The location was perfect for us as the hotel was a few minutes away from the main train and bus station, as well as the metro which allowed us to travel easily around Barcelona. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. A good variety at breakfast. The pool area is very well run so that the beds are given in first come first serve order and towels provided. It was great to have a fridge in our room but would have also liked a kettle although the bars are open and you are able to get take away tea and coffee or room service at reasonable rate. Great king size bed and clean rooms. The only downside was the room was too hot at night.

Excellent hotel next to Barcelona Sant railway station. Direct links to the airport, neat main features and a short cab ride or fair walk to Las Ramblas and the harbour!

Worst place I have ever stayed for acoustic, I can hear my neighbours talk as if they were just in my room (it's 11:30 and I'd like to sleep). I guess 'urban' now means noisy. I can't believe such a hotel is not better soundproofed. It negates all the good vibes from the lovely rooftop view and friendly staff. After all, a hotel is primarily for sleeping… Never again!

From Friday to Saturday the most expensive prices. Incredible audibility. Good breakfast.

A nice hotel with a pool on the roof.

I recommend this hotel very nice but theres a tiny problem the noise coz of the furniture keeps moving with the cleaner upstairs and next room in the early morning when youre still sleeping. And milk was only 2 small cubes when they were giving u plenty of teas and coffee not enough for me had to asked them all the time to put more and the cleanliness is near to be perfect only if they mopping the floor everyday too. But other than that they're excellent ive been here 3 times and will definitely book here my next holiday coz its convenient else where. 4 starts from me. Gracias team expo. Keep up the good work.

Not a bad hotel with a rooftop pool next to the train station.

Such a lovely hotel, close to a metro station so me and my partner could explore very easily. Our room was cleaned and checked everyday we stayed there, and our bed was always made and we were given new bottles of shampoo and soap for the bathroom. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar, which served different cocktails, wines and beers and snacks and meals. Floor 3 is where the hotel resturant was and you could enjoy a nice meal in the afternoons and evenings and a help yourself breakfast from 7am to 11am, which we had on our last day. The swimming pool was also very lovely, with the provision of towels and shower. Staff are very friendly and happy to help, would stay here again.

Hotel services according to the stated standards and quite clean. Breakfast is ok, but for an evening meal it is better to find another place. In the evening — a comprehensive service and a choice of a couple of dishes, no more. Take one dish from the complex, for example, also will not work. Serve for a long time… The rooms facing the railway and bus station are neither the view from the window, nor the clean liness of the air, nor the silence. Windows do not open ( (Better ask the room by windows on the residential part of Barcelona, there is much more pleasant! Metro, transport, the area of Spain in walking distance — it is convenient. Tasty. A normal option is to stay on a business trip.

Great location, clean, responsive and friendly staff.

Great location near two metro stations. Pool is nice rooms are large and clean. Restuarant is pretty yummy and they have a daily menu! Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the beds were so hard. Luckily the pillows and blankets were great making the hard bed more bearable. Checked in around midnight without issue, front desk always friendly and helpful. I was able to store my bags all day after checkout. Wifi works great.

The place offers great value for money. Specially with breakfast buffet for which unfortunately there is no photo I took. The vanity items in bathroom were good, soaps tooth brush, shaving kit etc. And the public bathroom had rituals soaps. Nice. Also had a small fridge for keeping things cool. Only if room was little wide and bed were little plush feel. They were absolutely fine to sleep I should add.

Perfect location for our visit to sants. Right next to the station. Plus points the rooftop pool and bar with 360' view of the city. Staff very helpful and lots of places to eat nearby.

I must say the hotel was nicer than I expected. The rooms are nice but be careful with children I wouldn’t reccomend a balcony room the railing is quite short. Lovely roof top bar area and pool but what stands out to me is the service. Its been impeccable the staff are amazing. Definitely reccomend staying here. It’s close to two metro bus stops and lots of restaurant /cafe options.

The hotel had pleasant helpful staff at check in. It's location to the train station is perfect. Easy to find and convenient for a stop over visit but not for an extended stay in Barcelona. The room pictures bare no resemblance to the rooms our group got and lacked basic amenities like a jug to boil water or coffee and tea sachets as found in most hotels I've stayed in. The tv's faced a wall less than 2m away with no chairs for seating. Seating on the floor while watching TV? So very cramped indeed. Bathroom tiles were dirty and the bathroom was designed for a disabled person with the toilet so close to the wall and hand support rail you had to sit on it sideways. Rendering it almost useless if you were in fact disabled.
A nice try but entirely impracticable. If looking for a overnight stay close to the train station it will suffice but only just.

