The food was amazing! Plated beautifully, tasted great and made with healthy ingredients. Kids and adults were happy with their food and drinks!

Travelled to the restaurant 30 minutes from my place to make a reservation since the phone was not picked up on several different days. The website clearly states it is possible to make a reservation and I even confirmed this by e-mail with the general information point. Then I went to one of the locations but they refused to make a reservation. They were very impolite and said that they did not care what the website said and wouldn’t make an exception. Overall rude personnel and very disappointing.

This is a must when visiting Barcelona. We both had the ricotta pancakes and will be back for more!

It’s nothing you expect… everything you’ve ever wanted and never knew existed nor could have dreamed off! Innovative and amazing. Even the iced carmel oatmilk latte exceeded expectations! Portions are definitely shareable.

I really hate writing a bad review on a family business but I really think they should refresh their service after they gave us an insulting experience.
With the 40 minutes long queue it seems like they shouldn't have a cash flow problem and they should be able to come up with a better solution for queue management than to let us stand in the sun.
The long queue did raise the level of expectation but the food was a disaster. We ordered two dishes: one of them was the waffle Benedict that was supposed to come with a charcoal waffle.
After 7 minutes we got eggs Benedict on a plain white bread. They didn't even try to explain. When I asked they said: "yes. We finished the waffles. We're sorry". The dish was not tasty at all, I returned it after taking few bites. Maybe with the waffle it's better.
The cocoa cappuccino was tasteless. I did not complain about it because at least it was what I ordered. The most unfair thing was that they gave us the bill with a tiny cupcake (that was uncooked) and I was surprised to find the 13eur waffle there… I paid, if this is how they run their family business so be it. I'm not recommending this place to anyone.

Everything very dirty 4 out of 4 cups were dirty. Bathroom is disgusting. Poor customer service they are rushing you to leave even if they only have 3 tables. We had to charge ourselves with card because the girl left the machine on the table and never came back.

Amazing, first time in Barcelona and we chose this place for breakfast on one of our days here.
I had the açai bowl, lovely vegan option for me delicious food, and good atmosphere!

This place is a tourist trap. If you like filthy slums with a bad-mouthed hovel, this is a place for you. Have fun. We had booked 2 nights, we left in the early morning of the first. Noise in the neighbouring rooms (discussions of teenagers prepuberts) bathroom, toilet 10 cm from the washbasins, we could drink some water, nothing for breakfast…
The lady who received us was unkind but promised to repay us the second night paid in advance that we did not spend…

This hotel was great. Located in the gothic quarter, it is only around a ten minute walk from both la ramblas and a further ten to the beach. There are also loads of great bars and restaurants in the surrounding area, however, we were never disturbed by too much noise at night. The hotel is and the staff are helpful and very friendly. It feels like more like staying at someone's home than in a hotel. We were a little concerned about the shared bathroom, but with three showers and four toilets (all in their own cubicle) we never had any issue. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Barcelona, be it just for a few days or longer. We certainly would come back to Brun Barcelona again.

A beautiful place to stay in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Very centrally located and excellent base to explore Barcelona. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and modern, with tea and water provided in the kitchen area. The shower rooms are shared but are private enough and plenty enough that this is not an issue — they are well maintained and we never had to queue to use them. Breakfast is not included. I would recommend this accommodation for it's central location, the helpful hosts, and the modern yet charismatic, clean facilities. Thank you, Brun Barcelona! :)

Awesome location and a charming place to stay. The owner is so helpful. If you are after a good value place to stay you would be hard pushed to beat this little gem x.

Excellent location and very good staff.

Great customer service and great value. I checked into a small room which had their own little balcony. Just looking outside gives you a nice glimpse of the gothic architecture. The showers were clean and the place was very well kept. It was a little difficult to find at first as there is no obvious entrance sign.

Joseph is charming and makes you feel at home. The location is great for visiting the Centre of Barcelona.

Great little B&B right in the heart of the gothic quarter. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly welcome. Fantastic room with lovely small balcony. Could not have wished for more.

Very well located (close to the ramblas and the Gothic quarter), B&B Brown offers comfortable rooms. The bathroom is very clean. The breakfasts are hearty. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Finally, managers are very friendly and outgoing. Bravo.
