Castile and Leon Hotels

Beautiful hotel and centrally located. Love the Staff and their breakfast buffet. We walked to all the popular sites of Salamanca from here.

Pluses :
Location.
Large, very comfortable bed.
Friendly Staff.
Excellent Breakfast Buffet.
Probably the most powerful Shower we have ever had outside of America.
Minuses.

Located right in the centre of Salamanca the location is perfect to park the car and just walk. We arrived after a long drive. A lovely welcome from Reception and valet parking.

Small lay-by to park in front of hotel, staff come out, carry luggage inside, and take car to park in onsite underground car park. All staff pleasant and helpful and whole hotel spotlessly clean.

Great value and great location in Salamanca. Traditional style hotel, very clean, very friendly staff, no problems whatsoever.

A wonderful hotel close to the Placa Major and the other sights. The rooms are comfortable and it has secure underground parking. We always use this hotel on the way to the Algarve.

We loved our Christmas 2024 stay here. Ideally located for visiting the city in a relatively quiet area with a fountain.

My family of three stayed in this hotel for two nights and we had a wonderful experience.

Hostal Vadama is in excellent location. Distance from Roman aqueduct is few minutes on foot. Room is very big and clean. The bathroom is big and clean also.

Very comfortable room, I would only have one small drawback, the shower was a little narrow (I'm a big person) for the rest… Nothing more.

Nice and clean, excellent location and great price. Good size room.
Only issue for me was the late arrivals upstairs. Soundproofing could be better.
All in, I had a pleasant stay.

I stayed at Hostal Don Jaime for five days in October 2025, and it genuinely served its purpose perfectly.

Huge room and huge bed with great character, the bathroom was lovely too! We had a balcony on the Delegación de Haciendas, lovely building.

We have been the falleros around the world and we have left very happy with the treatment of the service, amavility and always with a very good face.

The cleanliness, the treatment the staff very friendly.

A convenient short walk away from downtown.
Upon my request, an electric kettle was provided in the room. Friendly check in, decent modern room.

Excellent sense of service and nice customer care;
The location in the city is perfect, you can access to the main places in Leon in 15 minutes walking.

Rooms were old… I liked the bed and service, but a little noise was problematic if you are tired.

Great location being next to the Roman Bridge, so a 15-20 mins walk into the old town. It's a climb once across the bridge but other than that it's manageable for all.

Well located, friendly staff, free parking on the street. A bit of harsh rules for swimming pool.

Average old hotel with great location, good ac and running water, excellent breakfast but customer service lacks some and does NOT have parking, they send you to park at colon parking which will cost

Wow, what a find. Simply by another hotel's stuff up we headed over to Hotel Rua and could not have been more happy.

The entrance lobby is quite elegant. The hallways are beautiful. The room is spacious with plenty of room to lay out suitcases and be comfortable.

Our stay at Artheus Carmelita’s Salamanca was wonderful! The hotel is very charming and inviting. The decor is eclectic with an old world charm. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Very good accomodations hotel and a very good location because are very nearest of the old Salamanca center.
Very good breakfast.
Very calm zone and all the hotel are very clean.
Congratulations.

Good staff, Bene had amazing English and was super helpful. Clean. Breakfast was good. Good location. Room great. Except it was excessively hot and we could not control the temperature.

Having travelled the world for more than half a century, both on business and for leisure, and having stayed in some splendid properties, this place is up there with the best of them.

A truly beautiful boutique hotel in a great location to walk to the main historical locations, shopping and restaurants.

Very close to the via verde 'rail trail' that you can bicycle from Plasencia all the way to Salamanca (bypassing the Eurovelo 1 route).

Everything was very tasty and fresh. The hotel design is beautiful and well thought out. The hosts are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming.

Excellent in all aspects.
We stayed one night to visit Las Médulas and the choice was worth it.
On the one hand, the accommodation is unbeatable.

Exceptional hotel from all points of view: location, facilities, services and staff attention.

I recommend coming to eat here 100%. The treatment and food are unbeatable. The lamb was spectacular, so much so that we didn't even have time to take the photo.

The restaurant is magnificent, everything delicious and impeccable. The price is more than affordable for the quality of the product and the care with which they make the food.

We stayed here one night on our way back to Portugal and chose it for it´s quiet location and large suite.
Our room was on the top floor.

Stayed here overnight, quiet pretty village, beautiful sceanary lovely airy rooms, good size and comfy beds, friendly and helpful service, good food, well cooked and nicely prepared, excellent value.

Very good. The apartment they gave us was large and very comfortable. Television in the living room and bedroom. It is fully equipped. Full bathroom and everything near the center.

The apartment is very good, perfect size, very clean and modern. It has an independent check-in system with an application. Very quiet too, even though it is at the entrance to the center.

A house with great detail, and the wonderful attention received. Quiet place in a beautiful town and next to the black lagoon. Delicious breakfasts and super comfortable rooms.

Beautiful inn in a beautiful city. The spacious room, decorated with great taste, everything impeccable, the attention of Ana and Susana warm and very pleasant, the breakfast very special.

This is a lovely hotel, simple and classy.
I highly recommend to sample their cuisine. We had dinner there and the food was simply brilliant and a nice selection of wines.

This hotel is beautiful, well laid out, clean, and quiet. It's tucked away in a little corner of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Fantastic location, you certainly can't ask for anything better if you're staying in Salamanca.

We spent one night in one of the rooms on Calle Broad and it was a pleasant discovery. The room was very clean, beautiful and well located.

Isidro, a great host, manages the codes and helps with the packaging of our bikes. Excellent location and modern decoration with avant-garde lighting.

Great location.
Nice clean property.
Noise! It was party time in Leon.
Saturday night I was fine with as I had Sunday off.

Location is superb as are the rooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The reception we got was second to none and owner was very helpful with advice on where to eat.

Modern clean albergue with a large kitchen.
Everything was good.

One of the best hostels on the Camino. Highly recommend booking a private room if you need a good rest. It’s clean, spacious, comfortable, and air-conditioned, all at a very decent price.

Very, very nice and helpful staff. Clean room with all the amenities, excelent location.
Coffe and home made pastries in the morning, included.

"Perfect Stay in the Heart of Ávila"**
I had an incredible experience at this hotel. The central location made exploring Ávila so convenient.

This is a fabulous, very clean, and well-equipped hostel directly on El Camino Francés as it passes through Léon. Great value for money.

Thank-you, Borja and Anna, and thank-you to León Hostel! Spent several days here and had an excellent time.

Everything was really really amazing. The staff is really friendly. They give free breakfast. The rooms are very clean and spacey. They have a private bathrooms and showers.

This was by far one of the best Hostel experiences Ive had on my trip so far!