We came to spend a few days in Barcelona with my wife and daughter so we took a triple and surprise room no double bed but 3 single beds and no possibility to change not even to stick 2 beds together. The room is tiny the equipment includes just a TV no kettle not even a brush for the toilet there are 2 total outlets in the room all the old air the balcony tile is broken and takes off at several places of rust on the guard c orps, and the separations of the balconies no way said touching without this dirty short it is far from the idea that I am getting a 4 star. I put 2 stars anyway because the rooms are well cleaned and the hotel is pretty well located. Fortunately we are in Barcelona and it is nice otherwise it would be a spoiled holiday because here it is no more than to sleep and if I had known this before I would have booked at the hostel its would have made me save.

Fantastic staff, extremely accommodating, great location, great room.

Good value for money.

The location of the hotel is a great start before you walk in as about 250m either way is a choice of metro stations on the L3 (green) metro line and within easy walking distance of some key tourist attractions such as the magic fountains. When you open your door you will find very spacious rooms and a large en suite. The bar located on floor 3 has good food and can do 3 course set menu deals (approx. 18€ as of May 2018). The hotel is very clean and we'll maintained with comfortable beds.

Bad rooms, very small bathroom, not even worth 2 stars.

The hotel is a little out of the way but with the subway very easy to reach.
The staff at the front desk are friendly.
We were here with a group. Had 8 rooms. Not a single room had a double bed. All with 2 single beds. Cannot be changed either. You have to make a lot of predictions and also indicate at the booking. In the bar in the room it has only 2 bottles of water. You have to go to the 3rd floor if you want more. Room service is available. And when you're done, you just put it in the hotel. Then it's disgusting until the morning.
So I'm not excited about the hotel.
But if you want to sleep cheaply in Barcelona then it is enough.
It stinks in the rooms from the drain.
Some of us had to change rooms.
Several large taxis (for 6 pers) were not ordered for us. It is not possible!

Terrible experience. The picture of the bedrooms shown on the web doesn’t look at all like the actual ones (at least not the room that I had). At the entrance looks modern and nice, receptionist are nice, but once at the room was tiny, really old, needs refurbishing. The cleaning was terrible there was hair inside my sheets, bathroom floor dirty. Excellent location but I will never come back here.

The services offered are up to the task. Possibility to print a travel document on the computer. Good breakfast buffet.

Friendly and attentive staff. Common areas great. Breakfast good and varied. The worst, the rooms are very old including the bathroom, does not have, do not have mixer taps are two taps in the showers and it costs a lot to regulate them, the aluminium windows let in cold and noise. In general the room would give him a suspense, really big! The rest of the hotel perfect.

Hotel located very close to Barcelona Sants. The best: Kindness and friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The worst thing: Although the hotel has been given a facelift-type "Urban" in some aspects would need further reforms (for example the bathrooms, floors…). The plug closest to the bed was located more than 2 meters, so that it is not possible to be in the bed with the mobile or the laptop connected to the electricity (unless you bring an extension cord in the suitcase). Nor was it comfortable to watch TV from the bed located at an angle a little odd. But still, recommended.

Very good location. Rooms are quiet and functional. Unfortunately, the pool deck is closed, so you can't even enjoy the view.

First experience of walking in — smelled really nice. Staff were nice and helpful. Things ran smoothly. Breakfast buffet was great but the room was reasonable for a 2 night stay.

Hotel perfectly located next to the Sants station. Staff nice and smiling. Large rooms with balcony. Restaurant room and the most: a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and bars to enjoy the view of Barcelona (open from May to September).

It is located on the side of the train station, very useful if you ave already that you don't have to take any transport. They make crib if you are going with babies. Good access and good service although far from las ramblas. The output side of the Barcelona marathon. The breakfast of black-eyed peas. Also we saved the suitcases if you train leaving later.

It is ok we can just stay there and feel relaxed. breakfast is good quality. dinner is also low price, good quality.

Very friendly at reception. Cleaning very well but it has details that denote that it is an old hotel, for example it costs a lot of regular water from the shower (it has frigos different for the hot and cold water), the faucet of the sink and the bathtub has rust stains and are worn out. As a final note, the pillows are too soft and the beds very small. The distribution of the room I liked a lot, is spacious. Very good location, a step away from Plaza España and close to Montjuic.

