at Barcelona Hostel during the last week of August. I had a great stay: the staff were friendly, the hostel was easy to get to, elevator for my heavy luggage, and close to everything in Barcelona. If you are looking for a hostel with a great location, comfortable beds, and nice amenities; I would definitely recommend Barcelona Central Garden Hostel.

Very tidy and clean. Staffs were very informative and the place is not far from most of the attractions. I have been to many hostels and this has got to be in the top 5.

Best Hostel Experience! From check in to departure. The staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable about the city and even organise nights out. I was able to attend a mesmerizing flamenco show at a discounted rate. Thanks to them, I also had the best hot chocolate of life and was able to go off the beaten track to restaurants that were mostly frequented by locals!

Simply the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Incredibly friendly staff and owners, really makes your trip come alive. They also organize some events so you get to see a bit more of Barcelona than you might have before. Logistically the hostel is well located amongst lots of mini-markets, a short walk from Plaza de Catalunya and La Rambla, and about 2 blocks from the nearest metro station. Great facilities and price, can't ask for more!
