The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Walking distance to all sightsBreakfast buffet is good but if you didn't get a package with breakfast or usually have a smaller breakfast, they have a cafeteria for a simple breakfast of croissant and coffee. We arrived late and was attended to by Inuki and he has to be the most friendly service staff we have met in our 14 days in Spain.

Nice, hotel a couple of blocks from absolute center of Bilbao. Good breakfast but nothing out of the ordinary. Clean rooms with AC.

Centrally located. Friendly staff and beautiful ambience. Rooms were clean. Breakfast intercontinental.

Very nice and elegant Hotel. Parking is located in a street with no access and to enter we had to ask for directions to reception. Very cozy and elegant entrance with a lot of marble in sight. Small candies are always available at the reception. To climb into the rooms you can use two elevators or stairs. The rooms are cozy, large, clean with a very fast free internet connection. The European breakfast is plentiful and for every palate.

Very bad Hotel in the room area. It is necessary to top the cupboard of the room at the bottom, the plug of the bathroom was not fitted and it looked the cement, corridor; The rug lacked a good chunk that they could not or wanted to disguise. The front door is badly topped as it looked a lot of space between frame and door entering noises and light. Good thing there was another second door to avoid the defect of the first. The role of the walls of the aisle is peeled and yellowish. They lack maintenance. And attention to these cases of malfunction to be a four star hotel. Now very well beds, room service, hotel service the cafeteria and breakfast buffet of 10. I also found excessive the price of bikes for rent to be a large and classic bikes… if they still had electric battery would see normal. Also. They have a charging point for electric vehicles. And a spectacular interior terrace.

Right, nice. It meets the standards of the chain it belongs to. Well located in a quiet area with little noise and at the same time a walk to the attractions of Bilbao. If you can, better a suite. Nice historic building. There are restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

It was in a good location for what we were doing. The rooms were good. It has two beds that are pushed together but an overall good size and comfort. The breakfast has a good selection with friendly staff.

Hotel was above our expectation concerning that we took agency trip. We were in hotel during 5 days and everything was good with few small points to improve (see below). Rooms are large enough, clean and nice. • Coffee is terrible (even in the bar) • Bar is opening in the afternoon so if you’re stuck in hotel from any reason, nothing to do. • There is a nice terrace for outdoor sitting (covered) but the door to terrace is practically impossible to open for any small person and even large one will have problem if he’s carrying coffee or tea to the terrace (and this is obviously already for some time). Everything in Bilbao is at most 30 min walk away – old city – 25 min, Gugenheim 20-25 min. We arranged without any problem late check-out at 15h and rooms were available at 11h on the day of arrival.

Very comfortable, good atmosphere. The staff is very nice. The system of appliances can be improved.

The Hotel is very well located, and you can walk to the Guggenheim within a quarter of an hour. The rooms are spacious with a nice big bed and a terrace. The only thing very much hot especially in the hallways.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Very good breakfast. On the next trip gladly again.

Nice place, comfortable room, staff very helpful to a non-spanish speaker, close to town centre and taxi rank. Slightly worn around the edges, but lots of marble and shiny metal. Overall quite nice with some character.

I stayed three nights with my partner with breakfast buffet and the truth that great. 100% recommended, the only thing is that the hairdryer in the room to dry your hair you have to be 30 minutes and you leave your fingers but otherwise everything is perfect.

Excellent hotel, also excellent breakfast service, 521impecable Room, could have been a bit bigger, the furniture is a bit cramped in the room overall space, the air conditioning facilities in the room is a little noisy and Little effective for heating the room in winter, the staff is very professional but very dry in their deal. The hotel is very well located, and the architecture of it is quite striking for being old, even though its interior spaces are well integrated with the necessary modernity.

It was a excelente stay. The stand was wonderfull.