Four star Hotel in the vicinity of Sants station and close to Plaza España and very close to public transport, with taxi stop and handicapped access, I recommend, a cordial greeting from Spain.

The hotel is renovated. The rooms are very spacious and have a kettle and the Wi-Fi goes pretty well.
Breakfast is buffet with fruit, sausage and pastries.
Although they do not have gym, with the hotel card you can go to the hotel gym in front.

Very good place. I arrived a day earlier to my reservation and they placed me quickly. Beautiful location.

I was in the restaurant eating with hotel professionals and it was very pleasant the surprise in positive, considering we asked for menu. The restaurant is on the third floor of the hotel, quiet and cozy place, great service and informal, very good presentation of the dishes, and a price of the most normal €18 with the wine included. Can you ask for more? Recommended and I will eat again.

Stayed several times before at this hotel. Good value hotel with very convenient location. Comfortable rooms. We had a nice view of Montjiuc this time. Disappointed though to find that they had done away with their bar/cafe.

Simple Hotel that fulfills its function to perfection.
There are people who consider that they need a reform: in my case I traveled for work issues and found it all right.
Perhaps one point to be improved is the cleanliness of the breakfast area: I was the first to enter and there were still remains (glasses and bottles) from the night before.
Otherwise, everything is correct: good location (next to Sants station) and attention.

The building is old, like the rooms. Bed, wardrobe, TV and little else. I was in December and the floor was frozen (terrazzo), and despite being on the eighth floor, I listened to the cars. The reception, very nice and very good attention on the part of all the workers.

The stay in the hotel has been very good. Very professional attention. The situation if you are coming in AVE is great because it is next door. I will stay every time I go.

Not sure why this is 4 stars. Feels more like a 3. Reception slow, waited in a queue while several staff just wandered around and one guy was working. Booked a double bed in a "superior" something room but they gave me a room with two small beds instead. If this is their "superior" am glad I have never seen the "basic" option. Complained about the beds but was told that the hotel run out of double beds and to try again next day, useless service. Room itself is rather basic and worn out. Breakfast is as basic too, nothing fancy and not worth including. Most cafe on the street will feed you better. The location is good and close to metro with taxis easy to find. Lifts are quick and the whole place is not too crowded which is good. Overall, will avoid in the future unless there is nowhere else to stay.

Staff very friendly and available, nothing to complain about, it's nice!
But hotel that does not deserve 4 stars, even outside France. No thermal and phonic insulation: On the 8th floor we heard people talking in the street as if we had the window open (while not). All the noises of the room neighbors or hallway (even faint) were in our room.
The communes are redone and nice but the rooms are spartan, a little antiquated and it is noted a lack of rigour on the cleanliness and maintenance of the materials.

The staff were amazing. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff came in to clean when we were out of the room, even if it was later in the day, and did a great job. The pool is smallish but perfect for relaxing when the sun is out. The food at the rooftop bar was pricey but delicious. There's a place across the road that does takeaway pizza and a bakery nearby if you need a budget meal! Rooms have small fridges, which we used to store food for packed lunches. The hotel is close to three Metro stations and a short (15-20min) walk from the Magic Fountain. It's an easy train journey from the airport. The only feedback we would give to the hotel was that the balconies would benefit from a couple of chairs and six or eight more loungers near the pool would mean fewer people needing to wait. We had a great week in this hotel!

Good standard but pricy and on the first night they asked if we might need a double room for my girlfriend and me as we only could reserve a twin room. We said yes but was informed that the room would be ready tomorrow. So we agreed to take the double room on the next day. And when we got there it stank like dirty mop, we asked to be moved and somehow they found a double room.

Hotel clean, on the top floor there is a terrace you can dine, and drink excellent view of the Catalan National Museum, including Friday and Saturday from 21, 30 spectacle of magical fountains. Reception very friendly. Possibility to rent a bike, near the main train station Bacellona Sant Estacio and underground.

Good location and proximity to train and metro stops. Held a few meetings here and the staff can definitely stand to improve on speed and receptiveness to requests. The rooftop bar is really lovely however, with great service and tasty food!

Great hotel. Convenient to the main Sants train station, buses, metro. Clean rooms with safe, mini-fridge, TV, and toiletries. The shower was interesting, had two sets of knobs. One set for the shower and one set for the bath. Water pressure on the 7th floor was EXCELLENT!

