Very comfortable and a safe parking area.

Nice hotel in Ponferrada. We stayed a couple of nights at the end of August. The room was good and functional. Air conditioning was very welcome. A powerful shower and nice selection at breakfast. Bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Maybe the investment of a mattress topper would considerably improve that. The lost of a star for me was down to the fact the rest of the hotel was so unusual and interesting with its castle theme and grand stain glass windows and unusual decoration, that the room was almost a little disappointing in comparison. A good standard hotel room that was clean. Hotel is located withing 10 minutes walk of the Templar castle and opposite the park.

Very disenchanted with this place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were not given the room requested. Very little cleanliness. The shower water was coming out dirty. I don't think I could have four stars.

Spectacular hotel in the aesthetic sense. It has a very attractive medieval style, but loses charm in the comfort, space and services of the rooms. Soft beds and untapped spaces to leave suitcases. The restaurant is nothing of the other world for the price they ask for. It would require much more than a 4 star hotel.
A good thing is that there is free paid parking of 11 euros but it has free room at the door of the hotel.

A beautiful hotel that sets a castle both on the outside and inside. Romantic touch.

It needs an urgent renovation other than staff to cater for at breakfast as two people can't cater to 60 diners.
The situation is not very close to the castle area which is the most emblematic of this city.

A quaint hotel a little dingy needs a general overhaul although you should not miss your style, the employees very friendly and helpful.

It has four stars but it dropped at least one… The rooms are OK, they are not very spacious but they are clean and the bathroom is very comfortable.
They have very little lighting: two lamps of yellow light and the natural light does not enter well unless the window is opened (something that in winter is not viable unless you want to freeze).
The heating is good though somewhat noisy in according to which room.
The breakfast buffet for privates is complete; For group trips It is very scarce and there is usually quite a complaint.
The food the same, particularly the menu is OK but the groups eat regular and even bad.
It is fifteen minutes from the Templar castle, has shopping area next door and the taxi station on the same street.
The reception and cleanliness is the best thing the hotel has.

Tele size kitchen, Estrechiiiisima bathtub, hair dryer obsolete, no magnifying mirror, bedspread (Garnet Rag), etc. Etc.
The four stars you say you have… don't deserve them.
I would never repeat this hotel.

Hotel with medieval decor. Next to the train station and 10 minutes from the historic center of Ponferrada.
Rooms are spacious and decor-friendly. They get a little dark because of the old windows.
Clean bathrooms.
It has a cafeteria, restaurant and paid parking.

A scam. It is a four star hotel and would pass by a hostel. All Viejisimo. The only thing that is newer is the bathroom, everything else is to throw away. We'll never come back.

We went to eat and we couldn't eat absolutely nothing all embarrassing, we haven't eaten so bad in our life. That was the waiter very willing and attentive, even being the only one for the two lounges and cafeteria. We'll never come back.

The Hotel is not bad though you see that in your day it would be luxury. He once touched me in a room where the bathroom radiator kept making noise. I was moved to ipso-facto room.
It's nice, although a bit dated the furniture was in perfect condition and clean.

The décor is spectacular. The fact that the director's office this behind the receptionist, I think it's not right. It is rare to listen without privacy all your conversations by phone. The room well but the bathroom needs a renovation. I think he would do well an investment to renew certain aspects and give a little storage room to the poor director. Very cool Medieval Decor.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well heated. Breakfast and good food. Lack of lighting in some rooms but overall good.

The hotel on the outside is very nice but inside to be a 4 star lacking level, x example the TV in the room very small and when we went to breakfast there were no dishes and little food, and there was no one to ask for it.

Comfortable bed, quiet, clean enough. Good buffet breakfast for about 9 euro. Decorated like a medieval castle inside. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We went two nights 41 people on an association trip. The décor very nice but needs a renovation. The worst the food and dinner. You can't choose anything else from what they put on you, but it's the same thing from the day before.
We put a complaint on the claim sheet.
I wouldn't go back.

Pretty cool weird place! They do have a Camino stamp. Within short distance of the train and a Margarita. The local castle is also close by, the river, and an outdoor market (at least, on Wednesday). On if the front desk staff refused to speak to us in Spanish, even though we are fluent… it was a little weird. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are super modern, tons of hot water, nice enough toiletries. Fridge and TV and AC in our room. Decent price overall. I'd stay again.

Booked a room short notice, and they help us nicely. Charming medieval style hotel, with lovely staff who used English to help us with directions. Close to the train station, which was very helpful for Pilgrims. Had room service meals, which were delicious.

The Temple Ponferrada Hotel is a great place to stay, positioned right in the centre of Ponferrada with loads of atmosphere, and wonderful complimentary pieces, such as full suits of armour within the Hotel. The Hotel Temple restaurant served a variety of lovely local dishes, my only criticism was that the portions were very large.

Theme of the temple and the staff has a very good deal. Good Wi-Fi coverage.

The hotel has some views, location and decor very satisfactory. However the room that I was assigned had the entire roof with loose paint and Brown bath (its original color was white). To the report to the receptionist of the State of the bath I replied that were aware of their status. A pity that so much care about details and the most important neglected them.

We had intended to visit Las Médulas, so the location of the hotel was perfect. Allowed us to also know the old part of the city walking. Near the hotel there is a pedestrian street where bars and cafes you have to take something. The friendly staff. Spacious and clean room. The normal breakfast service. Quiet area. I recommend room overlooking the Park and the mountain.

Good place to rest in Ponferrafa.

I like all their staff and outside is think mediebal style.

I liked a lot. If I return to Ponferrada was staying at this hotel. It has its charm.