We had a weekend in Bilbao and we had booked at this property "Silken Indautxu Hotel". This hotel is very well located, the reception is perfect with a receptionist who speaks French. Very comfortable room with a nice bathroom as well as a small boudoir in the entrance with two armchairs, this room looks on the street, this one is very quiet with very little traffic. All travel can be done on foot (10 minutes from the Guggenheim Museum). The hotel has its underground parking (fee), but to find a place in the neighborhood it is difficult. Breakfast is very full (sweet and savoury).
Very good value for money.

I was at a company dinner, the staff was nice and attentive, the food very typical of hotel 4 * and the disco not bad, but penis a person on bar for 70 and so many people, not acceptable.

Everything great and for a really nice price. Staff was wonderful, room totally correct. Cafeteria had great staff too, and very nice prices. Nice selection of beers and wines.

I don't know the rooms. The RestauDante is good and the attention in the bar is great. The area is quiet.

Very close to Pozas. Ideal for having dinner or some tapas in this area. Good breakfast. It has a bar-cafeteria with a nice terrace to seat outdoors and sofas to seat indoors. I have attend to several business meeting here, they are well equiped. The staff is kind. Is very close to Athletic de Bilbao stadium.

They have to improve the attention of the front desk staff. Of the three I tried I felt pretty badly cared for by two of them.
All the rest of the hotel (room and catering) very well.

Place in excellent location that unfortunately is not up to the stars that wave it. I understand that your priority is the accommodation and well-being of your guests. But today there has to be a conjunction between that and the restoration. In the latter, they have stagnated in the years 80, the first of the 90. Well it is true that its price is very interesting in number but this comparison must be in relation to the quality and quantity of the products you pay for and there, the interest of the price makes enough the expectations of the customer. Otherwise, right without further aspirations.

The room, booked by booking, is very comfortable. Clean and spacious. Breakfast varies especially for those with intolerances or allergies. Location of the Hotel excellent… 10 minutes from the Guggenheim or Mercado de la Ribera. I recommend it to young and old couples.

The waiters OK but the kitchen scare. 100 diners. I hope you think about it a little bit because more than half of the dishes were back almost untested. I reiterate horrible.

Is a big place. With a parking, good services and restaurant. Contemporary and with concierge services.

Very good experience. We had a balcony with lovely view and the bed was super comfortable. Downstairs is a small square with some local bars, a must try. The room service was a pleasant surprise also with good food if you're lazy to go out :)

First of all we were happy to have reached the hotel and glad to see that our VW van would fit into the underground parking even after we had to wait for 15 min to get in. The reception is pretty slow as well (+/ — 10 min to check in and out) I find it a bit of an insult to charge you for the hotel parking and once we made a remark when we checked out, the receptionist unconcernedly responded that it's not her fault. Not the right way to handle a client. The hotel room itself was mediocre at first sight. The beds make strange noises and don't sound very safe. In one of the rooms a plug socket came out of the wall and a grid from the air conditionning fell down from the ceiling. It would be time to consider some renovations regarding the rooms. I would have given it 2 stars but the good location and the friendly cleaning staff pushes my decision to 3. Ps: We had 2 rooms on the first floor.

A very good Hotel at a convenient location. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms also were good. The front desk was cordial and helpful. The breakfast options are limited, and even more so for a Vegan/Vegetarian. Also, for travellers from outside Europe, they ought to keep a few plug point connectors.

Amazing staff. Premises are very clean, and the breakfast has a wonderful choice of food. Located in a very quiet area, minutes away from the city centre. Absolutely loved it!

Hotel is a little old but they do everything to keep it clean and everything still works. Breakfast is fine with a large selection of different types of food. Staff is very friendly. All in all for the price they charge a good hotel. Would stay here again.