Clean, modern & very comfortable. Emailed in advance to have two rooms together. Couldn't have been more helpful. Not enough pool loungers but decent turnover and pool attendant/ life guard was great at getting you one when available. Breakfast was included and very good selection. Pool bar food was delicious, especially goats cheese burgers! Didn't find it that expensive re bull ring prices, cheaper about maybe but great setting!

I was disappointed with the half board disservice which turned out to be a real mozzarella. Cold and inedible food. No one understands you and not to say that the rooms depicted do not match those of the photos published. Four star entrance But everything else is worth two. For the price you pay you find Senz ' other much better.

It was a very nice hotel. I don't give 5 stars simply because I think it needs a revamp. But I would definitely go back again.

The truth is, a decent hotel, it does not have an excess of comfort, but to sleep semi-well enough. The extra beds that if you are terrible at the back, the attention regarding places where to eat is a little lacking but given that I lived many many worse this is the approved.

This super old all over the room. A pity the truth because it's very well located. I have sent with the company and I hope that you do not send here to no companion more. The quilt of the bed is scary and is not for being ugly (that also) is due to its appearance… very disappointed : (and I have to spend two nights here.

Room not too spacious but clean, great location, close to metro and train station and main squares. Recommended.

Hotel was very decent. Our king room was immaculately clean and functional rather than being impressive. Balcony overlooked the car park but at £55 per night I guess this was reasonable. Breakfast buffet choice was good and both this room and the restaurant were laid out nicely. Yes I would stay here again but I wouldn't pay more than £60 a night to stay here.

I'm expecting a better service from a 4 stars hotel… Problems with room key every day, so annoying… Water from the sink smell like bad eggs…

If you can avoid it, do not stop at this hotel! I had never seen a 4 star hotel with rooms this old and neglected. I am surprised that in the assessment of Google's pass 3. Dirty walls, frames of the door descascarillados, a bathroom old and with bad smell, bed and pillows uncomfortable. You don't have anything good!

It has a location very convenient, next to the train station Sant. Suitable for travel, as this on a point equidistant and connected by all the means (bus. Metro, tourist bus). The hotel is barely a three star. Breakfast only acceptable. The bed, definitely the worst (possibly the TV but it is not so important).

Ground travel regularly all over Spain, and until now had not seen a 4 star hotel like this. The room where I stayed is more 2 star than 4. The TV in the year 1980, the antique furniture, the mattress more than used, and the doors of the cupboards dirty and hand-painted. The shower is of the Spanish civil war. I will not return anymore.

My wife and I had a great time here. The rooftop pool was lovely, location was excellent and the free Wi-Fi was very handy. Great value for money.

Regarding the restaurant Stop&go on the third floor: an environment of the five-star hotel at a good price and without excesses. I try very very friendly and the food more appetizing. To repeat. Highly recommend any of the desserts and to end the visit on the rooftop of the hotel dsifrutando views.

Painful… the hotel is expensive for what it offers. The rooms are old, dirty walls, beds uncomfortable. And small bathroom. The TV room is 30 years ago, and even looks good because the signal of the DVB-t does not come. If to this we add that there is noise and listen to everything above… never again.

This hotel is equipped as a 4 stars. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast is impeccable. But alas, this hotel is extremely noisy: the walls are close and you can hear everything that happens in the neighbouring rooms. The floor without carpet, marble slabs, dampens noise. And finally the windows are clean. In short, the nights are difficult because of the tintamarre! I was in Barcelona to work and my bad night turned my boat trip. It is not at all worth a four star. Earplugs are essential.

Really not a four star but that being said it's a solid 3. Staff super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Free Wi-Fi throughout which is a nice touch. Cool rooftop bar although the pool was shut. Would have been better if the website had let us know. The un-refurbished rooms are a bit tired but we were offered an upgrade. For a price. Not really worth it. The air con was very effective and the noise from the street was fine. We opted out of the breakfast (many places nearby) so can't comment. Good location, close to the station but a bit out of the tumult of main Barca.

Very good hotel near main connections bus/underground attractions and splendidvservive and facilities.

Does not deserve 4 star hotel rating. Breakfast was terrible — Bain Marie was always cold. Never any glasses, tables not set, used dishes everywhere. Badly organised or under staffed or both. Room was ok, small and basic but was cleaned well. Staff at desk efficient and friendly and speak good English. Wifi was excellent. Shower good and bed comfortable. Room quite noisy though, road noise and from other rooms. Close to Sants Station a plus. Would still not stay again though.

Not so great from the outside but from the inside really great.

