It’s been a year since we were supposed to be staying here. Due to coronavirus, the staff informed us to cancel the reservation and they would refund our money. After that they stopped communicating and responding to emails. I’m still waiting for a refund ;)
➜ We stayed at House By Pillow in Barcelona and the experience was very pleasant.
Not only is it the same as photographs, but it's also beautiful inside. It is a house conditioned as a hotel and renovated for it. The bed was soft and the pillows fluffy, the bathroom spacious for the small of the room. Also one thing I loved was that when we came in it smelled great.
The only "bad" thing is that they were under construction during our stay and the days we need to sleep a little more became somewhat uncomfortable. And to say the most, a coffee shop of its own would be 10/10.
The reception girls were very friendly and helpful.
If I have to go back to Barcelona, I'm sure I'll be back.

I like to think that I am one for promoting and supporting businesses wherever possible, so I don't do this lightly — but we have had a terrible experience and are now £250 out of pocket, I've gone direct to the source on numerous occasions and have been met with rude and sarcastic responses, so I feel the need to share this to make sure any of my friends and customers stay WELL away from this hotel. It's actually their sister hotel '𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄' that we have the complaint with, but funnily enough they are not on Facebook! I think the pictures will say it all but HOW in hell's name are they allowing people to stay here? The rooms may be 'fine' BUT:
1. The area is totally unsafe
2. Druggies and homeless people on the streets outside
3. Stairs needed to get to the lift — not mentioned anywhere on booking. Com, totally unsuitable for less mobile people
4. Entrance absolutely FILTHY! Wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there
5. Customer service non existent, was charged the full price to cancel — come on, would ANYONE feel safe staying here?
6, the entrance is between two noisy bars/clubs, one of which looks like a brothel. I have always worked in travel as you all know, and this is the WORST experience I have EVER had in terms of service and product. Also shame on Booking. Com for still selling this property… 😞