A hotel in which you will discover if you're allergic to dust. I can tell you that I discovered it after 5 minutes in the room.
In short much: the parking of the hotel looks like a cave, passing through the corridors leading to the elevator, you can see the bed linen and towels, piled up and thrown on the ground.
The reception is spectacular, spacious, very clean and bright. Opposite to the corridors that lead to the rooms, and own rooms.
You will find walls and perforated, speckled and striped columns. A first symptom of lack of maintenance.
Windows rickety room inside, by entering all the noise from the street, and which had to move to one which gave to the Indoor playground. With a ventilation grille that you could plant lettuce without problem (had a layer of dust about two fingers).
The door of the Hall, not closed, because it touched the ground, and do not follow because it's all on the same level… And to top it off, I say goodbye with a hefty bill from the parking, the cost of which I was never informed. Not of much worth per day, or whether it was free or pay.
I still hope a response to my complaint. I left it in his book of claims and they have not replied me, quite strange, after so many months.

It's a bit old and need to be reform, but it's still a good hotel. Good breakfast, good restaurant and goos staff.

We have been treated very well the 3 days that we've been in Bilbao, but the mattresses were too hard and we levantabamos with neck pain.

Only spend a night, easy to find and very well located. Proper care and a nice breakfast. As negative points to note the carpeting omnipresent in the hotel, the bed excessively soft and uncomfortable and in general the feel of old (and by areas neglected) that transmits. I do not displeased but I can't recommend having other options in a price range similar.

The room smells bad, smells like humidity… the toilet paper with mold. Eteléfono does not work… the hallways smell of tobacco … 4 stars nothing na …

In the Centre of Bilbao, hotel with spacious rooms and very nice staff. The breakfast is correct. The theme of the lifts is that they were up to up and over one of them apparently stopped working, but specific problems that are at the end and at the end.

I am a regular customer of the hotel. I travel alone and although I reserve almost always a double for single use I have surprises. In the Indautxu to get to know me and I know the hotel always treat me very well.

A four star hotel in the almost Centre of Bilbao, in a pretty good area. Anything exaggeration of price and three rooms (two televisions) Junior Suites available at prices more reasonable than other lodgings in the city. Recommended if not there is a reduced budget.

The small room and ceiling neglected with chips. The television is not in condition, no chain. It is not worth a four star not far.

My friends have occupied 6 rooms for the past weekend. Agree to describe it as a very comfortable hotel, both in facilities and in the care of all the staff. And they also agree in pointing out the shortage of light (for reading, for example) in the room. Quality/price ratio, very good (reservation in march for occupy in October)

I spent the past weekend. Comfortable beds, very small room and not running the air conditioning, nothing tell reception arrival and not arranged it, the next morning, leave a note on the door in troubleshooting sheet and either, they solved the problem to me or gave me a room where the air work. Not again.

I had been before with my husband and son and we thought it was a great hotel, as it is placed in the centre of town and has been built a few years ago, but this time I was allocated a room with ants running around our feet, the mattress was so soft that I had to take a few paracetamol tablets to relieve the pain on my back. Also the painting on the ceiling of the room, near the balcony was coming off and it looked terrible. The bathroom was ok but one of the metal hangers fell as I was coming out of the bath and it could had hurt my foot as it was very heavy. I found that only one plug was working and I had a phone and a tablet to charge. I was so disappointed! I know it sounds as I had make it up but believe me, it was all too real!. I would recommend to everyone to check your room first and if you see anything wrong, let the people know immediately and do not put up with any nonsense, after all, it is not a cheap hotel.

The rooms are too dark especially in the bathroom, where you can not make. Cleanliness is poor in General. The State of maintenance of facilities does not correspond to the star hotel.

Excellent ratio quality / price. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Definitely.

Good Hotel in a good location. Aircon broke for 2 days of a 7 day stay but was fixed when they said it would be. We didn't eat in the hotel due to the abundance of eateries close by so can't comment on the food but the drinks were cheaper than in most bars nearby :). I would stay here again.

It has a Wi-Fi free but limited in speed (approx. 30 kb) and ports (only web browsing).
The façade with the old maternity is spectacular.
