I have stayed in over a dozen hotels/apartments in Barcelona and I wholeheartedly believe that CoolRooms is the best of all of them. The staff is genuinely friendly, attentive and hard working. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, and extremely comfortable with high end appliances and very comfortable beds. Gracia is a great neighborhood, with a small village feel, posh shops (that comes with posh aditudes) and really fantastic restaurants. I could not recommend CoolRooms more!

New hotel in the heart of the Passeig de Gracia. Steps away from Metro, we had a great time staying in the 2BR apartment. There's some construction going on nearby so beware some noise during the day for now. The staff was friendly and helpful and the apartment was well equipped. It even included a universal outlet built into the bedroom in case you forgot any europlug adapters.

The location of the hotel is very good.
I'm not sensitive, but as soon as the neighbor has made his shutters, I've heard that in my room as if he's doing this in my room. As soon as he opened the faucet, it was as if the water was running in my room. So you could never really find peace of sleep as soon as the neighbour was talking.
We had a small terrace on the level of the reception, which is why you always had to close the shutters, because you can share the place with the main terrace and therefore anyone who sits on the main terrace is able to look inside. It's a separation, but it's not enough. It would be nice to have it cut off better. The Terrassetür could not be closed, the reception was pointed out, but nothing happened. Well, the Wi-Fi was pretty bad too. But this is often the case in hotels.
The good thing about the hotel is the location and the nice staff, which is why I didn't want to be mean with the rating, because on the whole everything was OK.

I stayed at Cool Rooms for a weekend and although the staff were very pleasant, I was not overly impressed with the place. It cannot be referred to as a hotel, more an up-market hostal. It is hugely over priced for what it is. I paid £230 per night. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable, but did not have down pillows. There was no mirror and very little space to hang clothes. No phone to call reception. Lovely decor, but ensure you ask for a room at the back, as the rooms in front all have a nasty smell in them (which I was told they could not solve). House keeping gave my rooms a very quick clean, but didn't clear out dirty teacups. All things considered, would be a nice place and value for money at about £150/£170 per night.

CoolRooms was a great place to stay. We had a "Garden View" apartment which sounds like it would look out to an interior corridor but in fact looked out at a quiet street and the back of a monastery. The apartment had all the amenities we were seeking, including a washing machine. The style was very well done (actually looked just like the pictures on the website) and everything was clean and new. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We arrived early on an overnight flight and made sure we had coffee before we even checked in, took our bags, and later called as soon as our apartment was ready. It feels like something between a hotel and a B&B (in a good way). The location is pretty good, but it depends what you want and how you want to get around. It's very close to a major subway station, which has a line going down Passig de Gracia and La Rambla. It is also near a bus that goes between the Gothic Quarter and El Born. We liked the location, but I wouldn't suggest it for someone who wants to mostly stay near the Gothic Quarter and lower part of La Rambla. I would definitely recommend CoolRooms and would likely stay there again next time I'm in Barcelona.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom seems to be made for handicapped people and the breakfast very scarce (no toaster or butter) "A I want and I can't" as the price is high for what the stay provides.

Sorry for bad foto, but still. The rooms are extremely good! The design is really modern and beautiful without overdoing it. Rooms have all tiny things to make good dinner and have comfortable shower (even grater, sewing kit and toaster). We were in 5 people, really surprised with pleasant staff and supergood beds) ) ) As location is city center, you have to count with bad parking.
