We enjoyed the food and the reasonable prices. We knew when to visit the place so the service was OK.
Very slow service. Took a long time to get the waiter's attention. Longer to get our order taken. And took for ever to get the food. We ordered paella and the portions are huge (so are the prices). The waiter suggested 4 portions for my wife and I and our little ones. They brought out two huge pans and we could not even finish one of them. Lots of food went to waste. When it came to pay the lady inside (owner) charged my credit in US dollars without asking. When I confronted her about it, she said, she charged me in my countries currency (none sense). I am not sure how she decided what country I was from before she even have a conversation. A lot of unscrupulous establishment in Barcelona do this because they charge at a very high exchange rate that provides them additional revenue. I consider this cheating the unsuspecting. Most tourist (like myself) don't bother arguing and just sign the bill. But you end up paying extra (the exchange rate they charged me there was 1.5 times street rate). To give credit when is due, the paella was great tasting. We were sorry we could not eat it all! :)
