Great location, helpful staff, clean and comfortable hotel, I recommend.

Wow, we cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is amazing, I wish I could remember one young man’s name, he has perfect English, plus several other languages and understands Americans are not used to mass transit and several other European necessities. He also helped us with a problem at our next city\hotel and made a long distance call to us on his own phone as we traveled by train to pass on needed information. Our room was on the street but the windows muted the sound of the large night folks on the street below very well. The hotel is in a wonderful location, we walked everywhere, but the metro was just down the street if needed, clean comfortable rooms, breakfast is just ok, but all else was far above expectation!

The hostal was good value for money. My room was always nice and clean. The staff were very helpful, especially May. The Hostal is near the beach, the Nou Camp and many other tourist areas which is brilliant. I enjoyed my stay there!

Not a 5* star hotel but serves my needs which is thy I've stayed there four years running now and is my first choice for Barcelona stays. Metro station within 2 minute walk of the hotel. Rooms are basic with bed, toilet and shower and air con.

We had room 302 for 3 nights, sparkling clean, very comfortable twin beds and pillows. Air conditioning even we expected a fan. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is awesome, right near metro station. Later we realized we can easily go walking to find places to visit without taking the metro. The bathroom was looking as recently reformed, no bad smells or anything. For all the rest I highly recommend it, except for the breakfast coffee (but at least is a matter of tastes). It is more likely to return here someday if they still want us.

Just missing bath mat, coffee maker in the room. A lack of soundproofing spoil a bit the trick, if not very good.

Comfortable Hotel within walking distance dallar Rambla, clean small rooms but with everything you need, great and abundant breakfast. Only flaw, my room had no windows or better a piping view.

Not bad at all. Well located and economical. There were four of us and the room was great for a group like this. Breakfast is also included. The subway is super close, with main lines. So I would definitely recommend it.

For the price I paid, I had an unbeatable location, a good breakfast and very good deal. The room was somewhat outdated, the mattresses were very soft for me (yes, you were asleep at once so comfortable, but not doing very well on the back) and the bathroom had what it takes to live, the toilet worked well, they had soap/shampoo, hairdryer and towels. The shower was a bit unpleasant, it flooded very fast, the drain was not very good, had a curtain that threatened to touch your whole body at all times and had a ventilation that hit a hole in the middle of the building and go to know one that bugs came out of there.
As for the cleanliness, they passed very late around 5pm. When they should do it between 11 and 14, that is the time when guests leave. Of the 4 days that I was, they went to clean only one, that the truth is not good at all.
But it's the price I wanted to pay, and for the location I had, plus breakfast I can't complain much.

The rooms where even better from what we originally saw during our booking. Value for money to say the least. All the receptionists were very helpful, explanatory andd willing to assist us in any way. It is definitely recommended.

Highly recommended for its very good location. It is in parallel, next to the Sala Apolo and 10 minutes from Las Ramblas crossing Nou de la Rambla. 5 minutes from the Raval. On the Internet you can get very good prices. The service is friendly, they keep the bags on the day of checkout, and they have breakfast service.

Clean, but requires repair, the walls are thin, you can hear even the rustling of neighbors, dirty walls, breakfast is simple, but enough to snack in the morning, the price is low, next to the street. Rambla.

Great location and nothing else. Small rooms, cleanliness that leaves to be desired, stained walls. Every morning from the bathroom came out bad smells and became almost unusable. Despite being included in the price we always had breakfast outside, since at 9am. 30 in the morning we did not find anything. I will never go back.

Okay hostel for the price. There were some things that needed improvement. The bath was in poor shape, and there were two chairs, but no table. And only one power outlet by the bed. The breakfast was okay, but there wasn't that to many things to choose among. Good with 24 hours reception, and good location.

The service is really nice, courteous, attentive. You should not expect facilities and breakfasts of a 5 star and we were 5 and we slept very well!

The location It was a good solution for a small family holiday. The hotel is located in a strategic place to the historical center of the city of Barvellona.

I can't complain about the staff at all, they were friendly and attentive from the first to the last. My score is above all for the facilities, lousy, ruinous up. Walls with chewing gum attached to the side of the bed, cracks and holes, dirt and stains, it was appreciated that the cleanliness was made, but the maintenance of the place shone by his absence. The breakfast buffet, like a breakfast that I can do every day in my house, basic. Yes I have to say to your favor that one point for the orange juice, of granini, not like those unpalatable water powders from most hotels.

