Hotel El Call Hotel

The location is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and well-groomed. Of the downsides is the lack of a refrigerator (mini-bar) in the room. Although the place allows and the price for the room is not so low. Otherwise the perfect hotel for living in the old town.

We love it, the staff are very friendly and the food and wine is wonderful A very cool place for dinner in Barcelona.

Nice hotel with a very good location. If you come by car, the parking lot is not close and the cost of a whole night makes the price of the room per night be equipped to other hotels of better category.

Not what I expected when I stayed at hotel call. Did not receive the 2 bed room I reserved and could not offer me an alternative. Room was painted in dark colours and no natural light shone through due to the small window the faced inwards. This made the room feel like a dungeon which made me comfortable at all. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the rooms next door. Was without power AND water at the same time for a little over 2 hours one of the evenings I stayed there. The man at reception was not phased and assured me it would be fixed. I only give it 2 stars due its central location.

Stayed for one nights with 3 friends including myself. The space is small, with one double bed and two singles and one bathroom. Good enough for a short stay. There's not really space to spare so keep that in mind!

My partner and I stumbled across this place after trying to find another restaurant, luckily it had been closed so we chose this one instead and what a great choice it was! we ordered 5 tapas and it was sensational! The staff were very friendly. Would recommend trying if you are around the area.

This is a brilliantly placed hotel, right in the middle of the Barri Gotic area and if location is important to you I would strongly recommend it. It is serviced by a 24 hour reception (very friendly and helpful staff), but that is it. There is no bar and no kettle/fridge in the room — which is very small — so the hotel is for sleeping only!

Ideal for a WE where you do not want to ruin yourself. The only star of this hotel comes from the fact that the rooms are small, no breakfast or parking, but other than that, if it does not pay for an outdoor mine, it has for him to be beautifully placed, lift, with a very friendly staff and a lobby really Welcoming. All this is balanced by a very small room but with all convenience, very correct bedding and maintenance impeccable. Safe and TV included. In short, the perfect foot on the ground without the pretension of the stay Barcelonnais on the thumb…

The room was very nice Staff friendly But the property exempts many problems in the rooms. Better to sleep in the train station than in that room.

Great location, just off Las ramblas. Hotel was very clean and seemed very new. Our triple room didn't have a window, but that was my only criticism. Would stay again.

Great location, good price, basic facilities, small space. For a solo traveler like me who went out all day and only come back to the hotel to sleep, it was enough. Room was not soundproof, but I guess I just fell asleep because I was damn tired lol. Staffs were very friendly. Old-fashioned elevator. If you are traveling with small children or big luggages, I don't recommend this place. But if you are solo traveler, looking for something nicer than bunk bed accommodation, then it's a good choice.

This very nice decorated, is the center of the Gothic Quarter, there are many shops and restaurants to go, everything is at hand, there is safe, is very clean.
The bad: You hear all that is spoken in the rooms next door.

Hotel in the gothic part of Barcelona. Fair price. Good location. Stuff are speaking english. Rooms are enough for sleeping, nothing fancy just sleep and go away. Kettles are missing, no bottled water in room. Besides that I would recommend this place as place for sleeping.

Great location. The rooms are small but equipped with all the comforts and especially clean. The bathroom is big enough with the shower.
The point of strength and without a doubt the great location, a few minutes from the Rambla and the Metro.

Clean hotel but noisy from the street and the doors of other guests! Be careful getting out of the shower' tile extremely slippery!

The hotel is very nice, clean and quite modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Also the location was great in the middle of the Gothic quarter, close to many very interesting shops.

Here everything is tight and winding and fits very well with the environment in which it is no different. Lovely and tasteful furnishings, room service, proximity to the metro and the Rambla, lots of bars all around, what more could you want?

Was quite noisy at night with people talking in the hallway, also the walls were pretty thin so you could hear people next door. The water pressure wasn't great either, so some mornings it just stayed on hot. Let in little to no daylight and also had a bad smell which would linger sometimes, however it is in a great location next to the gothic quarter and the staff are friendly. So would I stay there again? Probably not.

This place really isn't bad. I stayed in a newly renovated double, which did have a small window. The only problems were the water pressure was very weak and the the bed was very hard. Staff was friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I suggest arriving by day at night I struggled to find the place.

Chanced upon this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. Great location, very friendly staff and great food. Menu is limited but what they do is well done.

I expected more for 100 Euro, than just a small room without windows, with non-functional air conditioning and unspoiled floor in the bathroom :/

Great location if you're not relying on Google to get you there. Maps has real problem with the Gothic quarter, and sticking with just one route, and not flexibly changing every time you pass a cross road was a fat, pain in my arse. You will be staying in the Gothic quarter, but have access to all of Barcelona's best tourist bits. The hotel itself is not as well signposted as it could be, and my taxi dropped me off at the Jaume I Plaza, (although the staff claim that cabs can get to the door). At the taxi rank, take the fork to the right, not the left, thanks driver. It's one of the first cross roads to your right and on the right. Look for the street art. Hotel is undergoing renovations. Staff will direct you to pull the front door shut behind you. When you arrive, there may be some argy bargy about the room rate, and a tax payable. Apparently "this isn't church" is meant to be a meaningful explanation. I had read about the tax, but I divvy know why the room rate was up for discussion, because I booked through an online service. I will say, they were great about me leaving my bags after check out, because the place is compact and my bags are not. Expect a clean, simple room to crash in, with just what you need for a night or three, and a private bathroom. Staff were very happy to give advice on places to eat in the area.

Extremely clean and super friendly! Room w/ bathroom came with toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Hotel Call Barcelona, ideally located a few meters from Las Ramblas in the neighborhood Jewish very friendly staff and very clean hotel.

E' sicuramente un albergo per chi non ha grandi pretese, ma sicuramente non mancano pulizia e cortesia da parte dello staff. La posizione è a dir poco eccezionale, siete a 2 minuti dalla metro a 50 metri dalla Rambla. Veramente ottimo.

It was a really good hotel to my girlfriend and me. It has not a beautiful interior decoration, but it was clean and comfortable. The rooms are a bit small. The setting is perfect, you can reach Rambla and Underground in 2 minutes. Really nice.

Hello everybody,
the hotel is small but fine. Right is centrally located and not far from the Sea (which was very important for me). The road is a bit noisy, but what do you expect in Barcelona? But to get to Barcelona not there to sleep :-)
I would like to recommend this hotel.

Hotel siple is nor TV has in the abitaciines but it is very clean, as and this very attended bie, Ricardo both janitors as Bruno they crave in attending to the passenger. Gothic Ricardo got the best data in the area.

We spent a great weekend in Barcelona. The hotel was close to all the places which we were interested and very well connected to meters, and commuter trains. The staff is attentive. Remarkable in cleaning.

Staff very friendly and helpful the rooms simple but very clean, what most I like was its very central location to the tourist places of Barcelona in particular the Paseo de las Ramblas.

No Windows, after 22 not the calm, well and walls thinner than cardboard.

Dirty, it was better not swim to not soil yourself. Very old and in poor condition, broken tiles and soil. The window of the room overlooking a courtyard of 2 square meters, no room overlooks the street. Quality/price malisimo. Website of the hotel is very good. Not recommend for 30 euros.
