Hostel very well located if you arrive by train to Santander.
Small rooms but very clean and comfortable.

A nice no fuss hotel/ high quality hostal Very conveniently positioned next to bus depot, local and national train stations. Very comfortable bed and bedding. (Unusual to have such nice pillows in Spain) spotlessly clean private room with enough suite. Tea/ coffee facilities in room. Very nice to have a fridge in the room and even glasses and bottle opener. Lots of cafe's, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Very well stocked supermarket 3 mins walk away. Unless you have stayed in Spanish hosts before you may find the entrance a little strange. It looks like you have entered a block of flats. The hostal door situated on the second floor, via lift or stairs, looks like any other apartment door. But then opens up to a nice space. If you are looking for real luxury and room service, book a top hotel. But if price, location, comfort and cleanliness are important to you then I highly recommend Cabo Mayor. I will certainly use again.

This hostel is very good, very friendly owners, very nice room with everything very well equipped, very comfortable beds, heating very well. We recommend it.

Pprobablemente or in a 5 * would have been better. We arrived very early, but they kindly kept us suitcases. Already returned in the afternoon and had the detail already leave the luggage in our room. With respect to the room itself, quite comprehensive, enough space to move and beautifully decorated for our taste. Very clean bathroom and shower great, with a huge artichoke, perhaps a little uncomfortable the partition glass, but it is necessary to not put it all lost (at the end and at the end what counts is its usefulness). Towels and ammenities good. Very comfortable beds, pillows and cushions already according to tastes. The detail to let us you and coffee finally we do not enjoy it, but only by being there already thanks. As for the location, lies between the train and bus stations, quiet despite continuous transit of passengers and no complaints for noise. The city 5 minutes along the main bus lines. No problem not by anyone at the entrances and exits of the hostel. Departure day our flight was in the evening, so we were offered to store suitcases as they had done the day of arrival, and recommended us to spend those last hours visiting a village nearby.

We paid 40 euro for double room and we have kitchen, sofa, huge bed and huge bathroom and everything is so close. you should.

According to 10, I would give it a 9.999. Incredible price for its facilities, service and location. Now I understand why it was so difficult to make a reservation in Cabo Mayor! A property you'd like to go back!