Great location, very good Tapa bars in the vicinity to hang out and dinner. Quiet. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hostel itself is totally overpriced. The breakfast is really lowest-lowest quality although buffet. The rooms are dark, basic and the shower is nothing for bigger persons as it is so narrow that you can't reach your feet if you are tall, let alone picking up soap if it fell down. Our shower doors were defunct so the bathroom got flooded. Aircon was defunct upon checkin but repaired after an hour or so. TV didn't work but didn't matter as it has Spanish channels only.

It is a very central but old hotel, rooms with the essentials, a part of the hotel is more renovated. The price is good for what is Barcelona.

Unsanitary hotel, the worst hotel in Barcelona. July 2017. It's rotten. Unsanitary room. We hear everything that's said in the hotel. Moisture, pestilent odor. I've been to rotten places, in Africa, in Central America, this hotel is the worst of the worst. I paid €76 this piubelle that is not worth €5. In comparison Formula One is a 5 star Palace.

I liked the stay at the Hostal very much. I had a room for one person. The bed was very good. Air conditioning Super and BarcaTV I could also receive.
The bathroom was clean as well as my room and was cleaned daily.
The view is standard for the price. Even had a room with a window in the stairwell at my last stay in Barcelona, in another hotel of the same price category. I couldn't open that, you heard everyone walking around there.
The staff were all friendly. There is a vending machine in the lobby. In the street there is a SuperMerkat, an extra shop for toiletries and also cafes.
I didn't have breakfast there.
The Hostal is quite noisy, which is not to be avoided anywhere if there is room in the room.

Broken shower doors. Water leaking everywhere … no place for shower head to hang on and was placed on the floor… shower too small. Broken side lamp hanging to floor position only, limited breakfast facility, shower floors were apparently renovated. Ha! ha! Np enough hanging place. No chair in room.

Pros: the staff is very friendly, it is located near the metro and almost in the centre. Breakfast is included (not so good, but it is not bad) Cons: This hotel is not so well-manteined (the corridor has a lot of mold), but it is under restoration, and I hope it will be a good hotel to stay. The rooms are very minimal and a bit old-looking. I gave only 2 stars mainly because of the condition of the bedrooms.

Good location, near to the metro and therefore the whole city. The room is very spatious and has good air condition. The bathroom is clean and fresh except from the draper that seems old. All contact with the reception went easy. The breakfast has everything that you usually see, but it still feels something is lacking, maybe a variety of bread. Overall a nice hostel.

Nicely located near laundry station and grocerie store, close to the metro, big open room, good AC, fresh bathroom with included soap and helpful staff to top it off! Decent breakfast included.

Hotel to avoid besides they have some practice very twisted during cancellation that is conflicting with Booking that hosts this kind of barn on its platform.

Very basic rooms but served our purposes perfectly. Amazing bed (memory foam mattress and pillows), a hot and powerful shower, built in hair dryer and a big TV on the wall. The staff were friendly and the location was good.

Quiet, good location, impeccable service. On the other hand, outdated equipment and very little provided, Wi — Fi no (300 k), and feel like a military barracks. Essentially Spanish TV channels. Recommended for individual travellers, backpackers and students, small budgets. For romantics or families with children, look elsewhere. One catch: booking on TripAdvisor in free mode but I have still been charged 15% of the total amount of the booking.

Cleaning of the room is not outstanding. A bit pricey for a 2 star hotel.

Being at the edge of the Raval, you should be a bit careful.

Lousy. If you're a tall, like me. This hotel will not like you. The beds are very small!
-very old sheets
-very small room.
-the bed was for children (had never seen a bed as lowercase)
-the bathroom was clean, but very useful and small.
-the area is not very safe.
-Receptionist, an old man, very stupid and poorly educated.

Been there for two nights with a group — all inclusive breakfast should have been included. However, the receptionist/owner followed the group into the dining hall and began to argue with us when some people wanted to eat more than one piece of toast (! ). He told us that all inclusive in his opinion means the portion of food that he himself finds satisfying. The food included 1 piece of toast, 1 piece of cheese, 1 piece of ham and one cup of "the" (I guess he meant tea by this) or coffee with one glass of orange juice. I found his manner harsh and the promised all inclusive breakfast quite misleading. He didn't handle the situation well at all. It's quite a shame too, because otherwise we enjoyed our stay pretty much, we liked the location and the rooms too.

To be a fast food restaurant, I think that the price quality is very good, very nice atmosphere and the very fast and good.

The restaurant is very full I like and what draws attention is the name that has at the entrance which is fabulous.