I'm going to talk about the restaurant on the terrace and not the hotel. We went to dinner at the terrace, they offered a menu of Hamburger with starters. We sat at a table without just lighting, lucky that it was a full moon day. The starters were all fried food and normalita hamburger. Several starters that we wanted to order were exhausted. The waiter was very nice apologized us for being new and by the few dishes that could be used. I do not think that it again or recommend it.

Yes, this hotel doesn't have the biggest rooms and isn't the most modern hotel in Barcelona. You get what you pay for, and you pay a really cheap price in comparison to other hotels in the area. This may be one of the cheapest hotels I have ever stayed in, but the staff and service was the absolute best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We had no idea what we were doing, and the staff hooked us up with free passes, free outlet adapters, and plenty more that they were in no way obliged to do. One of the staff spent thirty minutes helping us book train tickets with the very confusing Sants station. All of them spoke English very well, and were extremely friendly. There was a situation where we were scammed right in the hotel lobby by two scumbags and the people at the front desk voiced their concern to us because we did not realize we had been scammed. Shortly after, we discovered that we had just given away 100 euros in exchange for a counterfeit bill, and the front desk were extremely helpful. The police got involved, and shortly, the identities, passports, license plates, and all other information of the thieves was retrieved thanks to the watchfulness and helpfulness of the staff. We doubt we will retrieve the 100 euros, but if we did, I would leave it as a tip for the hotel because the service was outstanding. You will not find any friendlier and more helpful people.

I found a very good offer through its website, very good location if you have to travel by train or just come to Barcelona. I believe that on the third floor they have an area of sofas and bar restaurant very interesting meeting of business at a great price. In general very acceptable price-service ratio.

This hotel was terrible. I thought I booked a 4 star hotel, I expect the bare minimum on things. However when I walked into the hotel I knew this was a bad hotel. The lobby smelt like a bathroom. The rooms are very small. You can hear everyone around you, as well as the street noise. At this hotel it is very hard to sleep no matter what time of day. Everything was terrible about this hotel. I would never go there again. This is not a 4 star hotel this is a half of a star hotel. If you plan on just partying and doing nothing else the whole trip this is the hotel for you. If you want something romantic try again. Please think twice before booking here. I believe that most of the reviews they have are also fake. So this is a real review of how they really are.

I stayed here for six nights and was very pleased. For being in such an expensive city in Europe the rate was very good and the location is convenient since it is right next to the train station and many subway stations. The breakfast buffet was really good. Lots of good pastries and dishes, and veggies too if you want eat healthy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the shower did not have a curtain (only partial glass wall) so water got all over the floor. Great water pressure though. I plan to rebook when I come back to fly home.

Very old hotel. This to break down and make it new. Rooms are good size but in very poor condition for a four star hotel. Attempt to connect a game console with some friends and it was impossible; all rooms have TV's tube of the year of the polka, and when you ask at reception for a solution you are looking with a stupid face and tell you that there is no. The only good thing the situation by the others I've been to better than this hotel hostels. Real stars 2, 5.

Good location, close to the station. The room is not very big but the restaurant seemed very good and pleasant. Good price and good service.

Very good service and cleanliness of rooms. Very good location, near the train station and tourist bus stops.

Good hotel in a very convenient location. Only a few minutes walk from the train station (where you arrive from the airport). The rooms are in OK-nice bathroom. Only a very small balcony. For a roof terrace on the 10th floor with a small pool. Average breakfast. Overall, we can recommend the hotel.

The entrance purist in orange / pink. The reception very bright and friendly staff. Explanations in Spanish and English, very little German. The rooms — 1 double room with 2 beds was ordered — furnished very practical, bright, friendly and clean. The single beds 1 m convinced with vigorous water spray wide, balcony and large bathroom with BD, great basin and large mirror, sufficient storage space, bath tub with separate shower. Breakfast and Restaurend on the 3rd floor, here also Internet facilities, also in the rooms. Breakfast is very rich with everything really wants the palate. Warm, Catalan typical, many fruits, salad, everything to the Selberzubereiten, very many different types of bread and bocadillos to DIY, water, juices, tea, coffee, milk all rich and so much you liked this quite a few tarts.
The room here, too pure, bright, probably in the summer but much too hot to very pleasant this time of year. The Restaurent with table runners in orange and purple, very nice. As well the adjacent bar with fantastically low prices and very friendly staff. 1 bottle of best Rioja wine reserva 2005 for whole 9, 00 €!. Breakfast with 12, €50 p. P. Definitely not too expensive.
